birthday post!

I like bugs and small critters, so here's Andrei liking bugs and small critters because I like projecting my interests onto my favourite characters, and i think growing up in Australia hardened him to some point. And it matches his energy, especially when he was a kid.

He is running around the garden his parents have, looking closely at every single flower his mother planted so he doesn't miss any bee or butterfly. He watches the bumblebees sit on the petals and occasionally gently tabs them on their fluffy back with the tip of his finger so they hum angrily and then fly away. But he always keeps a save distance to the wasps (a friend of his once got stung, since then he's scared of them).

He sits on the ground and watches any kind of spider walk past him. He knows which to touch and which not. He likes the big ones that always make nets on their poach. And he's also befriended a few trembling spiders in his room so he doesn't get eaten alive by the mosquitos in summer.

When it rains, he digs through the dirt to find worms, which he puts in a glass, proudly showed them to whoever was available at the moment, and release them again. After every rain shower, he would make sure no snails and slugs were in the driveway so they wouldn't get run over.

He has a few small terrariums in his room where he keeps grasshoppers or shiny beatles he finds pretty and has given each names. When he was a bit older, he had a female orchid mantis. He took good care of her, and she lived around a year and a half, and Andrei was really sad when she died. He still remembers her.

He likes all animals, but the smaller ones were always his favourites, even now.

this also goes very well with my headcanon of him being either vegetarian or vegan.

AAAAAHHH I never really wrote anything related to kids/parenthood.. also was a huge believer that Makarov would absolutely avoid being a father (due to his own) but after seeing your writing... 👀

I think he'd be wary of it at first. Almost scared, to the point of being insane. At some point Nolan has to grab him by the shoulders and relax him, tell him it's not that serious and they'll be fine, they'll manage together. Makarov was probably thinking of every possible scenario and setting up several safe houses in places not even they could think of. He's going to calculate every step and make sure his kids won't live the same tragic childhood as him.

I don't know how he'd be as a father... Maybe a bit more cold and disciplined towards them than Nolan is? That is not to say Nolan goes easy, but y'know. Maybe a bit more softer towards them than Makarov. Maybe Makarov eases into it as time goes on and they grow older, seeing first hand that it's working out and he doesn't have to be so paranoid all the time. I believe he has a lot to unlearn as a person and parenthood will definitely show him that. There'd be ups and downs for sure.

Would Makarov have "maternal" instincts towards his own? Feelings that he's not used to, feelings that scare him, but deep down he feels it so raw, so real. The need to protect and look after, maybe...

Nolan never imagined himself as the type to be a family man either, but with Makarov he's ready to give it his all. I think he's chill around kids, can even be playful at times despite what one would think of him. He is big and scary after all, but the kids adore him.

He'd train them while Makarov watches over, giving them his approval, and Nolan wouldn't hold back either. He's gotta prepare them for everything. The world is not safe for any of them just yet, and he will make sure they go prepared. It's probably why they have such strong connections to each other, Makarov and Nolan made sure they were raised that way. Sort of like a "us versus them" type of thing. Is it the most healthy mindset to raise a kid with? Probably not. But it helps them survive, so. They're tough kids, will grow up into even tougher people. Making Konni stronger, contributing to their cause, backing up Makarov in all aspects..

It's nice to think about everything working out, but I wonder what kind of problems they'd face. A kid being in danger, or one of them "questioning" too hard, having different views even... Would Makarov kill his own if it came to it? I think he'd already calculate for it, making sure they're raised exactly the way he wants them to. Brainwashing of some sorts. On par with being raised with conservative parents ahahaha but you can always come back from it y'know? So maybe when they're adults, one of them starts drifting away............. What'd happen I wonder.. 😳

Sorry this is more of a random ramble than headcanons, but I enjoyed thinking about it. Always happy to see more of your writing also :3

Makanolan’s oldest child being the spilling imagine of Makarov. Same hair, same eyes, same face and body structure. Like a clone.

it freaks everyone out until the notice that out of six kids four look like papa (Mak) and two look like dad (Nolan). Subsequently, the two that don’t resemble their papa as much end up being public figures.

The funniest thing (In Makarov’s eyes anyways) happens when their youngest who was a recently elected Prime Minister had a talk with the CIA, one Kate Laswell included. The whole time she was just squinting at them trying to discern why they looked so familiar yet different at the same time. It wasn’t until they smiled and had those god damn dimples that it clicked that this person probably had familial Konni ties.

