The exhibit will be on display in the Library Foyer April 15-May 3. Students ha...ve engaged mathematical concepts into a wide variety of projects including quilts, origami, threading, sculptures, photography, sketches, and much, much more. The exhibit is sure to put a colorful and creative spin on conceptions of math. Be sure to stop by and check it out!

Yesterday, Wendy Brown, a professor in the Political Science Department at UC-Berkeley came to speak at Southwestern's Jessie Daniel Ames Lecture. Wendy Brown lead her discussion titled, “Homo Oeconomicus, Homo Politicus, and Predicaments of Contemporary Democracy” immediately followed by a Q&A session. Today she met with students for lunch and discussion as well as a reading group with Feminist Studies faculty. Special thanks to the Feminist Studies department and Dr. Shannon Mariotti, Associate Professor of Political Science for their part in organizing this lecture. What were your thoughts on the lecture?
