Day 9! Together

Oops! Tripped and drew them

also screw the order of the prompts I do what I want WHEN I want (I have 'Shadows' sketched out but I don't want to do itttttt, same with 'Memory')

Probably gonna end up drawing all the prompts across the summer because I'm slow asf. Anyway, take the boys.

RAHHHH ok ok ok I really want to go to bed so I won't say much but I'll finish typing out what I've got.

So far, the daycare closes around 7pm for everyday guests, certain memberships will have different perks and employees can even leave their children there during their shifts, and if their shifts go past 7 pm then just one of the attendants will take over blah blah blah.

Past 7pm Sun and Moon swap out, one going to take rounds and the other watching the children (if there are any). During the Raves and parties, they're multipurpose. Sun loves handing out snacks and drinks (he has a chip scanner in his palm!! So when he grabs people's fazwatches or cards it can charge depending.) Moon usually acts as both a waiter and security.

Sun and Moon are NOT the only waiters/security. There are staff bots everywhere, and Sun and Moon are only really for public attention and appeal. Sure you get to see the Glamrocks and have the time of your life at a rave... but you also get to get a photo and have a conversation with the beloved daycare attendants?? You bet people will come for that.

They don't appear at all of the shows, but they'll be there for a good amount. They do not (usually) perform on stage.

Sun and Moon were almost scrapped due to their AIs jumbling together, but Parts + Service (P+S) figured that if they separated the code enough, that it would eventually sort itself out. It did not!!! They are not ok!!!

Say you take two containers of marbles and mix them together. You can eventually pick them out, right? It may take a second but it works. Now say you have blue and orange marbles in a pile, and then you pour two types of sand on it, blue and orange again. All the blue, marbles and sand, is Moon, and all the orange is Sun. You can sort the marbles out just fine, but that sand is near impossible to fully separate.

As such, they've mixed in little ways.

Sun is equally as aggressive as Moon, and Sun's crippling anxiety got spread over both of them. They did get separated in the remodeling and remaking of them, causing for a lot of.. adjusting. They can't charge alone. It scares them. One would sit with the other while they charge, but their batteries suffered until management made the cords longer to allow them to 'sleep' right by eachother. Their internal monologues are connected, they say their heads are 'too quiet' without the other.

I remember being obsessed with these guys when I was like 14, and I still remember the characterizations I had given them. Keep in mind the art above is not terribly accurate!!! It was a bit rushed.

Anyway, if anyone would be interested in a dca reader fic (Same style as my other Fic) I'd honestly write it. It'd probably be up to interpretation whether you want it to be romantic or platonic (IF I ended up writing it). I'd have a basic plot in mind, but it'd mostly be centric around just watching their shenanigans. That, and finding burnt antique robots with ungodly resolve.

Secret of the Mimic (THIS INCLUDES SPOILERS-ISH) when applied to Security Update

Ok I need to write this out before I go insane, but this idea came to me in a flash and I think I want to follow through with it.

FOLLOW BELOW TO HEAR MY PLEA OF LORE (+A bit of ranting)

The Security Update au is actually not named due to Security Breach entirely. It's named after the Security Puppet, as Charlotte does not possess it, but her aunt Anna does. Whole story, if you look at the pages in the back of this one you can get a good feel for what happened.

I absolutely despise Edwin the more I watch of SOTM. This rebrand by Steel Wool is such the vibes of "erm aschuklalyllylyy edwin is the smartest and the coolest and had the best technological advancements (EVEN THOUGH HENRY AND WILLIAM WERE GREAT INVENTORS OF THEIR TIME), and erm erm erm acuhkshtaly edwin made everything and William and Henry are idiots and didn't even make the springlocks" like stfu

I have been obsessed with Fnaf since I was Eight Years Old. This is not only my childhood that I'm watching get uprooted but the entire just EVERYTHING we thought about. The whole "erm the mimic is akschctually the main villian and wayyyyy worse than William."

