growing older doesnt mean you need to magically shift to 'mature' hobbies and interests, you may very well like all the same things you do now when you're old and wrinkled. in fact theres a good chance all the things you like now will be percieved as old person hobbies in a few decades. which is frankly a lot more terrifying to me.

The dumb ass hell borp comic 😭😭 I wanted to make a cute lil silly thing, that still displayed monty's power cus as much of a dunderhead as he is, i thibk he deserves to be cool as a treat eyehehe. I don't see a lot of art detecting monty's skills, and I found it rlly cute how he basically is like a lil dragon.

Unfortunately, Sam isn't gonna let that slide 😭 (and Dan's first instinct is to record sksks)

This was actually originally supposed to just be a cute lil thing I made in my leisure time, and was gonna post normally- but I then asked if I could make it another zine and they said yeah! I'm rlly glad I chose that, cus it made me lock in. I made the composition fit the canvas requirements, and it pushed my not so professional comic experience. It also made me clean it up too- if I had posted this as a side thing like I originally wanted, it would've of been as crispy (lol)

(oh also note: the reason it says "FLIP" on page two is cus the zine is a png so page 3 was vertical- I wanted to tell people to flip their phones/the image if possible ahead of time)

My full comic for @homebodieszine featuring Montreal's favorite Let's Player/part-time unboxer! Dan's not letting a little apocalypse slow down his hustle, even if he has to shill questionable coffee-making products

Look Outside's ensemble cast is delightful and it's hard to pick a favorite character, but Dan is so fun to write because of the inherent absurdity of a streamer in a cosmic horror setting.

I forgot how challenging it can be to fit text with comic art while keeping it readable (it's far too easy to underestimate the space you need for speech bubbles), but it's always a treat to play with panel shapes and line weights. I've also gotten a lot more confident with hands and foreshortened perspectives.

The fanbook is full of amazing work from a ton of talented artists and writers, and it's been a pleasure to be part of this project!