The Konni and every other military group is left to deal with four mini Makarov’s who all have Nolan’s unhinged-ness and physical strength. And two Nolan-esque girls who suspiciously don’t have the Makarov-Nolan last name…

Nolan as Captain of the 141, Price as the Captain of the Konni. Everything else stays the same.

Price who was once close with Kate and Nikolai. Who blinded himself with devotion and rage. Who takes no orders other than Makarov’s. Who, once captured, laughs and asks Kate how long it’s been, as if nothing had happened at all.

Nolan who can’t comprehend what such a high yielding ex military officer saw in terrorism. Who feels too young yet too jagged for his role but leads it as best he can. Who mourns every fallen man.

Psych ward au? Nolan is the deranged patient who believe he and his main doctor (Makarov) are married and have a family, he’s not bordering on insanity, he’s genuinely insane.

He’s killed and injured more doctors than anyone would dare admit, has to be constantly physically restrained.

Makarov is the director of the ward who’s proudly felt with many deranged cases. This one genuinely makes him feel unsafe.

Nolan scaring the shit out of Makarov by just existing.

Can see him smiling sweetly and then lunging towards him and laughing hysterically when he pulls away. Continuing to chat innocently with him like he didn't just try to attack him.

Probably obsessed with him to the point of being deadly possessive. If he sees another doctor or nurse talking with him? Well there's a few less staff members to pay-

Makarov doesn't like being in the same room with him, not without someone there. But he knows not to leave anyone who he was with alone with Nolan after. Otherwise, that bastard will find a way to break out of his restraints.

It's gotten to the point where Nolan will somehow find ways to escape and track him down. Makarov wakes up at his home to find a bloody Nolan standing near the wall with a smile and a wave.. a body laying on the floor.

Brought to him like a feral cat bringing a dead mouse to their person.

I’m usually a Makarov/Konni character writer, so I don’t write much 141…however I do think about them.

Thoughts on tf141 with Nolan’s brother! Reader. Reader who used to look up to his older brother and now works against him? Who needs the comfort of his team all the time to remind him that he is more than his brother.

Oooooo, time for a challenge!

(If I get anything wrong about Nolan it's bc I haven't watched MW 3 due to Soaps death, and as such am grabbing my knowledge from a wiki, so just be warned :P)

You often had really hard days, especially when you got information about what Konni Group -as subsequently Nolan- was doing. To know that your own blood, your brother, could be such a horrible person. It was easy to spiral about, how different were you two really?

What if you were just as bad as him, and simply lying to yourself about how good you were? The two of you were raised under the same roof, with the same values, and went on to have similar military experiences. And you saw his obsession with going down in history as "great", which your self-deprecating thoughts loved to cling to.

You should have know, you should have stopped him, your thoughts whisper, further chipping at your already heavily damaged self-worth.

And your family name has forever been tainted, despite how proud of it you used to be, ever since you heard the horrible actions he committed, you felt a deep shame in your chest. Enough that you changed your last name, clinging onto the small reassurance that at least you didn't share a name with such a monster.

But sometimes, it's too much. Sometimes the guilt and the "what ifs" pile up and you break down, everything too much to deal with.

The 141 is always there to gently pick you up, bring you to Prices room, keep you in a cuddle pile as you cried, softly reassuring you just how different you and your brother are.

It often takes a while, but eventually, you'll calm down and fall asleep, content in the arms of 4 men who couldn't see any sort of resemblance to Nolan in you.

Price sees a man who wants to do good, there's none of Nolan's obsession with "greatness" in you, simply a desire to make the world better.

Ghost sees a man who's not afraid to be soft, to go against mission orders if it means keeping people safe. None of Nolan's brutality in you.

Gaz sees a man who isn't afraid to question authority, who will call people in power out when they're doing something wrong. None of Nolan's unwavering, unquestioning dedication to Makarov in you.

Soap sees a man who's willing to do everything to save his teammates, no matter what he has to do. None of Nolan's willingness to backstab his teammates at a moments notice in you.

And they're willing to tell you all of this as many times as it takes for you to believe them, because you are so much more than your brother and they are dedicated to making you realize it.

