“George that is disgusting.” Dimitri grimaced at the contents in the container his friend was holding.

“Well I happen to think it is very tasty.” George huffed before stuffing in another mouthful.

“Speaking of tasty things.” Harry spoke up for the first time in a while as he stared at something on the other side of the pub.

Quickly, they all turned to look at what Harry was looking at and began to whoop obnoxiously when they caught sight of the girl sat a couple of tables away from their own.

“Oh no. Uh, uh. Definitely not.” Leighton shook his head, looking over at the girl with a look that can only described as adoration.

“And any the hell not?” Harry asked, seemingly frustrated at not being able to pursue his newest conquest.

“Leighton has had his eye on her for ages.” Guy told him, stressing the fact that it had been a long time.

“Your joking.” Harry grumbled, mostly to himself as he slumped back in his seat.

“So why haven’t you talked to her yet?” Hugo asked as he watched the girl laugh with her friends. He was gay. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t admire Leighton’s spectacular taste

The club President looked down at the table and pursed his lips, speculating whether or not he should tell the rest of the group.

“I have always tried to compose myself before I introduce myself. I don’t want to diminish any chances I have before i even talk to her.” He admitted hesitantly.

Leighton looked back over at the girls table and found all confidence he had built up disappearing when she smiled as her friend whispered in her ear.

The rest of the club stared at him in disbelief. Wondering how on earth their usual confident club President had turned so insecure over a girl.

“And its taken months?” Ed’s asked in amazement.

“I don’t even know her name.” Leighton mumbled as he turned back around and nodded.

Suddenly all the boys at the table looked behind him with wide eyes as they grinned.

“Well, I think your about to mate.” Guy told him as he felt a presence standing behind him.

He quickly turned around in his seat and gaped when he caught sight of the girl he had been pining over for several months, standing there with a shy smile.

“Hello there.” Dimitri spoke up, sensing that this girl had stepped out of her comfort zone to come over and talk to them. This made them all smile fondly.

Hi, my names Y/N. And I was wondering if your friend here would like to come and get a drink with me?“ She asked, biting her lip nervously.

“Of course he would!” Guy exclaimed, the rest of the table nodding in agreement.

“Isn’t that right Leighton!” He nudged his friend who was still staring at Y/N in wonder.

He snapped out of it and quickly stood up, nodding his head.

“Of course! Yes. I’d love to!” He spoke loudly, making Y/N laugh quietly.

“Have fun!” Dimitri called after them as they walked away before the whole table erupted with cheers.
