Watch out! -she shouted from the window at the male walking by the sidewalk as one of the flower pots fell down while she was cleaning-

(/ max was a tad unprepared for this one-- for a moment he had his dark expression on, as he wasn't in his shoes to be the deceiver he actually was at that moment; as the pots crashed onto his feet, he turns his head to the side upon hearing a voice, almost snapping-- then, he luckily managed to contain himself, letting out a sigh, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth just in the nick of time ) ... You be careful. Need help? (/ he asked, but was already bending down to pick up the pieces of the broken clay )

I like drinking coffee alone, and reading alone.

I like riding the bus  alone, and walking home alone. It gives me time to think, and set my mind free.

I like eating alone, and listening to music alone.

But when I see a mother with her child, a girl with her lover, or a friend laughing with their best friend, I realize that even though I like being alone, I don’t fancy being lonely. The sky is beautiful, but the people are sad. I just need someone who won’t run away.

You liked pink that much, hm. (/ he nods, as if in understanding, but then pauses; he was actually giving much thought when he was asked on the color that makes him particularly happy ) ... Hm. (/ he shifts the lollipop onto the other side of his mouth, shrugging ) I don't think there is. I guess I'm not that sentimental of a person.

Well, it does really make me happy. -grins sheepishly- Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been like this. Like, I won’t take medicine unless it’s pink. -shrugs- Does any color make you happy?

(/ max looked over at the girl much smaller than he, before treading along the sidewalk with the expectation that she was following after him ) Since you're new to the neighborhood, (/ the man mused, looking skyward for a few moments before he turned his head to look at his companion ) I suppose that you haven't made much friends yet? Or are you the extroverted type?

Pink? (/ he laughs, then holds the lollipop by its handle, pulling it out for him to eye the color ) I suppose it's nice... but it's not exactly my most favorite of colors. (/ max nodded slowly, sliding the lollipop back into his mouth ) What about you; does the color pink make you particularly happy?