I hear your deranged Andrei, and I offer you Andrei who eliminates all competition. 👀 He has to be Makarov's one and only. His skin crawling with jealousy when Makarov so much as looks at another soldier let alone praises them. If he notices one of them getting even a little bit too close to his komandir he will do something about it. Suddenly they're missing, suddenly they're dead. Whether Andrei does it in secret or in broad daylight depends on his mood and how much he hates the person. Question is, is Makarov aware, or does he mind?

Anon, first of all, welcome to family. Secondly, we both know Makarov knows it and enjoys it. He taunts Andrei for the fun of it, knowing his second physically cannot stand being less than number one in his eyes.

Nolan also has a personal and professional vendetta against the tf141. It makes him see red to even think about someone laying their eyes on his Commander and wishing to harm him. He will have their heads for it.

Also he’s super duper clingy and codependent, he used to be more independent (pre prison break, like before he was Captain) and after that it only spiraled. He finds it hard to sleep alone, if he stays away from Mak for too long he will spiral and hurt himself and others (mostly others). That’s why he’s sometimes kept away before kill-all missions and then let out to rain absolute havoc.

Because I have a need to sleep for fourteen hours a day (I’m on break rn, I have nothing else to do) I’m projecting on my favs ofc :)

Makarov is a medium light sleeper, very messy sleep schedule. He can’t sleep alone, ever. It reminds him too much of his imprisonment, so he and Nolan have been cosleeping for years.

Nolan is a light sleeper, wakes up at anything. He can’t block out white noise but any anomaly is immediately picked up. He hold Makarov likes he’s trying to hide him when they sleep, covers his whole body with his own.

OC sneak: Maxim is a heavy sleeper (like me lmao) he sleeps on any surface, any time he has free. His prepubescent years and early teens when he was still trafficked around taught him to sleep when he could, wherever he could. Though he loves sunbathing and hates being alone in the dark, so he usually sleeps during the day near the windowsill in one of the rec rooms.

I imagine that at one point, late into the party, when Mak is already a bit tipsy (not drunk tho) Nolan scoops her into her arms, carrying her around for the rest of the time.

Nolan also takes off her wife’s shoes so that her feet don’t hurt. She’s just considerate (and definitely not insane)

Thinking about Makarov going to a huge fundraiser gala (to find investors, yk), dressed to the nines in a gorgeous black cocktail dress, Milena next to her and Nolan shadowing them both, dressed in a suit and with her hair freshly cropped.

Milena introducing Makarov and some older rich associates, one of them brought along his sons, one of which was ten years younger than Makarov and also very drunk. He came up to her offering her money to be his wife, getting progressively angrier when she refused.

It got to the point of the older gentleman dragging his son away while apologizing and Nolan plastering herself to her wife’s back while glaring at everyone in the room. Everyone at that party knew it was best for their safety to never ever try and cross the terrorist powercouple that Milena brought around.

Nolan is PISSED.

I mean, how dare he talk to her wife like that. She would've shot that man on the spot if it wasn't (exceptionally) for Makarov, who told her to calm down.

Can't even leave her woman alone for just a second to get drinks or something. Well, now she won't be going anywhere for the rest of their stay.

After that, Nolan makes sure to keep Makarov close while she talks with someone. Make it known that she is already taken. Hold her hand, put an arm around her waist, or just glare at whoever from behind her.

Milena is just standing there, shaking her head as yet another person flees and makes a mental note to approach that one later when she's alone.

I know we love to talk about Makarov being pregnant and that side of having kids.

but I think we should think about those kids, like when they grow up and how they’re raised. Obviously they’re secluded for a long time, for safety. But when the oldest three (yes they have two sets of triplets because I said so) turn sixteen they’re introduced to what their parents do. The younger three get the same treatment a few years later. They all get the option of sticking with the Konni or doing something else.

Four of their six children work for the Konni, all of them have been through basic and having genuinely climbed the ranks, unrelated to their family name. They work in different fields but are still very active.

the other two changed their last names, for their safety at their parent’s insistence, and work in other ways to assist their family. One is a politician and the other owns a big law firm. All six children make sure to have each other and their parents protected.

