Oddly enough, talking to Bambi was making Molly thankful for having a stable home, even if she couldn't stand the occupants most of the time. Why was this girl always bringing up things that made her think of her parents? Maybe it wasn't Bambi in particular, but the fact that her father had recently reached out to her again through her agency. Molly had refused to even open the letter and had it sent back immediately with 'return to sender' in big red letters written on the front.
As Bambi spoke about her apartment Molly walked alongside her. She found it a bit hard to keep up with her thoughts, but she managed to get the gist of what she was saying. Molly really wasn't one for long conversations, so she quickly lost interest. She was genuinely curious about Bambi though, so she gave her best effort to pay attention as she spoke.
"I actually find it pretty common for people around here not to have a television set. I, of course, have one. It was gifted to me through a muggle modeling agency after I filmed my first shampoo commercial. I find it to be a bit annoying though, so I hardly ever have mine on." She spoke sweetly, trying to make Bambi not feel bad about bringing her into her apartment. Bambi seemed like the type of girl to be easily intimidated by Molly, and she really didn't want that to happen. She felt an odd connection to her and wanted her to feel comfortable with her.
Day Dream // Molly and Bambi
“yeah.. its.. I mean, I tried to stick to harmonizing colours for each room, y’know? But its so hard to tell when you’ve never even decorated your own freaking room before” Bambi laughed, brushing a hand through her hair as they weaved through the crowded streets
“mother was always very creative.. so I just have my fingers crossed i had the luck to inherit that… to my eyes it looks alright but I just worry that someone else will walk in and be instantly blinded by the insanity or something..”
thinking back to her new apartment made Bambi smile.. to most people it was probably quite small, but to Bambi.. after a caravan and dorm rooms and the tiny space she had it the centre… it was huge, like a palace or something! “I’m sure its nothing compared to where you live though.. I dont even have a tv”

As soon as she heard his name memories of a few quick trips to closets around the Hogwarts grounds flashed in her mind. A soft smirk spread across her face as she finally placed who this familiar looking gentleman was. "Ah, Daniel Crowne. Still smooth talking girls into closets?" She hung out with Daniel on many occasions while in school. Since they were both Slytherin's they tended to always be around the same crowds, even though Molly didn't care about mixing with other houses, so she made it a habit to hang out with loads of other attractive students such as herself.
As he held out the cigarette she graciously accepted, taking a long drag before pushing herself off the wall. She didn't smoke all the time, but she never turned one down when offered. Her day was starting to feel a bit better now that she was in the presence of a former drinking buddy. "Well I did miss breakfast this morning, so maybe a small bite to eat, along with a few drinks wouldn't be a bother," she said with a smile.
Molly quickly finished off the cigarette and tossed it away, turning to Daniel. "Since you tried to crack my ass bone, I think I should pick where we have lunch. There's a nice place, with a nice bar, only a few blocks up from here. Sounds good?"

Molly listened as she explained her life on the move. She really wasn't looking for all that information when she asked about the apartment, but it was nice to get some details about the barmaid. She sensed that it wasn't a subject she cared to talk about, something Molly knew all too well, so she decided not to push her for information. Later, if she decided she could stand to be around this girl for an extended period of time while sober, she could tell her about her life on her own terms. Molly knew some people, most people, had things in their past they didn't care to discuss with everyone. She respected that, for the most part, and hoped that others would do the same for her.
As Bambi in the direction of her apartment and rushed off Molly quickly followed, deciding to leave the book she had been reading at the cafe. She wanted to get out of that area before anyone tried to approach her. Attention was something she longed for, especially from her admirers, but today she just wanted to be another anonymous girl on the streets.
She took a few quick steps to catch up with Bambi and pulled her hat off once they were around a corner from the cafe. "Well I'm sure your apartment decor isn't all that bad," she said as she fixed her hair back up. The best way to avoid a topic someone didn't care to discuss was to change the subject of conversation altogether.
Day Dream // Molly and Bambi
“Yes.. my first apartment” Bambi stifled a giggle at the girls baffled look “I lived in a caravan with my parents, then hogwarts.. caravan every summer… then uh.. uh..” oh. three years. It’s been three years since she left Hogwarts.. How was she supposed to explain that?! She couldn’t lie! She was the worst liar. Be honest. Be honest then brush past it.
“Then the centre for three years, and then here, right then, lets go!”
Bambi swiveleld around in the direction of her apartment, walking with steady, precise steps this time, swinging her hair forward to cover the blush on her cheeks, barely even checking to see if Molly was following or not.. She couldn’t escape from it. not even here. this place was supposed to mean a fresh start.