Ok I'm in a debate on how I'd include McM. Maybe I'd have Henry be related to Edwin and he works on the Company WITH Edwin using his knowledge of robotics?? Maybe I set SOTM after Fnaf 1, in around 2000 or 97. Then it becomes something Henry works on with Edwin? Or say McM starts the animatronic business but it's the Cousins Henry Emily and Edwin Murray, they begin creating the animatronic ideas and stuff, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I'M NOT IGNORING?? THE MEDIOCRE MELODIES. Those were theorized to have been created by Henry before him and William came together, and Chica was supposedly going to be one of them. Maybe Henry and Edwin worked together on creating these animatronics and got in contact with William because of William's wish to rebuild Fredbear's brand (which was APPARENTLY MADE BY EDWIN'S DAD??? This story is killing me. I genuinely rage quit on Fuhnaff's stream. This is the death of my life I tell you).

I love the concept of sotm, same as I loved the concept of sb. But I hate both of the games. Security Breach had bland storytelling, infinite possibilities with the dorkiest one chosen, Chica's design was my least favorite, Gator golf was butchered, Mazercise was cheesy asf and I hated it. Not only did Security breach suck as a game but the story itself was terrible. A lot of the original fnaf was something I fell in love with because of the poetic story brought about. The whole REASON I started this au was to make a story (while of course tainted by my hand) that I would actually enjoy. I love the og fnaf, and I don't want to be one of those toxic fans being like "tHe LoRe Is RuInEd bY sEcUrItY bReAcH" because I honestly don't think that. Security Breach was bad, but Ruin and hw2 were absolutely amazing. I was so excited to see where they went. Sotm has absolutely killed my love for that though. This "New concept" doesn't follow what we had, and it feels like a reboot. Let it be known that Fnaf is NOT POPPY PLAYTIME. And THAT'S OK. This just felt like they're trying to be like every other game on the market. I love Poppy playtime, but it has its place, and that is NOT IN FNAF. The playstyle, the cardboard cutouts, the tapes not-so-well hidden, this literally feels like Poppyplaytime, just badly made to look like FNAF.

I'm intensely angry. We've had DC ruined, Marvel ruined, Miraculous ladybug (don't even get me started on what they did to chat noir. I'm so pissy about Ladynoir getting ruined. I know this is a fnaf blog but EUGH), and so many more. Where is the love of the craft?? And I don't mean graphics, or animation, or character design, or just horror. I mean story. These stories lack it. I love Glamrock Freddy so much as a character, and all of the possibilities of him are amazing. I love the other glamrocks too, but there is nothing behind them. Henry had one good speech and William became a peanut head. (Jokes)

But seriously. Fnaf has the beauty of a story that could have made so many more stories. Sure Scott messed up with the story a couple times, and elements were a bit stretched (or were mpreg springtrap), but he had a story. I want to keep this story and I want to make it something more. Sure the bite was tragic, but what if it was worse? William was incredibly jealous of Henry, yet also praising him incredibly, so how do you expand on this? Ask why? What if Henry was his idol? Say I do go with Henry and Edwin owning McM together, then this makes it so William would have come into this knowing this man was on such a higher standing than him, had so much skill and wanted to learn, to improve, to be better. Better than Henry. This could also add to the Skinned Teeth story, being as it could be an introduction for all of the characters to come together. Say Emilia was Henry's secretary or worked with him in some way, old friends. But William wants everything Henry has, so he convinces Emilia to transfer to his departement, and Henry, seeing no issue with his friend (Emilia) wanting to see more of the company, approves this transfer. William aggressively flirting and pulling his narcissistic little tricks (oops love bombimg-pulling back-love bombing-pulling back, starve them for attention and make them feel like they should look up to you and want your affections at every second and it may work) They get married in less than a year. Henry is the best man.

This would also allow for Edwin to be in the story, but I am NOT having him be this center of everything like he is in sotm. He is a business man wanting in on the world of engineering, and learning from his best friend-cousin guy, Henry. Henry acts like an older brother, and Edwin learns. Edwin manages finances and business everything and Henry makes their vision come to life.

