Man, I'm still thinking about the end of Tango's Past Life video from yesterday. After the arena trap didn't kill anyone, and he's given up.

Tango digs a hole. Puts lava in it. Stares at the lava. Practically telegraphing that he's going to jump into it - his lives are forfeit anyways, so why not just do it himself? Get it over with before next week?

But then Impulse steps close, and instinctively, Tango picks the lava up again. He's not risking Impulse trying to throw himself in and argue that because Tango placed the lava, it 'should' count as a boogey kill. (It wouldn't, and they both know it, but Tango can't risk him trying anyways.)

So instead Tango digs a deeper hole, and jumps in, and covers it over. He ends the episode in his own grave.

Why did Gem call it a twin bed omg Pearl is 6 foot and at least one of Villys definitely starfishes in their sleep. They’re either pancaked on top of each other or contorted around Pearl whose hands and feet are hanging off. Second funniest canonical bed setup behind GGG one bed and Impulse sleeping on his own upstairs.

mumbo is SO MEAN when he's taking over other peoples' bodies, it's like the second he's inhabiting another skin he knows every consequence will land on the body he's snatched so he just goes pedal to the metal spiteful and vindictive. i hope he does it even more often. i hope he subs in for yet another lifer in two episodes' time and does his very best to be mean and rude and then dies at the end for good measure

Yeah only this time Scott's doing his damnedest to hitch a ride. Obviously doesn't care 100% for Cabincore, not even hesitating to ask for a second bed at the Villie's base. He's loyal this season to Etho, not their team, which... wow! That doesn't happen!! Not to Etho.

One of my favorite things about Etho in the life series is how he somehow always manages to become a pseudo-member of another team. He did it in Wild Life with the G's. He did it in Last Life with the Clockers. Somehow he has managed to do it again, completely unintentionally, with the Villies. Nobody two-times like Etho

The end of the episode was so heartbreaking 😭 I really hope we get to see him in so many more episodes…It actually reminded me of the end of Secret Life Ep8, when he was red‑named and down to just 2.5 hearts

Superhero & Villain Ranchers AU

It’s just a simple superhero/villain AU with an healthy amount of angst thrown in for good health

World building

It is forbidden for a hybrid or non-human to use their powers/“advantages” ; it is , however , technically not illegal. But for a hybrid to gain the same amount of “privileges” as humans they have to give up their hybrid side; for avians that is their wings.

The capital is riddled with crime and although the government’s police force can handle the minor leagues of criminals, to a certain degree, they cannot handle criminals of non-human descent. So they started to hire hybrids and other creatures to fight off the increased hybrid crimes. These individuals gain “human privileges” without having to give up their hybrid side. They are however technically owned by the government.

Tango/Inferno

Tango is a blaze hybrid who throughout his life was always treated as dangerous because of his fire powers. When he turned 18 he decided to apply to the government to become a hero- to disprove the stereotype that nether born individuals are inherently dangerous. He is close friends with his colleagues: Impulse (Imp) and Skizz (Angel).

Jimmy/Cannary

Jimmy is an Avian (duh) and has refused to get his wings removed- and is reaping the consequences for it as he is finding it hard to get a job. He works at his brother's architecture company as the receptionist/assistant. He and his brothers, Joel and Grian, fight against the government's laws regarding hybrids but their reputation has been tarnished by the Government to make them look like villains. In costume he uses a feather dye to conceal his identity.