There’s only so much the task force (and other western influences) can do to stop the combined power of six children with Makarov’s cunning and Nolan’s strength. (And other qualities)

And I'm like, which one I have a laundry list. Anyway, they were talking about Kcd2. Offered to lower the price so I could buy it for my birthday. And I laughed a little and told them I bought it almost a week ago, and they just go

"OH COME ON" threw their hands in the air and went to go out the door, the door didn't open and they ran right into the door.

One more thought (I’m on a roll) about Fem 09 Mak, she’s probably even more groomed by Zakhaev than the og. I know in the original game Yuri introduced them when they were adults but I can imagine her as an older teenager going through it.

I can see it so clearly, Mak sitting on a chair in front of a full length mirror, letting her mentor brush her hair while he talks. “You were made for so much more” he’d say, “Russia needs people like you to fight for its cause” he’d tell her. And she’d believe him.

He’d be the only man she put her trust in, and even that was twisted by her own messed up mental state and glorification of his role. She wouldn’t feel much after his death, maybe fleeting grief before her rage took over once again. Nothing else compares to that burning fire inside of her, the one her mentor carefully cultivated into a world ending ordeal.

If we go with them meeting when Makarov was a teenager, how do we reckon she ended up in that situation in the first place? Failed foster system or maybe abusive parents works I think.

Vladimir who for whatever reason, has to get rid of Andrei… but grants him a small mercy by not killing him, he’s the one man Vladimir has ever actually trusted and he can’t bring himself to pull the trigger. Never tells anyone what he did and Konni all assume Nolan is six feet under

Until their Komandir goes missing because Andrei is a crazy obsessed bastard and physically cannot be without Vladimir and does not care how far he has to go to be with him, and yes, that does include kidnapping him.

In my mind, he’s definitely more mentally ill. No normal person is that loyal. Andrei being let go would absolutely break whatever mental constraints of normalcy he had. All hell can and will break loose.

Andrei is smart, he knows (and loves) the Konni too much to let the whole operation fall apart. He set systems in place for this very reason. Even with their Commander gone, the Konni would continue their rise.

Vladimir going missing wild be a shock but not a stunt in their growth. The Konni would not suffer. Their Commander on the other hand…

If being trapped in your ex-second-in-command’s house with on way to leave and regularly having every thought in your head fucked out didn’t drive someone crazy, it certainly did Vlad. The man was used to being active and working lots, and while he trusted loved Andrei, he couldn’t bear to be so inactive and still.

Whatever sedative Andrei was giving him was working, he could barely think properly and needed help doing basically everything. Andrei was effectively rendering him useless without his help and if Vladimir had the mental capacity to think about it he might’ve been angry. Right now, though, he was just trying to stand on his own to go take a piss. Rather unsuccessful, I might add.

(Un)fortunately, he’s too mind broken to, ehem, think about that right now. Let’s hope (or not) that it doesn’t leave him with permanent mental scarring.

Makanolan omegaverse forcemasc.

Andrei who’s an Alpha but it doesnt show much without being brought out. Vladimir who is a dominant omega, who sees this neutral Alpha with the potential of being feral presenting.

“You’re a bad neutral Andrei, it’s best if you give into the feral u know you are.” Or “The quicker you accept it, the prouder I’ll be” and you know Andrei is a whore for praise and the feeling of making his omega proud.

When eventually (One month, eight days and five hours, Andrei counted) Vladimir does come back to get him, the problem has not gotten that much better.

Andrei almost rips Graves apart when the man tries to get any closer than three meters to Vlad. The mutt is more possessive and will pin Mak down in his den when they get back home.

When he can’t walk straight (or mostly at all) for the next week, Mak concludes that this probably isn’t a good method to deal with Andrei’s possessiveness.

And we’re back to werewolf Andrei because I can’t stop… but I’m throwing Graves into the mix again because I felt like it

Werewolf Andrei who gets far too possessive over Vladimir, basically like separation anxiety in real dogs turned up to the extreme. Vladimirs usual methods to stop him don’t work so he decides to deal with the root of the problem

Unfortunately for Andrei that means being dumped with Graves and left without any warning, which in the werewolf’s opinion, should be considered torture. Graves cannot handle Andrei whatsoever, nor does he know the first thing about looking after them which is only worsened by the fact Andrei is not happy about being away from Vladimir at all.

How long will Vladimir leave him there? Who knows, but it definitely won’t be a short stay for Andrei, how else is a mutt supposed to learn
