the funniest part of death note was when light thought, "The police are spying on me through cameras in my room. I need them to think I'm a normal high school boy." and then he proceeded to read a porn magazine for 5 minutes without cranking his chain. all while laying on his bed like this

Face of Ancient Queen Revealed for First Time
Tumblr media
Some 1,200 years ago, a wealthy noblewoman, at least 60 years old, was laid to rest in Peru—richly provisioned for eternity with jewelry, flasks, and weaving tools made of gold.
Now, more than five years after her tomb was found untouched outside of the coastal town of Huarmey, scientists have reconstructed what she may have looked like.
“When I first saw the reconstruction, I saw some of my indigenous friends from Huarmey in this face,” says National Geographic grantee Miłosz Giersz, the archaeologist who co-discovered the noblewoman’s tomb. “Her genes are still in the place.”
In 2012, Giersz and Peruvian archaeologist Roberto Pimentel Nita discovered the tomb El Castillo de Huarmey. The hillside site was once a large temple complex for the Wari culture, which dominated the region centuries before the more famous Inca. Read more.

you know what. asexual people can experience physical arousal and high libido even without sexual attraction. aromantic people can desire romance even though they lack romantic attraction. people can call themselves asexual even if they've experienced sexual attraction before, if they feel that label best describes their experiences. people can call themselves aromantic if it best describes the way they feel about romance.
most labels are umbrella terms you can use to feel more comfortable in your identity. no one can tell you how you feel and what you've experienced. the dictionary cannot define you and your complex inner world. what feels right to you in that moment, is right. if that label changes later, cool. doesn't mean you were wrong, or faking, it just means you know yourself a little better now. you know yourself better than anyone. don't let that be taken from you.

so in Pride Month of 2022 are we going to continue to do the thing where we go “oh but queer folks who are Old or from Backwards Societies may not know  the Right Terms to use for things so we have to be Understanding of their Deficiencies!” rather than facing up to the fact that these people are living perfectly valid queer lifestyles with their own vocab in their own sandbox and that we don’t have the Keys to the Ultimate Knowledge of which we are the Keepers

your dogs seem very happy please consider adopting instead of shopping, the dogs you love so much are going hungry, mistreated, and euthanized in the hundreds of thousands each year. cosmetics are worth nothing to the dog itself , only to its owner. wish you all the best.
I appreciate your concern. Adopting a dog in need of a home is indeed a nice thing to do. I was in shelter work for a while and my last two dogs were adopted.
Both of them died from (likely genetically inherited) health problems at 6 years old. One of them had severe behavioral problems which affected his quality of life. I am at a point in my experience of owning dogs where I would prefer to avoid having a dog die young from medical problems which could be prevented through careful breeding, and I am also wanting a dog who could potentially compete in sports.
I am sure that I will adopt again in the future. I will probably buy dogs from a breeder again in the future. Dogs dying in shelters is not my fault.