YOU KNOW WHAT. I LIKE THIS. I like this a lot. I'll just beat sotm to tiny little pieces and pick the ones I like.

This would, in turn, allow for me to possibly change the lore in ways, such as the time and setting for the Pizzaplex, bleh bleh bleh. This would ALSO allow for the high tech stuff of the games to be the way I want it to.

I'd be able to change the Fnaf 1 animatronics in their designs to apply more with the style of the suits in sotm, or make my OWN style. (Which by the way, those suits aren't even FNAF style in sotm, bsffrrn.) What is it with Steel Wool trying to be like every other franchise when they make FNAF. omfggggggggg

I could set McM in 1990 something, post fnaf one, and that'd be moreso in the middle of the Skinned Teeth storyline, making it so Emilia is already Springlocked, so she'd appear as Ballora, or I could set it pre-1980, so a prequel to the entire story.

Heck, I could split it up. Henry starts out at McM with Edwin, moves to start Fredbear's with William, but William is mostly managing it. But this would be tricky as CC (Eli) does die in the bite, also, as well, Circus Baby's Pizza World (CBPW) has to happen before 1983, and even more, before 1976, because that's when CC is born and he does not grow up with William as his father, and so Emilia and William have to divorce before CC is born. I've been debating about CC being Henry's child, and I may have said that earlier in my posts, but I think I'm going to change that. I'd like more that William THINKS that Eli (CC) is Henry's son (because Emilia goes to live with Henry after her and William's Divorce, to which she got custody of Michael (only alive child)) Or heck, even just to avoid the courts again, Emilia could've lied on Eli's birth certificate and said that Henry IS the father. I don't want Emilia and Henry to fall in love very quickly, or much for a while. She's broken, she needs time to heal, and the expectations of another person (though they didn't put it on her, she's afraid they will and reacts that way) scare her intensely. She just got out of an intensely abusive relationship lasting around 8 years, she's not going to throw herself into another relationship. Henry still mourning his dead wife and sister (Anna, puppet lady, is killed around 81, and Henry's wife dies in childbirth), isn't exactly looking for a smooch. It takes like, 10 years? It's either after she gets ballora-ified, or just before. Ough so many ideas. Anyway that was a really long tangent. This whole post is a tangent.

AS I WAS SAYING IF I SPLIT IT UP, and use my proof as of before-- I could get all I want, and say McM is in a bit of a struggling spot because of one of their daughter companies, Freddy's, is failing so miserably, even after all the money put into it. This way I get all that I want, and when I add the mimic in, it could have a company to bring back that isn't Faz.E.

Also the mimic is NOT getting made in the 70s. Be. so. ffrrn. If Freddy's was "innovative" as of the 80s, and was the best tech they had.. What makes you think. That this endo. Would be perfectly fine.

Let's be real. Sotm could've been set in place ANYWHERE in that 30. YEAR. GAP. BETWEEN FNAF 1 AND FNAF 3. AUGHHHHHHHH. I hate the whole "Erm achsuhalkly the mimic was the villian the whole time." Shut. Up. Stfu.

When you think of the VILLIAN of Fnaf you don't think "omg yes the so iconic Mimic that I think about all the time." You think of WILLIAM. FURRY BOY. PEE PAW WILLY. AFTON.

THIS WRITING. IS KILLING ME. When you are making new lore, you do NOT destroy what was there previously. You build off of what we had and you don't mess with the lore we spend ELEVEN YEARS making.

Geez ok I'm mad. Lowkey out here feeling betrayed by a company that's only in it for money. Do the story and the fandom some justice, Steel Wool, come on.

also a little worried because I haven't actually finished watching the game (as I said, I rage quit), and I started writing this to cope. ANWAY!!! I know nobody is actually going to read this but I think I still had a decent time writing it.

Day 7 - Possession

Couldn't pick rain or no rain so I chose both. Technically had this 50% done as a wip but it fit the prompt so I did itttttt

rahhH!! Skinned Teeth!!! I love this story so baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Slice of life turned straight into psychological horror in a chapter.

