So sorry to everyone who has been waiting for this one! I know it's taken so long but I hope it's worth the wait!

It was a normal day, all was well within the hobbit burrow that Kili and friends found themselves in.

"Hobbit, another round for all the dwarves!"

Kili proclaimed, earning cheers from all of his companions, and an exasperated sigh from Bilbo.

The dwarf was his usual self, rowdy and friendly. Unknown to him he wouldn't be for much longer. You see beside himself sat one of his most treasured and trusted companions. You.

Unfortunately, the long journey that had taken place just before this gathering had took its toll on you, and you found yourself feeling the grownup feelings slipping away. The familiar fog had settled over your brain and sure enough salty water began to brim your eyes.

Oh no.

Not now.

Not here.

Bam. Within a second all that hard work and effort had given way and you had regressed.

Kili, remained unaware of your change in state. Like the young dwarf he was all he currently could focus on was drinking and socialising.

And so here you are, terrified to say anything or move, lest someone senses your distress and figured out your secret.

"AND THIS ONE! I cannot count on five let alone two hands how many times they saved me!" Kili proclaimed, wrapping a comforting arm around your shoulder. You in turn pulled back, frightened by the sudden noise and touch. The dwarfs laughter suddenly died down as he turned to face you, greeted with unshed tears.

The lightbulb moment clicked in his head.

Oh no.

His little adventurer,

Who dare bring you such discomfort?

No, no one had upset you... you regressed.

Cue Kili suddenly standing up and yanking you out of your seat, but gently of course. He slung you over his shoulder, trying to get you out of the house in the least questionable way possible, and in his mind it looks like he is just playfully terrorising you. Before any of the others could say anything Kili muttered something about checking steel and then fwoosh,

He whisked you away at the speed of light.

"Oh my tiny fighter! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?"

The burly man checked you up and down, knowing full well you wouldn't of had any injuries but his instincts took over, and all he could think of was your well being.

"I'm so sorry I didn't notice my pet..."

"Go back inside."

Was all you could muster, not wanting to keep him from his pals. You knew his friends meant the world to him and even your smaller self could not bare to make him part with them.

"No. Not without you, and not till I know you are okay. Fighters stick together."

And thus came his usual sign of affection with you, holding up a closed fist he waited for you to do the same. When you eventually did he placed his fist upon yours then grabbed your head by the nape of your neck, and he held his small one tightly, placing his forehead against yours.

"Fighters stick together..." you mustered out, opening your fist and slipping it into his hand.

Happily he took it and led you back into the hobbits home, where he kept watch of you throughout the night.

Soft moonlight filled an extravagant room, filled to the brim with all sorts of books, toys, crafts and decorations that anyone of any age would find interesting, and in the very middle of the room lay a singular coffin.

A soft knock broke the silence, followed by a thud from the coffin.

"Mon chérie! My dear are you okay?!" The blonde burst through the door and looked around the room, his eyes settling upon the pastel blue coffin. Of course he realised. His poor little pet probably banged his head on the roof of the coffin.

Wasting no time the vampire flipped the lid off and grasped the boy who was already on the verge of tears.

"Oh my sweet! You hit your poor little head didn't you?"

Too overcome with confusion and pain the boy just nodded and reached out, his mind clouded due to his rebirth as a nightly creature. To clouded to question where he was, or why he was in a coffin.

Feeling the familiar tug on his psyche, the newborn vampire crumbled and fell back, only just caught in time to prevent injury thanks to Lestats vampiric nature.

"Ah, this is that thing you do right? You become a like a young thing... a newborn young thing, how very amusing." The blonde mused to himself, lifting the smaller one out of the coffin and tucking him under his arms snuggly.

"Anyway, we have a lot to do today Mon Chérie! I have to reintroduce you to the world!"

With a new found pep in his step, Lestat took his new creation for his first few steps outside of his bedroom, focusing on exploring the large estate the regal man owned. Only for the night though. Lestat wanted to enjoy his new child to himself for a bit, and figured it would be safer for his child to explore his own slice of paradise before taking on the rest of the world.

With gentle hands the vampire sat down his underling, giving him freedom to understand his new state of being.

"Go on little one, learn."

The young one hesitated, seemingly unbalanced on his own two feet. Slowly he lifted his feet, one after the other, racing back into the waiting arms of his sire.

