I posted this picture a while back. It was a first attempt at a #semirealistic #painterly style done digitally. I really fun to do! I enjoyed the #progress I made. I especially love the way the ear came out. Come to think of it, when I took an “art class”, I could never do the value shading for the ears we had to do.

I got bored and decided to draw my cats as humans. Honestly, this matches their personalities to the tee. Charlie (AKA King Charles) is our oldest. He’s a year and four months. We found him abandoned by his mother at 3 weeks. He was by a dumpster on a cold misty December night. He had an eye infection, worms and abandonedment issues. We nursed him back to health. Charlie became very aggressive and had been until we got Bingley. We got Bingley two weeks before Charlie’s birthday. He was just over 8 weeks. Charlie’s attitude changed dramatically and now he is less aggressive and loves being petted.
