âItâs a giants super max prison for all the worst of the worst criminals, so i guess in a way its like a restaurantâ Miles motioned Wally to the platform and pressed the button on the wall, lifting the elevator to the shed up above. âI donât suppose you have some sort of power dampener?â Miles slid his mask back on and checked his web canister. âHalf full, thatâll have to do.â
Miles opened the shed doors and sling shot himself out like a bullet from a gun, they had to get to Rykerâs before Electro. Miles could see the streak of lightning bellow him on the streets. âHey Karen can you patch me into Kid Flash down thereâ Within seconds Miles was patched in.Â
âHey KF you keeping up down there? I had my suits AI patch me into your coms, so now we can talk about that really good plan you had on taking down electro, before he possibly lets out the entirety of one of the most dangerous prisons in the planet.âÂ
spyxdmanâ:
âHuh⊠so you know Pete? I guess even you guys have a spideyâŠâ Miles turned his head and took his mask off. âYou seem cool and you already know about our safe house so here goes nothing. Names Miles and I was bit by a some interdimensional genetically enhanced spider. Iâm 16 and I actually really like the daily bugle even though its all fake fear mongering, I think its actually kinda funny.â Miles was relieved to actually be able to let someone know of his true identity, he always hated having to hide it from everybody. Heâs still getting used to all the lying.
âSo your girlfriend works for Stark industries? Thatâs a sweet gig, Guess its true that every universe has things that impact so deeply that they are constant through every one. Like stark and pete and pizza.â The screen on the super computer went red.Â
âThere he goes, looks like Electro is heading towards⊠No⊠Heâs heading towards Rykers. We have to get there before him.â
The kid was just going to de-mask like that?
âDude, you hardly know me.â He crossed his arms, a stern look crossing his face. He had practiced it on his younger cousin, and hopefully he looked a little like the mentors that he had taken after.Â
âYou shouldnât just give up your identity like that. But I guess if weâre getting comfortable, you can just call me Wally. Not in the field though. Iâm still Kid Flash. Thereâs no saying if thereâs actually a me over here.â Wally frowned, remembering how the multiple dimensions worked. He would love to track himself down and see how this version of him turned out.
Wally grabbed a slice of pizza, shrugging lightly in response. âSheâs Starkâs daughter. I canât wait to see his face when he realizes his daughter is dating Kid Flash.â He chuckled, mostly to himself because Miles wouldnât understand why thatâs so interesting.Â
He glanced at the screen, seeming to even move before the screen lit up. He may have not been born in hyper speed, but when his attention was focused, he could live in an instant.Â
âTowards Rykerâs? Is that like, a restaurant? Iâm gonna hold onto the hope that itâs a restaurant.â He Was ready to go, glancing at Miles. âHow do we-?â He pointed up. Was there a button? OrâŠ?

âHuh... so you know Pete? I guess even you guys have a spidey...â Miles turned his head and took his mask off. âYou seem cool and you already know about our safe house so here goes nothing.
Like stark and pete and pizza.â The screen on the super computer went red.Â
âThere he goes, looks like Electro is heading towards... No... Heâs heading towards Rykers. We have to get there before him.â
Wally sneered, taken aback by the kidâs frustration. He remembered reacting like that, feeling like the world was on his shoulders. And sure, maybe it was- They werenât allowed to act that way.Â
âLook, kid, I was discombobulated, and I saw someone falling from the sky. My first instinct was to get you out of there.â He crossed his arms, ready to defend his decision. And it wasnât as though the kid could get mad at him for probably saving his life. It was an easy decision that Barry would have stood behind.Â
He watched as Spider-man walked over to the computer, his eyes following him and gliding easily up to the screen. He tilted his head, a smirk covering his lips as he laughed softly.Â
âGetting that far is pretty good, but you wonât get any real information from there.â He grabbed a slice of pizza from the box as he slipped next to the kid and plugged in a flash drive.Â
âCertified Stark Tech, able to hack into any major or minor database, including Starkâs own work.â THe chip processed, cutting easily through the security, and images from the nearest satellite showed up on the screen. Waves and pulses of energy showed on a map, though nothing quite as strong as what would show up with a meta who could use electricity.Â
âPerks of having my girlfriend. Hey, so are you like, a meta? Or did you get bit by a spider like Pete?â He leaned against the computer, downing off his pizza. He supposed the kid didnât know that he knew his Spiderman. But he also didnât know if there was even a Peter Parker here.

