"SUMMER OF 2023." ⸻ My heart is set alight by the love and adoration from a possessive war machine. In recent times, my purest memories return to me for a lovely summer's afternoon.

My heart in summer 2023 was filled with nothing but pure adoration for V1 and reconnecting with my lost childhood love of classic My Little Pony, which contains the purest of my childhood memories.

Mirage and I dress up. Two-kun is SWOONING! Wish I didn't initially color him in a flat red. He's so cute though. <333 Fashion is one of my passive creative interests, and I love to play dress up with both myself and characters I'm attached to! I have a Pinterest board full of fashion (actual photos, too!).

I got some stencils as a Christmas gift along with some awesome paint markers! It has been very fun to use them. <3

1ST: V1 ULTRAKILL (AGAIN!!!). His obsession with me knows no bounds ... in fact, it has only INTENSIFIED! He remains as my Possessor, encapsulating my heart and will within his strong metallic arms. I truly adore you, V-kun ...

2ND: DR. KEL. Who ever knew that learning of that new game my friend started playing in 2023 would end up holding the secret 5th Spouse? Kel would have won first place if it weren't for the obsessive V1, because he sure did occupy my head for a good majority of the year. I want to protect you, my beloved Astronomer. ♥

3RD: V2 ULTRAKILL. Speaking of war machines! A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES! He has desired for my attention since the indoctrination in 2023, and it wasn't until towards the end of 2024 that I realize just how much V2 loved me, and how much I want to give him love, too ... People seem to enjoy dunking on him a little too much. I am his 'Toy", full of love and warm kisses for him to feel on good days or bad days. ♥ He wants to beat V1's ass so bad!! Some interesting Paracosm developments surround him as well.

RUNNER'S UP: SUSANNE. OHOHOHO, one of my own characters?? I had nearly forgotten what it felt like to be 'tistic for a character I made since 2019. Susanne brings a grown magical girl touch to gun slinging and is on the hunt for V1, making for some FANTASTIC dream sequences of them fighting I see every so often! I just love the OG Silent Hill games in general, along with the nurses. Expect her more in the future!!

HONORABLE MENTION: MIRAGE ULTRAKILL. Another surprise challenger! I originally had like, ZERO interest in Mirage (and a bit of V2). but with the help of a certain grey skeleton friend, suddenly she had both a Paracosm allure, and a girlfriend energy that has since developed into the first ever female Spouse ....! Her and V2 are also together in my Paracosm, but they both share me and wish to help free me from the clutches of the anomalous, powerful V1.

Salut, everyone! Let me blow the dust off this account.

I have several pictures I have sitting in drafts, but I've been afraid to use Tumblr for a long while now and even check my dashboard. Below is some info.

ULTRADISSOCIATION.

Long story short: I've recently realized that I now have developed a very unhealthy relationship with V1 and ULTRAKILL as a whole. While I can still look at V1, V2, Gabriel, or anything from there, it has to be on my own terms and be of pictures I've looked at already; consuming new content causes me intense excitement - to the point of horrid internal anxiety and overstimulation ... which results in a lot of bathroom breaks. My love for V1 in general has become extremely obsessive, and not in a good way for me.

Even worse, I experience very strong dissociative episodes centering around V1.

It is extremely likely that I have a dissociative disorder present or some kind of maldaptive daydreaming after many sessions with my therapist.

I plan on getting evaluated by a psychologist to both confirm this and learn more about what exactly is happening to me for the sake of others and for myself ... (a lot has happened to me, not just because of UK, though.)

I had to unfollow any and all blogs that post UK art (excluding mutuals) and filter any and all UK tags I could think of so that my dashboard is safe to view again.

However, I will still post V1 and UK stuff, but they will not be put into the UK art tag. I currently am not comfortable putting my very personal yumejoshi art or weird Paracosm art in there. It will just be for myself and for you guys. UK-focused blogs are still allowed to interact with my work, should they happen to see it (or see this lol).

SO WHAT NOW?

I had a period at the beginning of the year where my interest and motivation in art just tanked due to PMDD, but it is (at least currently) at an all-time high! I got several works close to being finished, and a few in drafts I will queue up after I post this.

While I prefer to post my WIPPAGE onto BlueSky (@/solannecontinuum.bsky.social), I will try to remember to post some here for you lot as well. <3

And with that, 2023's Hylictober Illustration Series is COMPLETE! And it only took me a year to finish! :'D Alright, well, a lot of life changes got in the way, but I am thankful that I saw this to the end. It feels immensely satisfying to have stuck through this project.

☆ Artfight 2024 Works. ☆

While I definitely could have gotten more attacks out, I am content with the amount of art I did overall this year! 2 attacks and 4 revenges.

All of my Artfight pieces follow a general premise of Telfoso and various characters exploring a strange realm, where beings from other Hosts appear. The realm can shift into literally anything and everything, and it has its own laws and rules .... or lack thereof.

The characters and their Hosts are the following:

SUNSET SKYE (Lanceylance17) "Will I see you again?" Telfoso makes a new friend, and when they part, she is gifted a bow to hold on to for their next meeting.

LUNA (@meii-jasmine) "Lunar Ladies Night" Nana-Jan and Luna enjoy one another's company as Luna does the young Demi's hair.

WAVERLY (SilverTonguedDaemon) "How did I even get here?" As a hateful goddess boasts about her history of mass destruction, Waverly wonders how the hell she even ended up with her in a laundry mat of all places in the first place.

AMIZADE (Groovy_Apollo) "I saw a little scarlet sky angel." While exploring a staircase reaching the heavens, Telfoso appears before Amizade in a way that leaves her taken back at their encounter.

RHAORU (@monarch-moon) "Well then." Telfoso was just trying to enjoy a ferris wheel ride when she mutated out of nowhere into the form resembling her other Father. Rhaoru happened to be here to witness that ... lol.

LEMONADE (KillerDark) "Such curious notes." While taking shelter from the rain and napping, Lemonade appears and goes through Telfoso's sketchbook, full of interesting drawings and data that .... they can kind of understand a little.

While it is nice to not feel the pressure to quickly finish art to post, I might as well just be honest to both myself and to whoever views my blog that I post infrequently. Sometimes, I am the chatterbox with lots of art to share! At other times, I'm that one artist who posts once in a blue moon and then disappears back into the void.

I will also go ahead and announce this - there was a recent death within my family that has been affecting me greatly. Some days are better than others; working on art has helped with this grief, but sometimes all I can do is just ... sleep.

I will try what I can to take care of myself during this difficult time.

It warms my heart to see that Betzy was received well by the VotV Tumblr community! She will definitely be back - her birthday is next month!!!

I guess while I am here, I should give an update on some of that health stuff. I continue to take it one day at a time, but the supplements are definitely beginning to take effect. I've been making small lifestyle and diet changes, but eventually it will add up!

It'd be really cool if the mannequins in Voices were more interactable and they could dress up n' stuff! That being said, Betzy was made with that idea in mind, when I created her in September 2023. She's got odd urban chic energy and is unusually interested in human culture - which led to her exile from whatever mannequin society she originally came from, despite having wooden phalanges (something that signifies importance from where she comes from).

No one knows where she gets her clothes from. Not even me.