Anyhow, I'd write lore, but that'd be too nice and I'd have to stay up later, and I want to sleep. Maybe when I draw them again I'll add more about them!!!! Ballora/Emilia Afton(Maiden name Schmidt) and Henry Emily. They're so tragic. ough. yes I need them to kiss thank you for asking.

I'll include the writing snippet below that had inspired the story itself. Trigger warning for minor violence(?), body dysmorphia, uhmmm generally just sadness. Not my best writing and it was written in one go so it's got a bit of a weird taste to it, but I figured I'd share with the class if anyone is interested. I hate saying names in stories, it feels weird and interrupts my flow. So for context, "she" is Emilia Schmidt/Ballora after getting springlocked by William within Ballora, and "he" is Henry, this is a couple weeks after finding her once she'd escaped (going over how that'd work), and after she spirals. For context, the above picture is of when he first finds her after everything. blah blah blah blah. Enjoy!

Looping time spent in song and dance, the same steps memorized, the song burned into her mind. She’d long resorted to closing her eyes, hoping to find solace in sleep.

To sleep was to be alive.

Oh, to be alive. She longed to be such. Though she spun and sang with laughter in her steel throat, and her eyes blinked with the sparkle of being, she did not fit. Her reflection was enough to prove so.

A monster.

A creature.

A machine.

The way her fingers clicked on the sink, sounding as steel does upon the granite. A metallic ting she’d never escape. Nothing was the same. She did not know these eyes, nor the body that held her anger. 

She could feel the slow hand up and down her back, a comforting sensation amongst the mental anguish.

But she couldn’t look away from the demon in the mirror. 

In the dark, she could forget, relive memories, and pretend it was all as she wanted. She didn’t have to see these blackened eyes or pale skin. She could forget how her face separated when she was startled, and the horrors beneath it.

She could forget.

And how she wished to now. To be scared of her appearance.

All the nights of whispers in her ear, reassurances of beauty and love, meant nothing when she couldn’t recognize her own hands. She couldn’t feel the fur of her favorite coat, nor did it fit the same.

The stagnant hair had clung to her head for too long, but it was all she had.

It would never grow, it would never change.

Fragmented reflections weren’t any better, only more of a beast. The glass fell with her to the ground.

Someone was holding her up.

It was him.

His face was buried in her hair, and hers in his chest. She could see the blood leaking down from his pierced skin. How she wished to feel a pain like that. Unblinking eyes, yet she still couldn’t see just right.

A touch like this hadn’t graced her in years. Or was it decades? The silent years of the bunker had warped her mind several times over.

He was shaking. She could hear his tears more than feel them, a gentle tap on her silvery cheek.

“ –so sorry– I’m so– fuck…”

She couldn’t bring her arms to embrace him back, but she managed a voice.

“I know.”

Day 6 - Mimic!

In honor of Secret of the Mimic being out. Watching Fuhnaff's stream right now!! Really unhappy with what it implies!! Don't know how much I want to apply it to the lore, even as the Mimic is a MAJOR plot point, but I'll work around it once I know the whole story.

I really like the game, genuinely, kinda hating Edwin though.

As for the piece, I do like it, and I'll have to redraw it when I'm not bound by time, because it could've been very nice. (lowkey giving Bill Cypher but he's cool so it's fine)

Lore below!!

Ok so despite how it looks that is the Mimic. When altering Ruin and SB, the Mimic gets out from the security nodes being taken down by Freddy and Gregory instead (Mimic virus being part of it, altering their perception). With the virus infecting the other animatronics, though, since they are not possessed, they turn animalistic instead of being made to be brainwashed/tricked like Gregory and Freddy. Freddy is possessed, Gregory is just a human child (noooot following robot Gregory theory. Do I believe it in canon? Mostly. Do I want it here? No.)

Anyway so the Mimic escaped right at the BEGINNING of Ruin, and all the animatronics are basically left to rot. The Mimic is obsessed with William Afton, as such with the Glitchtrap shabang. Though, he doesn't move out of his obsession like in the canon, and it instead goes deeper. Mimic believes his only function is to become William, but better.

