It was a quiet Winterfest without Minnie and Johnny, but the Mayberries got together at Rowan’s apartment for a celebration anyway. Sunny’s Loner trait meant she was really irritated with all the people around.

Since Scarlett’s parents passed away, she and Sunny took in their only remaining cat, Asparagus. Scarlett distracted herself doing what she does best--finding another fling, this time with Valentine!

Sunny distracted herself from her sadness by throwing herself into her studies and trying to figure out how to repair the perpetually leaky sink.

While Minnie and Johnny were visiting Scarlett, they passed away within moments of each other, their Potions of Youth finally running out. Generation 1 is now gone, but Generations 2 and 3 will carry on!

Confession: I have literally never played a sim of mine until they died of old age... until now. So this was a big moment for me. I’ll miss these two so much.

And for my first post back after AGES, Scarlett aged up to an adult! Her own cooking still disappointed her, though.

My new PC is supposed to be here Sunday! If I didn’t have a deadline on Tuesday I would absolutely be simming all day lol

I finally was able to order a desktop computer to replace my Macbook Pro! I decided to go the PC route rather than getting an iMac, because I was able to get much better specs for the money. This is going to be my work computer (because I frequently need to use Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, and my 9 year old Macbook just can’t handle it anymore). But the specs should be more than enough to play The Sims 4 at max settings. Plus I’ll finally be able to try ReShade!

Super excited to get back into TS4 again without my computer bottlenecking me lol. Computer should be here within a couple of weeks.

Y’all honestly the only reason I haven’t continued posting NSB is that every time I go into Scarlett’s apartment my computer just starts chugging, like it literally can’t handle San Myshuno.

It’s also my work computer, so I’m trying not to have it completely die. I’m hoping to get an iMac for work so this one can retire lol

It’s a household of academics! Scarlett completed her last semester of university with a perfect GPA, and Sunny became an A student at school with her solar system project!
