The first playlist is here, and it's for The Ultimate Mystery Incorporated! So, some songs are just vibes, sit specific scenes or characters (really just the main 5- Byakuya, Kyoko, Leon, Sayaka, and Hiro). Some are technically even spoilery... And it's really all kinds of music (well, mainly what I listen to but shhh) expect Miracle Musicle to Tangled The Series songs. I'm not joking.

Not gonna go into detail for each song though- only if you really want to know, then you can send an ask. Or try to guess yourselves... Oh, and knowing me, more songs will get added in the future.

People... I have a little question... should I maybe make some playlists for my fics? Just some songs that fit the vibe and all?

And maybe some character playlists too? Like, I feel like I could give the TUMI main 5- Byakuya, Kyoko, Leon, Sayaka, and Hiro- a playlist of their own together with TUMI in general. Maybe for Makoto and Chihiro in the fantasy AU too... Emiko and Miyuki too ofc.

Might also get me back to writing these damn fics again 💔 Though obviously the superman swap AU will also be there...

I know I'm late to the party with this, but I've recently watched My Adventures With Superman (spoilers ahead!!) and damn do I love the Lex we have there.

Unfortunately, I did already know that Alex was Lex, but still. His change is just so interesting to see, going from a mere assistant to the CEO of LexCorp so quickly only he could manage.

Not to mention that this is partly because of Jimmy. Superman's best friend created his worst enemy and that's just so argh in the best way possible.

He's also just a smug little bastard and if you know me, then that's exactly what I love. He's even better (AKA worse) than most of the older Lex's. It's still so clear he's Lex Luthor, but just with a new modern twist. Like, just look at him.

He's just so smug but also a bit deranged and I love him so much for that. I cannot wait until season 3 where he is gonna be so awful and petty.

Oh, and overworked too probably. Just look at him at the end of season 2 💔

A little thing about TUMI- because, yes, I am still thinking about danganronpa, I promise- is that like... almost everybody has some form on family issues... and then there's Hiro.

Like, the mist obvious ones are Byakuya and Kyoko with their stupid dads that gave them daddy issues. It's a whole plot point.

Then Sayaka doesn't really get along with either of her parents, with them very much not liking she's dating Leon... or really anything else she does.

Leon has to deal with Kanon, who is being a bit better, but still. And also a dad that really wants him to play baseball, and a mom that's never around him much.

But Hiro? He loves his mom and his mom loves him. Maybe that's why...

Not gonna finish that hehe... Might just be a spoiler...

I think there's a big chance we're gonna see Conner in the next live-action superman. Why?

Well, I have multiple reasons. Firstly, the movie- or the whole saga really- has been referred to as 'Super-Family'. Obviously that's Clark and Kara, but it could also mean more.

And, like, we know what Lex can do. He quite literally cloned Superman before. And you know what he did there? He pointed out that the clone was dumb.

So, what I might see him doing is... try again. But since a dumb clone didn't work, why not make one that's super smart... and what better way to do that than using his own DNA?

Though, this might be something that won't appear until a third movie (not counting the Supergirl movie) to have some focus away from Lex. Maybe do something at the very end with this, or as a post-credit scene- just to set things up.

Either way, I feel like we're gonna see Conner soon.

It's time to ramble about my version of Lex Luthor, AKA the one we see in I'm Gonna Get Ya. After all, he's very differently there, being the good guy and all.

Well, I wouldn't truly call him good. More like... morally grey. While he does want to see humanity at its best, and doesn't want to rule it himself, he still wants control. He still has certain views on how the world should be.

And that doesn't include Superman. Because here, he truly despises him. He knows that Superman is faking, that there is something hidden beneath his talks about hope.

He really sees Superman as a threat. Not to himself, but to humanity. Him wanting to take Superman down is truly to protect humanity. It's just... that he does still believe that it has to be him.

Lex knows how other people act, how easily they can be convinced with lies. So, if anybody has to take Superman down, it has to be him. And he has no qualms about getting dirty needing to do so.

Because while Lex would rather not have people get hurt, it doesn't mean he won't do it. He'll have people killed if needed- anything to rid the world of the danger that is Superman.

But also... he does care. Not about a lot of people, but some. He is kinder here, more human. Not that much that he feels like a whole different person, but just enough that it's clear that he's different.

That will mosrly get explored later on though... like in a potential sequel...

That's all though! Just needed to get this out of my system, yk. And... always open to rambling about my fic more. Or just this bald man in general.

I've been falling down a rabbit hole, but like... in a world where Conner and Lex sorta have contact with each other, I feel like he would be quite supportive of Conner revealing he's dating Tim.

Because Superman really only dates women. And that meand Conner isn't like Superman in that way.

AU where Conner is created and Lex raises him with love just so he can paint Superman as an absent father.

In 'I'm Gonna Get Ya' it isn't Lex that's gonna baby trap Clark, but Clark that's gonna baby trap Lex...