âLET this get taken? Look dude I didn't exactly ask Doctor Octavius to come back and finish the job. I tried to handle it but when you have an indestructible guy like rhino and some new bad you've never seen before its a little bit much. Last time I checked you had super powers too and you could've easily secured the scene, but you didn't.â Miles was furious at the accusation, He was tired of being blamed for everything that goes wrong. His dad blamed him for the distance between them, Pete blamed him for getting involved with the whole crime fighting thing. Miles had no time to question all of this though, he had to make all this right whether everyone doubted him or not.Â
âLook we can argue later on why all this happened but right now lets focus on the mission. If we fail people will die... plus my dads will kill me.â Miles walked over to the spider computer. âOkay so now that we know what it does maybe we can find a way to track them.â Miles hacked through the Stark Energy database. âOkay so we have a lead, if we can find an surge of electricity in the city we can track down electro. Heâs a part of the sixers so hopefully where we find shock face we find our serum... Okay so Iâm inside the Stark energy servers. what they see I see, Okay so I don't see our guy yet but if we wait heâll show up... so if youâre gonna be nice now you can have some pizza.â Miles webbed the box to his lap and flipped open the lid. âPineapple ham and some daily bugle while we wait Mr. Flash?â Miles said in his best waiters voice.
Wally stood back, gazing quizzically at the kid, wondering what he was talking about. He followed into the shed, his breath hitching. This was not a good situation for someone with claustrophobia.Â
He almost didnât pay attention to what Miles was saying as he silently begged to get out of there. Though he wasnât trapped, it sure felt like it. He almost ran back outside as the floor dropped down beneath him. His mouth twitched into a lopsided smile as the walls widened around them.Â
âThis is sweet!â He glanced around, taking in as much of his surroundings as he could as they moved down. At the mention of the wifi, He signed in immediately.Â
âWhereâs number one?â He asked, jokingly. His computer pinged as the analyzation processed. âToo late, I got it already. This isâŠâ He read the results, a frown creasing into his face.
âThis takes DNA and reads it. Do you realize what this is? Potentially, this could literally cure diseases. This is,â he let out a whistle, impressed by what he was seeing, âThis is totally deadly.â
He shook his head, urgency kicking in. Whoever had this formula could turn the body on itself, kill hundreds- thousands- without touching a single person. He glanced over at Spider-man, turning his computer towards the other so he could read. He couldnât let this get out, and he definitely couldnât let this get brought home. Not in the wrong hands. If he gave the serum to Tahlia, she could complete it and they could save hundreds. He had to get it.
âHow did you let this get taken?â

Miles walked up to the shed outside aunt Mayâs house, this was the first time he had ever brought anyone to the spider cave. If Pete ever found out Miles was dead and he knew it. Miles raised his arms outside the shed.
âWelcome to my lab, itâs no Stark tower but it does the job. You have to promise that you wonât tell anyone about this, I think you understand that i canât have people here, my mentor would kill me.â Miles laid his hand down on the handle. âPrepare to be amazed.âÂ
Miles flung the door open revealing a room full of tools and gardening supplies. âCome on in, for someone with super speed you sure are moving slow.â Miles squeezed passed to a secret panel behind the lawn mower. âHm you smell like fries, do you guys have a big belly burger? That place is the best.â Miles laid his hand on the scanner and the floor began to lower to the spider cave below.Â
âThe password to the wifi is TheSpideyBois2, Okay so I have a small vial of that Devils Breath here. Iâll start analyzing this, can you like just not touch anything?â Miles was gonna be in so much trouble, he needed to find out what these guys were up to and soon.