As such, he's learned everything he could over the last 50 years (from 1980 on toward 2020, but Ruin occurs around 2030-ish, so then between Ruin and the rebuilding is about 10-ish years.

MAAAJOR spoiler, but I have to share lest I go insane. I have a plan for the Mimic to recreate itself as a mix between William and Henry (cue to the image above). He calls himself Bill Emily.

How did the Mimic get all this money to rebuilt this huge pizzaplex? Glad you asked! He stole it.

Killed a lot of people.

Not a good character!!

So far it's planned that he doesn't even remember who most of the people are, but he did it in the name of "art". He is still very much a villian, don't worry my friends!

Anyway he looks lifeless above BECAUSE his skin is artificial skin, not using the illusion discs (I kinda hate the illusion disks as a narrative aspect within my story if I'm real, I find them a bit of a cop-out and don't want to add them, they're fine in the og lore though, don't get me wrong)

Also usinng the artificial skin/hair as a way so then he can apply his 'research' to the glamrocks. Mimic sees the glamrocks as his perfect project, their original AIs being "too precious", and eventually ending up with the near same characters, flaws and all. This includes Freddy, who was living with Vanessa and Gregory at the time.

The Mimic ends up "capturing" all his perfect pieces, to which he begins to "put them back together." Bonnie was "too broken" in both his endo, casing, and AI, leading to an entire rebuilding. Call me evil but I don't believe I'll have a pre-revival foxy, not even in the log ride. Stiiiiiill debating, we'll see.

Maaaayyyy be adding secret of the mimic to the lore, still deciding! I do like a lot of it that's there but I don't know how much I'd like the implications of it. Definitely adding Edwin Murray, and may have him be a part of the mimic's obsession, or may not even be dead (debatably so, he may be like 80 though).

Could make a trio? Maybe?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh I have so much to do, so much to think, so much to debate. Originally Henry was going to be a villian WITH William, but I loved the story of Skinned Teeth so much I couldn't bear to part with it, even for just one au. Anyway that's all my brainrot for this post, I'll post more today if I can.

Day 5!!! Prompt - Five

Technically there's six but the twins count for Golden... so 5 animatronics?

Not my best vision for a piece and definitely not my best execution, but I'm a week behind (oops! Life hits hard what can I say)

Not my best work but we continue!! Maybe I'll redraw it someday, wasn't feeling too hot with the background and didn't really enjoy drawing the characters too much, but it was decent overall haha.

So I changed things around a bit to see what I like. Andrew IS in this AU (a character from the stitchwraith(did I spell that right?) which clued us into how Golden Freddy functions) and he's the twin brother of Cassidy. He takes the form of the vengeful spirit while Cassidy will resemble more of Charlie's role (sorta forgiving, protector, but not giver of life, that stays with the puppet.) Andrew and Cassidy were killed within moments of each other, still deciding how (debating on going with the springlock theory or not).

Anyway, Gabriel takes the spot as the oldest of the group, around 14. Jeremy is 8, Fritz 7, and Susie 5. Andrew and Cassidy hang around 12-ish.

A lot of their story is driven by Andrew, Cassidy, and Gabriel. (Bear trio yay!) They try to make plans, finding ways to free themselves, and 'get to heaven', but nothing truly works. They try killing night guards to see if their murderer is one, but they can't tell who it is (due to the spring bonnie suit), and all it results in is a bunch of children with blood on their hands. The youngest 3 truly don't understand. All they do is follow the orders from the "big kids". Blah blah blah story details, there's a lot of dialogue of them just talking. I mean, it's all they can do. Sometimes Gabriel will figure out one of the TVs and manage to turn on cartoons for them to watch, and they've even managed hide and seek a couple times.