As Molly listened to Bambi speaking she realized this girl really was more odd than the usual bartenders she came across. "Your first apartment? Did you just move out of your parents place?" Molly knew gypsies were wanderers, but she figured that had to have some sort of stability. A home somewhere to escape to.
After Bambi picked up the last few broken pieces Molly pushed her glasses up on her face, making sure to have to most coverage from them, and pulled a stylish hat from her pocket. She slide the hat down tightly and waited for Bambi to lead the way.
Day Dream // Molly and Bambi
“Yes.. and my father, too. My whole family really… does that help explain why I’m so odd?” Bambi smirked, standing up and brushing dirt off her skirt lazily. Seeing the gathering crowd she realized that of course it wasn’t out of concern for her, but rather for recognition of Molly. It didn’t displease her at all, just made her feel bad for the Weasley girl, after all, what kind of life can you have if you struggle to go out in public without being bothered..
“You can come back to my apartment if you want.. it’s not that far, and seeing as I’ve never had one before I could use someone with your sense of smile to judge if the interior looks like a child vomited up a rainbow…” The closest Bambi had ever been to owning her own house was her room at the centre, and they weren’t even allowed to decorate them..

"So you're mother was a gypsy? That's...interesting." Molly knew she shouldn't place judgement on her, especially considering that's what her family had always done to her, but she couldn't help it. She found gypsies to be a bit strange, which did offer a good explanation to Bambi's quirks.
Molly looked around and noticed some people watching her as they spoke amongst themselves. Her and Bambi had been in the street for a few moments, giving some of the others around time to work out why this girl with the fire red hair looked familiar, even with the large shades shielding her eyes. "Um, so if you're okay...I think I'll just get back to my book..." She looked at Bambi and then back at the family that was watching her. "Or, actually I've done enough reading for today. I can help you with your stuff if you'd like." She gave the gypsy girl an awkward, but still very beautiful, smile.
Day Dream // Molly and Bambi
Bambi nodded, grinning when she explained what the book was about “Sounds groovy” idiot. She sighed, wishing she could cram the stupid word back into her mouth.. She still used the expressions she had picked up from her parents when she was a child, and it embarrassed her on more occasions than even the falling over could.
The mistake was quickly forgotten when Molly returned her attention to the carving, and Bambi twirled it around in her hand, eyes studying it on every side as she had done in the shop
“It’s a dancing gypsy woman… Reminds me of my mother” the figure was wearing a long dressed and had a bandanna tied into her flowy hair, arms thrown up in joy. A pose her mother had often pulled for photos, saying it made her ‘feel free and alive, like im thanking the sun’ Bambi laughed, mumbling the words now and finding comfort in them as she often had done when she was little

Molly's face blushed pink when Bambi mentioned the book. Most people wouldn't be embarrassed about something like reading a book, but Molly wanted to bring attention to her face, not her issues. "Oh my book. It's um...nothing too impressive. It's just some book about the muggle fashion industry. You know, the trends and such. I like to keep up on both sides so I'm always ready for any type of job." She felt stupid lying about the book, but Bambi already knew too much about her. She didn't need to get into a conversation about why she was reading a book about how to find happiness in life.
She watched Bambi open the small box and as the light reflected off the contents. She peered around the girl and caught a glimpse of the carving. "Oh, how beautiful. What is it?"
Day Dream // Molly and Bambi
When Molly mentioned Bambi’s lack of attention she smiled, quirking one eyebrow and chuckling
“More often than I’d care to admit, Molly.. I usually fall over though, so I’m considering this a success” she joked, picking at a loose thread in her t-shirt “So, what are you reading?” Bambi quesioned, thoughts now occupied with ideas of what kind of book the girl would read.. probably something about success and power, that seemed Molly’s kind of book
making quick work of the clean up Bambi picked up a small cardboard box gently, afraid that its contents would ratle. Luckily they did not, and after opening the box to reveal the glass carving of the dancing gypsy girl still in tact Bambi let out the breath she had been holding and relaxed.. this was her favourite piece, and her mother was a superb dancer, so she sort of felt like having it would mean she alway shad her mother around..

Molly felt herself tense up as he called her love, thinking what a jerk he must be to run into some poor lady with little remorse. Just as she took a step forward, preparing herself to really lay into him, she felt her heel break and she wobbled sideways. Her face quickly changed from anger to defeat. This was just the start of her day and at the rate things had been going she started to feel the familiar thirst for alcohol building in her.
Even after being knocked to the ground Molly still looked beautiful as she leaned herself against the brick wall with her hands, bent down, and pulled both of her shoes off. "Thanks for the offer, but I can manage." She pulled her wand out of her purse, quickly murmured a few spells, and within a few seconds her shoes and pants were as good as new. "You have to memorize these spells when you're entire life is based on your appearance." A few moments after Molly finished her sentence she heard the boy say her name.
"So, I do recognize you from school?" She knew he recognized her outside of the magazines because he was also familiar to her. She watched him for a few moments, studying his good looks and still couldn't specifically place his face. "Sorry, but I'm bad with faces."

