something a little different - if you haven't heard about the current situation in indonesia, it's getting pretty serious there. as of right now, the number of protesters who have been detained by police has gone up, alongside the cases of police brutality + provocateurs increasing. LBH Jakarta is an organisation providing free legal aid, which is crucial at the moment for many of the those currently detained. the above 2 links take international donations, which goes a long way in IDR (like, seriously: 1 USD = 16,437.4 IDR).

if you'd like to spot over some money for them, they're still currently taking donations! the bottom link accepts credit card if you are unable to use paypal, although keep in mind the website is in indonesian. for the 2nd link, here's a tutorial on how to navigate it if you decide to donate from there!

Harry Fonseca began his art career using imagery from his Native American Maidu heritage in his art. His Coyote Series of paintings started in 1979. These works use the coyote as the trickster of Maidu ancestral stories, depicted in nontraditional clothing and settings. In this painting Coyote is dressed in black leather and other aspects of queer-dress experienced by the artist in San Francisco, expressing Fonseca's personal narrative as a gay Native American living off-reservation.
