so here's what I've now done to make the internet usable as a person living in the UK without handing my ID and/or facial scans over to random third parties:

signed up for a ProtonVPN account

set up a tunnel from my router to a ProtonVPN server in Sweden

written a python script to query DNS servers for social media domains every 15 minutes and collate the results into a list of IP address ranges

created routing and firewall policies to block connections to those IP ranges on my normal connection and send them through the VPN tunnel instead

set up a second, personal VPN so I can make my mobile devices connect to the internet through my home network even when I'm not at home

now it's time to open source this whole thing so others can enjoy using the internet the same way they did three weeks ago

I just learned that blowing or forcing air into the vagina can cause a fatal embolism and now I'm paranoid! Could rough penetrative sex or toy use cause air to be forced into the vagina?

Okay, so yes, penetrative sex can force air inside your vagina. That's very common, it happens regularly to people having any type of penetrative sex (it's what causes queefs!) but the risk of an embolism from that is actually extremely, extremely low.

From the few cases of it they've found, it's more common in pregnant people (likely because of all the size changes and stretching that can cause inside during pregnancy) and those with current vaginal tears.

It also requires a LOT of air and something essentially trapping the air inside.

Same with the blowing-the few cases they found, it wasn't just a partner blowing on their partner's vagina, it was a combined issue of pregnancy/vaginal tears and something like trying to use a balloon full of air to inflate their partners vagina and/or trying to blow as much air inside their partner's vagina as possible while their partner was pregnant.

This isn't to say its impossible, just that its very unlikely and it seems to take more steps than just blowing on someone or fucking them roughly. (If it was that easy, far more people would be dying from it, given how common sex toys, rough sex and experimentation are.)
