Can’t believe we’ve reached the end…I have a lot to say about TOH but I’ll save it for another post. Right now I’m just gonna upload some designs, starting with my favorite one, Titan Luz! Or Luzan, as she was called in the files. The way they animated her made me wanna cry (in the best way)

I DONT SEE ENOUGH PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THIS SCENE the way the collector instantly ducks and covers his head when amity starts walking towards them like he is expecting some type scolding or something, then once amity reaches her hand out, the realization hits him that she is offering peace, safety, and help and IDK THAT SCENE JUST ALWAYS GETS ME LIKE THEIR WIDE SMILE AND TEARY EYES AND GASP OF SURPRISE/REALIZATION HE FINALLY GETS LOVE AND COMFORT AND FRIENDS 😭🫶🏽

The fact that all three of them had to say goodbye to each other at the end of their respective seasons, resigned to their fate as they thanked them. But it's Luz who breaks the tragic pattern of pain, in this case not being able to say thanks as a goodbye... Only to be able to say it as an affirmation of their bond when they are reunited! Likewise...

"But we're a family! Us weirdoes have to stick together, remember?"

"You have a family already. Go back to them."

At the end of each season, Luz repeated "Us weirdoes have to stick together" only for a grieving Eda and King to refuse it. But the last time Luz says it, they finally get to return and affirm the bond they taught her.

I love that this show which is usually pretty subtle about its symbolism, got to the final episode and decided to say, “Hey guys, luz means light in Spanish. Did you know luz means light? Cuz Luz is the light. Did you notice Luz is the light? I’m not sure they noticed Luz is the light, HEY LUZ IS THE LIGHT EVERYBODY! SHE’S THE LIGHT!”
