Scores of hysterical teenage girls collapsed and three were taken to hospital during a pop music concert at the Hordern Pavilion, Sydney Showground. Police reinforcements were called in when the crowd of 7000 looked like getting out of control. Australian pop and underground groups including Tamam Shud, Velvet Underground, Heart 'n' Soul, Master's Apprentices, Flying Circus, The dave Miller Set along with Russell Morris and Ronnie Burns entertained the crowd, June 8, 1969.
