Top 4 Body Mousse Hacks

Body Mousse, so much more than lotion. Here are 5 great uses you may not have realized. 

All these hacks refer to real Body Mousse (also called Body Butter) that is water, preservative and beeswax FREE. Always check the ingredient labels before purchasing moisturizers.

1. Hair Mask

Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil are all individually touted for hair care, so it stands to reason a combination of all of them will do wonders for dry hair. I also use Rice Bran Oil in my products because it is packed full of vitamin E. Apply to wet or dry hair, and leave in for couple hours before rinsing it out, or leave on overnight with a shower cap for an even deeper conditioning.

2. Sunburn care

Rich butters and oils are just what you need to prevent peeling and offer relief from a sunburn. It's best to use right after a shower on towel dried skin to lock in moisture.  Body Mousse draws moisture from the air and directs it into your skin, and it is thick and long lasting, so you only need to apply a couple times a day to be effective. It should also be used right after tanning to prevent the parched leather look that so often happens to frequent tanners.

3. Nipple Care for Nursing Moms

Yet another perfect use for a thick long lasting preservative free moisturizer. Apply after nursing, and wipe with a warm towel before your next feeding. Unscented Body Mousse works best because there are no essential oils in it to worry about.

5. Tattoo care      This one should have been a no brainer to me, but it was my cousin who figured it out. After his last tattoo he used my body mousse in lieu of A&D ointment and loved it! It not only works better but there is no Lanolin(animal product) or Petrolatum(distilled from crude oil). So it's a vegan as well as chemical free alternative.
