Happy Father’s Day! I like to thank my father for always supporting me, especially @sinmarbycindy ❤️ I started my business a few months ago & during that time I’ve had amazing support from friends. Unfortunately I’ve also received a lot of criticism from close family members who say why am I doing this, why are you wasting your time, you already have a job, estás ahí vendiendo porquerías (shitty trinkets). For those of us grew up in homes & environments with constant criticism and berating, it’s hard to believe in yourself when no one else does. My father has always stood by my side, even when he didn’t understand or agree with what I was doing. He was there to see me succeed & there to help me if I failed. I’m eternally grateful for this man!!!! I also think he looks great rocking my Galaxy Necklace that he picked!!! We don’t know how long we have in this world. While we are here, remember to be grateful for all the people in your life, as everyone brings us lessons to learn from. Today there was a terrible accident in front of my house where 2 people died on a moped. I was busy teaching remotely until I heard the painful cries of the family members. I went outside and saw the body of one of their loved ones. I can’t imagine the pain they must feel right now losing two loved ones. My heart goes out to them and I pray for them and their families. It also reminds me to be grateful for those I live in community with: family, friends, coworkers, and everyone I come into contact with. Life can seem long but it can end in a second. Love and hug those near you. Call people and them tell how much you care about them. Remember to do this not just today but always as every interaction matters.
