@uimiles and i have been cooking wof ocs for a bit now. left to right they are Apex (ice/rain), Terminus (night), and Bleak (ice/night). Apex is mine and the other two are his. big fan of them all

Apex is my dear picture-perfect third circle IceWing. born and raised under the pressure and expectations of the traditional IceWing aristocracy while sworn to secrecy regarding their mother's tryst with a RainWing, they act much colder than even their perpetual-stick-up-the-ass peers and refuse to show any vulnerability or weakness. as it stands, their RainWing traits are subtle enough to be hidden or passed off as body modifications, particularly since they've never been in suitable-enough conditions to let their colors change properly. their life is an endless cycle of overcompensating for being born to an affair with the "least respectable" tribe and pretending they are above trivial things such as joy and companionship

Bleak was conceived on Pyrrhia's mainland by a rogue NightWing-IceWing couple and hatched under one moon to no one. they didn't have to raise themself, though -- they were soon found by a sand/sea animus who took them in and cared for them as their own. their mentor/parental figure turned out to be a scientist who ran (mostly) harmless and (not really) ethical experiments using their magic, and once bleak was old enough, they were allowed to assist to a degree, primarily through fieldwork and going off to explore and do recon. they have a particular propensity for combat, and will challenge just about anyone they meet to a spar with little to no regard for right time or right place. their foresight manifests in the form of knowing what will happen in the next few seconds, so most of the time, they are effectively living a little bit in the future.

Terminus comes into the picture much later than Bleak and Apex do. enchanted as an egg by a mysterious, unknown animus, he hatched with no fire, utterly unparalleled strength and speed, and a mother who didn't particularly care for having a child. he received no education up until his mother's decision to make an attempt at being rid of him by burning him to a crisp, after which he was left charred and scarred all over and still received no education. a few years later, he made the decision to leave, and made the flight overseas from the NightWing kingdom to the mainland in just about two minutes. he crash landed in the woods near what he would later learn were the SkyWing kingdom's mountains, and was found + taken in by a guard.

they're friendses. it's a bit of a bumpy road but they become friendses eventually.
