Summary:

Stolas knew he’d lose everything after saving Blitz. What he wasn’t counting on was being alive to face the consequences. He’d expected to just slip into the dark. But now, living with Blitz and Loona, he has to somehow learn how to navigate his new life. Not to mention the fact that there’s a revolution brewing, his daughter is about to inherit his powers, and everybody at I.M.P. is still grappling with the fallout of what happened to them.

But Blitz is softer than he’s ever been, taking care of his every need, sleeping at his side every night. It should be enough. It should be all he’s ever dreamed it could be.

It should be.

The grin on Stolas’ face had to be one of Blitz’s favorite things in the world. It seemed like everything else disappeared as he walked around picking old books he’d loved, new ones he wanted to read. Unlike most of Hell, this place was cool, calm. Nothing like the scorching heat and incessant noise from outside.

“You sure you can take one more?” Stolas asked with worry, watching Blitz dangerously balance a pile of books taller than him.

“When haven’t I?” Blitz said arching an eyebrow and Stolas laughed at that. “Yeah, you just add it to the top.”

“Alright then!”
