Hello everyone! We want to thank you all so much for supporting the zine and our creators! We have closed preorders for physical copies but are keeping PDF sales open: Get your digital copies here!

From here on out we are entering the production phase, and we will keep you updated on a weekly basis. There are going to be a lot of moving parts but we are aiming to ship by the end of April – while we’re hoping to ship earlier, our shipping mod’s schedule is a little dicey due to travel around the end of March/early April, and then again in the middle of April. We will do our best to prepare what we can ahead of time, though, so that everything runs as smoothly as possible once we have everything in place!

Without further ado, here’s our weekly update as of February 13, 2019:

Zines: We are working with our printer to get a hardcopy proof printed before we OK the full production. That should be a turnaround of ~2wks, then another ~2wks from approving the proof to production!

Prints: We placed the order for them the other night, expect a hard copy proof in about a week 

Bookmarks: We placed the order along with the prints, and we will also receive a hard copy proof in the same time

Charms: We have just sent the file to our supplier yesterday morning, and are discussing shipping with them. We’re dealing with overseas suppliers so movement might be limited to the evenings, but we’ll be as responsive as we can on our end

Stickers: We’ve already received these! 

The Stretch Goal:

While we fell short of our stretch goal of 150 physical sales, we just couldn’t bear not to share @mapurl‘s gorgeous design with everyone! So, we have decided to repurpose the design into a bonus sticker that everyone who ordered physical zines will get alongside the rest of their order! We’re really pumped we are able to add a little extra for you all! They were ordered yesterday morning!

Could you guys please address concerns with scamming? The head mod of this zine was also the head mod of the bnha hallowzine who just took a bunch of moeny and left the zine and is dodging EVERY question about anything. A lot of people are not alright with supporting this zine anymore and if more people realize that the head mod of this zine and that zine are the same, even more people are going to be upset.

Hey! So first, there are two head mods for this zine. I’m the one who also ran @takemyhandzine which just finished up remnant sales. Not a scam.

Second, the @bnha-hallowzine has yes, been canceled, but it’s not a scam. The mod of that zine who co-mods with me here has been:

Answering every email coming her way regarding the cancelation

Updating the tumblr to keep everyone informed (refunds start today! Everyone’s getting their money back!)

In direct contact with someone within the hallowzine about everything she is doing with proceeding in terms of handling said refunds and other various loose ends

The fallout of the hallowzine has had a lot of contributors making assumptions that it was a scam and spreading that news despite the mod directly stating that she was going to give out refunds to everyone. However, everyone who purchased that zine is getting their money back.

This zine is also not a scam, and will be following through on orders. We’ve begun merch orders and are waiting on a few missed deadline art pieces to finish up the formatting to order the physical zine.

Rest assured, this zine will reach everyone who ordered and all profits will be given to the charity we have chosen to donate to.

Here’s my preview for @mhapacificrimau-zine​‘s Tales from the Shatterdome!

I wrote a story about Fat Gum, Rappa, and the kaiju black market at the end of the world. Can it be considered five times fic? It can probably be loosely considered five times fic. It was a blast to write and the zine is also the first one I started to mod -- believe me when I say the works within are astounding. It was so much fun seeing everyone’s take on the PacRim universe and how the BNHA characters would fit in it. We got so many different characters and pairings, exploring all aspects of humanity’s fight~ against kaiju... it is really full of amazing work, and we can’t wait to share them with you!
