My finished piece for @neonbell-zines’ Ham-Chat zine, a visual dictionary for all the ham-chat from Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak! My assigned ham-chat was “lovedove” which means “cherished” 💕 Ham-Ham Heartbreak is one of my favorite games ever so I was really happy to be apart of this! 🐹🌻

Super stoked to share my full card art I did for @pkmntarot !! I was assigned The Wheel of Fortune featuring Lugia and the legendary birds. It was a really fun challenge to create something that fit the card’s meaning as well as the lore of the Pokemon!

DELTARUNE ZINE UPDATE

Hey everyone! Some of you reading this may remember and may have even donated money to a Deltarune themed zine @deltazine, hoping for a printed version many months ago. Well, here’s what’s happened since then:

[TL;DR] PRINTED VERSION NOT HAPPENING, HERE’S A PDF VERSION FOR FREE FOR EVERYONE (FROM THE ARTISTS/WRITERS), PLEASE REPORT THE KICKSTARTER SO BACKERS CAN GET REFUNDS!

For the sake of transparency I’ve detailed a history of the project below the cut. We, the artists and writers involved in the project, have been “scammed” (for lack of a better word) as well, and we just want everyone to get refunds and be able to enjoy the hard work that went into the zine.

Around December of last year I and approx. 60 other artists and a dozen writers worked on a Deltarune themed charity fanzine called Light and Dark. The tumblr account was @deltazine but that has since been deleted. The twitter https://twitter.com/Deltarune_Zine is still up. The zine was run by two mods (A and J) who had never run a zine before.

For many artists, myself included, that was also our first zine! Because of that, it was only going to be a PDF version. And everything went fine! But shortly after the success of the PDF version (around February) the mods announced they would also be making a printed version. They made a kickstarter that launched Feb 14 and ended March 16 where “37 backers pledged $2,344 to help bring this project to life.” The books were advertised to ship around May.

The last message we got from either A or J was this message on discord:

As you can see, that was in April. Recently (end of June) we asked again for an update but got nothing, and that started worrying many of us in the discord. So, today (June 27 2019) I did a little bit of searching and found A’s personal tumblr and this was the last post that was made (apparently on June 24)

SO UHH... YEAH

Regardless of the veracity of these claims, those of us in the discord have reported the project to kickstarter in hopes that those who pledged can get their money back. We’ve also decided to upload the PDF versions of everything (the art book, the fic book, and extra “merchandise” that was created for the printed version) on dropbox so anyone can download it FOR FREE