Wally scoffed, put off by the kidâs abruptness.Â
âIâve dealt with a lot worse. Almost died a few times. A plan really only needs the basics, the rest is purely winging it. Especially if you arenât sure what youâre up against. Iâve been doing this for about ten years, so if either of us knows whatâs going on, itâs me.â It was almost offensive that this kid thought that Wally wasnât aware of the situation. For all of the times that he and his team had stopped several big bads on their own. Even ones the league had difficulty with.
Wally crossed his arms as the kid hopped off. He wasnât thinking things through, or maybe he was thinking too much. All he knew was that his minor problem of getting back home had just turned into a major problem. On top of stopping Hydra from crossing universes, there was a mess going on here, and if the Light took that serum home, Tahlia would murder him.Â
If he could analyze the serum, he could trace it, especially if it contained a radiated chemical. He knelt down, scanning for a trace of the devilâs breath. His computer was offline, but managed to pick up a trace of the substance.Â
The kid returned and Wally stood up straight, the components processing on his computer, refusing to load. âWell, if youâve got Wi-Fi, I could use that. Although to be honest, Iâm not sure if my computer will even connect properly, Itâs connected to the League computer.â He shifted, nodding his head lightly, âBut pizza sounds good. You got any Hawaiian pizza?â

âDefinitely not spider abilities, more like 4 giant, slimy, gross robot arms.â Miles said as he stood up looking for any sign of other sixers.Â
âHey look KF I appreciate your enthusiasm, but you don't really get whatâs happening right now so ill give you a quick debrief. Doc Oc, Rhino, Sandman, Electro, Mysterio and Chameleon are some of the biggest badâs that this city has ever seen. So imagine you take this all star team and unleash them with some chemical, that I actually don't know exactly what it does but its not good, and then you lump them in with some team called the light which is obviously not good either. so I don't think this plan is as easy as you make it sound.â Miles was pacing, his mind reeling with possibilities of what was planned.Â
âThe only lead we have is they will be somewhere in Times Square tomorrow but now that they have the Devils breathe that might change.â Miles sighed in exhaust. âI have to make a call.â Miles dialed the number in his phone and webbed himself to the opposite side of the room.Â
âHey mom!... No of course I remembered dinner tonight... yeah...No hey mom no voy a venir ... I just have a lot of homework tonight and I...SĂ© que dad estarĂĄ decepcionado, pero eso no serĂa lo primero... Look Iâm sorry mom but Iâll make it up to you guys I promise. te quiero Tambien mom. bye.â Miles hung up and webbed himself back to KF.Â
âSorry extreme spider problems. So we should go head over to my lab and analyze this devils breathe chemical and see just what kind of fire power we are working with, then we can go get a pizza and stakeout times square.âÂ
Wally gazed quizzically at the boy, curiosity growing slightly. He followed behind the spider, his mind reeling. If he had dealt with dimension hopping before, maybe it was destiny for Wally to appear before him. But Wally didnât believe in destiny. It was just pure, dumb luck.Â
The kid seemed to talk as quickly as Wally himself did, at least before he finally realized that talking before thinking usually got you punched. âThe light is a major villain league, the justice league is the major hero league, and no, I donât do fire. I donât have a lot of good experiences with fire, either. Too many near death experiences. Wally shuffled, grinning. âWeb warriors? Sounds like youâre trying too hard.âÂ
He watched as the kid left the room in a hurry, wanting to laugh. It was ridiculous how much he could see himself in this kid. It was adorable, and cringy. Teenagers are crazy. He followed behind, using the street instead of the buildings. He arrived at the warehouse, leaning against a wall. It was weird, watching someone else in action.
It was best that Wally stay to the side. He hadnât had much use in the field for a while, and this wasnât his turf.
âOctavius? Let me guess. More spider abilities? Definitely something eight. Bet she has eight heads.â He laughed, feeling a tad bit more at ease. This kid had himself together, and it didnât seem as if Wally would be babysitting. He remembered his first year with Bart. His cousin was a good runner, but fighting was less his cup of tea. It didnât stop him from running headfirst into battle with no plan.Â
That may have just been a teenager thing.