Anyway they find CC's soul in the Fredbear plush. Don't know if I brought something like this up before, because I may have accidentally lied, but this was a detail I put in. CC actually dies during the bite of 83' with the plushy in his arms, and paired with the agony infused into it during FNAF 4, he latches onto it instead of onto Fredbear. Add in his reality altering abilities (as proved by the survival logbook text being altered and blah blah blah, watch God Victim theory, it has some points I use here). As I said, they find the plush with CC's soul. (His name is Eli in this universe, named after Elizabeth because he was born post Elizabeth's death. Times are changed around a LOT) They talk to CC, he's sobbing like 24/7, somehow they come to the conclusion about the happiest day thing, and they send Cassidy in (she wanted to) somehow??? Once they learn happiest day they manage to use it(?) on everyone, not exactly the most peak storytelling, I know, but I'm working around it. I still need to actually read the stitchwraith (can't spell wahhh)

And they find heaven.

Andrew stays. He wants revenge. He needs someone to suffer for their actions. And Cassidy can't leave until he does. "Once we find him." He says, "Once he's suffered."

He didn't truly know how long that would take.

Day 5!!! Prompt - Five

Technically there's six but the twins count for Golden... so 5 animatronics?

Not my best vision for a piece and definitely not my best execution, but I'm a week behind (oops! Life hits hard what can I say)

Not my best work but we continue!! Maybe I'll redraw it someday, wasn't feeling too hot with the background and didn't really enjoy drawing the characters too much, but it was decent overall haha.

So I changed things around a bit to see what I like. Andrew IS in this AU (a character from the stitchwraith(did I spell that right?) which clued us into how Golden Freddy functions) and he's the twin brother of Cassidy. He takes the form of the vengeful spirit while Cassidy will resemble more of Charlie's role (sorta forgiving, protector, but not giver of life, that stays with the puppet.) Andrew and Cassidy were killed within moments of each other, still deciding how (debating on going with the springlock theory or not).

Anyway, Gabriel takes the spot as the oldest of the group, around 14. Jeremy is 8, Fritz 7, and Susie 5. Andrew and Cassidy hang around 12-ish.

A lot of their story is driven by Andrew, Cassidy, and Gabriel. (Bear trio yay!) They try to make plans, finding ways to free themselves, and 'get to heaven', but nothing truly works. They try killing night guards to see if their murderer is one, but they can't tell who it is (due to the spring bonnie suit), and all it results in is a bunch of children with blood on their hands. The youngest 3 truly don't understand. All they do is follow the orders from the "big kids". Blah blah blah story details, there's a lot of dialogue of them just talking. I mean, it's all they can do. Sometimes Gabriel will figure out one of the TVs and manage to turn on cartoons for them to watch, and they've even managed hide and seek a couple times.

Anyway they find CC's soul in the Fredbear plush. Don't know if I brought something like this up before, because I may have accidentally lied, but this was a detail I put in. CC actually dies during the bite of 83' with the plushy in his arms, and paired with the agony infused into it during FNAF 4, he latches onto it instead of onto Fredbear. Add in his reality altering abilities (as proved by the survival logbook text being altered and blah blah blah, watch God Victim theory, it has some points I use here). As I said, they find the plush with CC's soul. (His name is Eli in this universe, named after Elizabeth because he was born post Elizabeth's death. Times are changed around a LOT) They talk to CC, he's sobbing like 24/7, somehow they come to the conclusion about the happiest day thing, and they send Cassidy in (she wanted to) somehow??? Augh!!! I'm telling you I had this ready by 12:55, but Tumblr took forever processing the file and killed my time. Sorry, I know it's late haha but I suppose you will survive.

Anywho, I tried out animation for the first-ish time. I've done a little here and there but nothing significant or actually decent. I really do enjoy the first 2 sections (enough), though I will admit the latter half is lacking. That's what I get for spending too much time on one part haha.

Woop woop! Day 2 update

So I got a bit carried away and so day 2 + 3 will be grouped together, making it 4 prompts overall. So far animating a little something something, not very big I am just very slow. Also had to figure out Krita again and that wasn't very fun. Slowed me down a lot.

The prompts for today were