Lestat only chuckled and picked him up, giving him a quick tour and debrief on what was to come before bringing the small one back to his chambers.

Once again the vampire sat the small one down, encouraging him to explore and play with all the little objects that had been lovingly collected for him. But the boy only wanted one thing. Reaching out to his elder, he tugged him forward, signalling for him to sit by the fireplace in the comfy little nest area. Once the orders were followed he grabbed a small, well loved book that was tucked away in a bookshelf decorated as if it were a lived in toy house, then ran back to the nest nook and jumped into the man's lap. Having already clued on, Lestat grabbed the book from his little ones hand and leaned back, pulling the boy into his chest with a soft chuckle.

"One for affection I see? Very well my dear. Settle in Mon chérie."

And for the rest of the night the two remained snuggled up by the fire, reading stories by the moons loving light.

The day Lestat found the little human was the day his world was opened up to a momentous amount of entertainment.

Not usually one for the long game, Lestat made his presence known in the humans little villa, but the boy he had taken such a keen interest in quickly brushed it off as a spook or perhaps one of the many kittens that dwelled within the walls of his home.

Over the course of time that the blonde vampire monitored the house and human inhabitant, his drive for fresh blood was overtaken by his curiosity of the unknown. This little human was a curious one, so to say. He had a curious way of dealing with the days terror, and this way of dealing with the hardships sparked something in the vampire. A need to create new life, one that this fragile little thing would be perfect for.

"Good evening Mon Chérie"

His soft chuckle sounded out through the bed chamber, followed by a gasp and clatter of whatever the frail thing held in his hands.

"Who are you and how did you get in here good sir?"

The vampire only smirked as he continued to circle his prey

"I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave!" The human shouted, mustering up courage that he didn't have.

"Afraid? Oh be not afraid of me little one! You should be overjoyed by my presence! I come to you with a gift, a choice should we say?" He chimed, stopping beside the little human.

"A choice?" A soft and meek voice questioned.

"Yes Mon chérie, a choice I never had. A choice I'm here to offer you. I've watched you for some time, and I must say you have a certain skill that I think is perfect for my way of life."

"And what is your way of life...?!"

Before the human boy could finish his question Lestat had already pounced and sunk his fangs deep into the main artery, draining life force till the small thing in his arms barely clung to life.

"I think that should answer the question now shouldn't it my dear? I'm sure you have even more questions like who? why are you doing this? why me? But ah you cannot ask can you?" He paused to take a gander into the boys eyes, watching as they were overcome with fear and dread.

"Fret not my little human friend, I will answer all your questions! 1: I am the vampire Lestat, 2: I am the vampire Lestat, 3: Your mind fascinates me. You are a mostly fully grown human yet you somehow hold the ability to revert back to the state of a child, it's truely fascinating I must say. But we really are drawing this out far to long my little thing, you must make a choice before there is no choice left to make, join me and see things which you have never seen before, or give up. Sleep eternally. Lose out on wonders and a million lives?"

The little thing reached his hand out, clearly trying to grasp and injure the vampire towering above him. To this Lestat could only laugh. How wonderful, even in the face of death his little pet continued to fight!

Seemingly satisfied with that answer he lulled the boy into a sleep, whispering promises that he would take care of everything, take care of 𝒉𝒊𝒎.

Being a little one and not having a caregiver can be really hard and can get you feeling all blue and feeling all lonely but there is ways you can help yourself and I hope these can help you little one!

make yourself a schedule of things you need to do, for example, nap time, meals and play time they can help you keep on track and tick them off with stickers or fun colours!

A chore chart can also be fun, stuff like, do laundry, clean, do the dishes, it can help yiu remember to do stuff and reward yourself at the end of the week if you get everything done!

Bedtime stories, YouTube and Spotify can be really good! I usually listen to Disney princess or bluey stories on Spotify and they are really good!

Have a fuzzy friend that you can cuddle, like a stuffie! Cuddle with it whenever you want! Snuggle up on the couch and watch fun comfort shows :)

Hi nonny unfortunately I have not seen the animated series and have no way of watching the animated series so I don't feel comfortable writing these characters, if you wish for them in a different version perhaps a game or movie interpretation I could do that! Let me know if you would prefer that!