Once Molly realized that Bambi was alright she began to laugh at the girl. It wasn't a harsh laugh, but she wasn't trying to be sympathetic to her since she didn't seem too injured by the collision.
"Do you always wander around without paying attention to what's in front of you?"
Molly watched as she tried to gather the glass, cutting her finger in the process, and then began to feel a bit bad for laughing. She clearly was in pain seeing as she kept putting her hand on her forehead. There was a large red welt starting to rise up and even though she was doing her best to conceal it, it was noticeable.
A few people had come to see if the girl was alright, but Molly quickly shooed them all away. Thankfully, she had manage to keep her sunglasses on in the rush over, so none of them recognized her yet. She bent down and started to help Bambi pick up the pieces, being extra careful so she didn't cut herself, like Bambi had.
Day Dream // Molly and Bambi
Seeing Molly made Bella smile, despite the throb in her head, and it was mostly because the girl had rushed so suddenly to her, and obviously it was her book thrown haphazardly to the chair she had been sitting on. Bambi hadn’t taken Molly as the type to enjoy reading…
“I’m fine.” she sighed, dropping to the ground to survey the damage of smashed glass and splintered wood, sighing once again as she picked up a piece only to end up pricking her figner on the sharp edge “mother fucker… I just baught these” Bambi didn’t swear often, and whenever she did it always sounded alien coming from her mouth, like you couldn’t quite believe she had even said it in the first place.
Shrugging her shoulders the odd girl began to pick up her broken possesions and put them back into the basket they had occupied before. She knew of course that there was spells she could cast to fix these things but.. They would never quite feel right again, having baught them in the first place as a sort of nod to her parents and their quickly interior style she knew that using magic on them would sort of ruin it for her..

The past few days hadn't been going so well for Molly. She had been excessively drunk last week and kissed the odd barmaid, been knocked to the ground by an old classmate of hers, and had been late to many of her appointments. She had decided to take a few days away from her fast life to recollect herself. The cafe a few streets over from her home was always the best place to do this. She found a small table under the awning and sat to be with her book and tea. She wore a large pair of sunglasses, to shade herself from any possible acquaintances that may have passed her by. People weren't used to seeing Molly doing things like reading a book, and she was fine to keep it that way. She liked appearing uninterested in those sort of things. In her mind it helped keep her appearance up in the industry.
She was a few chapters into her book and on her second cup of tea when she glanced up and saw the barmaid from last week bouncing down the street. Molly watched under the cover of her shades and the awning as Bambi strolled aimlessly down the sidewalk, paying no attention to her surroundings. She had no plans of approaching the girl for a chat, since she really had no desire to see her outside of the bar. Just as she looked back down at her book she heard a loud crash and glasses breaking on the ground. Out of instinct Molly flew out of her chair, dropping her book on the floor, and rushed over to Bambi.
"Bella," she said with a hint of concern in her voice. "Are you alright?"
Day Dream // Molly and Bambi
Bambi idled down the street, a small basket full of candle holders and small ornate glass carvings and other such trinkets hanging off her arm as she made her way back to her apartment to place these pretty new decorations. It was obvious from a quick look at her that she was entirely elsewhere, completely oblivious to the world around her as she walked, her already trade mark long skirt swishing at her feet with her light steps. People tended to step out of her way long before she had a chance to bump into them, having already established the former Gryffindor as a total day dreamer that couldn’t be trusted to avoid you herself, certainly not when she held that far off look in her eyes..
However, one thing that of course wouldn’t move out of her way was a lamp post, a lesson Bambi learned when she walked head first into the one blocking her path. She gasped, and one arm flew out to the side in an automatic gesture to steady her balance, and the basket went flying. Not noticing the now mostly smashed and ruined possesions Bambi took a few stumbling steps back, holding a hand to her forehead and laughing “son of a… oww” she winced, hastily re arranging her hair to cover the blooming red mark, her eyes flickering to the small disaster zone of her things a few feet away.

Bugs? Camping? Exploring? How old are you exactly? You said earlier that you knew I was a model, right? I don't think models and the outdoors mix all that well. I enjoy the finer things in life, like a nice bed and NO bugs where I sleep at night.

How can you not like camping? I love camping. I could be outside always. My parents essentially raised me camping. I can’t even imagine life only in the city. We’re going to have to drag you out of the city and show you how much fun exploring can be. I want to go exploring and find stuff. Oh and bugs, we can play with bugs!

Beautiful, you say? Why thank you! Camping? Um, that's not really my thing, but I'm always down to party. Of course, doing things besides sleeping, while on the floor of the forest is fun, too.

Of course I’ve seen you around, you’re like Molly. You model and stuff right? You’re pretty much beautiful. I noticed. We should hang out sometime, party it up or whatever. Ooh or we could go to the forest and camp and stuff!

Good morning, fine sir! I am Molly. I'm sure you've seen me around.

Good morning, afternoon, evening…whatever you want to call it, I am a bit toasted and really could care less. I heard that some shit was going down with this creature my Mom found, but I think I slept through it, so whatever, might as well meet some of you ladies and gents.