âSo we track down this doctor, and we can find this serum, maybe the big bad that we need, I go home. Bada-bing bada-boom.â He shook his head, cringing.

âIt wouldn't be the first time Iâve seen an accidental travel through dimensions, but hey whoâs the âLightâ you mentioned them earlier.â Miles noticed the man starting to play with his ring but before he could react he changed into a super suit.Â
âWoah Kid flash? I like that name. Do people call you flash? or Kid? oh Iâll just call you KF.â Miles jumped back with excitement and webbed himself to the window. âSo howâd you get yours? Radioactive spider? what can you do? I bet you have fire abilities huh? you look like a fire guy.â Miles sat on the window sill and swung his legs. âWho are these justices league guys you keep mentioning? Is that your team? I don't really have a team... I mean I have my mentor too but that's about it. I guess you could consider us your web warriors.â
âWait!â Miles jumped to his feet and webbed himself out the window. He flung himself as fast as he could towards the warehouse. When he was outside he stopped dead in his tracks. âNo! Its gone!â Miles swung himself inside and saw that all the crates of dragons breath were gone. It couldn't have been Rhino or Grundy. KF said they were out cold, maybe it was someone in the sinister six, or this Light team. Miles looked at the dust tracks from the earlier fight.Â
âHey Spider lens you awake?â Miles tapped his eye lenses â match these tracks with known criminals in our database.â Miles kneeled down and scanned the tracks, these had to be from a member. Miles glanced at the notification on his Heads up display. âDoctor Octavius... She must have circled back to check on tweedle dee and tweedle dum. This is really bad.â
Wally turned his head to look at the kid before returning to his problem with a roll of his eyes. Old was Barry, Wally wasnât near that.
âIâm from New York if thatâs what youâre asking. Sort of.â His eye widened slightly as the kid recognized the equation. Maybe he was smarter than he sounded. Though genius and the inability to focus seemed to go hand in hand. Wally frowned as the spider stole his rock. That was new.Â
âHundred and nineteen joules?â Wallyâs mind was reeling as he put the pieces together. âThatâs about five miles a second. Just adding up to⊠So the explosion was the device working! If we can stabilize the matter, we could essentially control it!â He grinned, the accomplishment soaking in. He couldnât wait to bring this information back home. All he had to do was recreate Tahliaâs fake boom tube. He placed his hands on his hips, glancing back at the kid.Â
âI hope you know the travel part was an accident. But if the Light has made it here, I canât turn down the chance to make their plans blow up in their faces again.â He watched as the kid raised his hand. He took it, grinning.Â
âAlright, but one condition. You have to get me the tech to create my ride back home.â He dropped his hand, pressing the release on his ring and putting on his suit before the kid could blink.Â
âAlso, the nameâs Kid Flash, not old man. Iâd appreciate if you donât compare me to my mentor, thanks. You really donât have a justice league?â

âEstablished? You mean that you think Iâm too young to handle this? Look old man I can take care of myself and not that its any of your business but I am established. Iâm Spiderman, you know?â Miles started to get frustrated. Why did everyone seem to think he couldn't do this? Either way he didn't have time to argue, even if he wanted to, Pete was out there alone and he needed his help.Â
He needed to regroup, he needed to think. Miles remembered this guy saying to âtake him backâ and he also knew Grundyâs name and that he was a bigger problem than miles was expecting. That can only add up to one thing, this guy had to be from another earth... It wouldn't have been the weirdest thing that miles had seen.Â
âHey are you from around here?â Miles said, zipping to the wall the man was writing on. He sat turned his head to look at the mans face and then faced forward to see the equation he was writing. âWoah, hey this is an equation on interdimensional travel! You aren't from here! Cool! Hey do you have pizza on your earth?â Miles noticed something off about the equation, it just didn't look finished. âHey hold on.â Miles crawled across the wall to the other side of the equation. âTheoretically speaking your equation could âbeam me up scottyâ but you forgot to calculate for the energy to mass ratio, if you had enough energy, lets say about an extra 119.0325 joules, you could essentially turn this from a localized travel to well... yeah you get it.â Miles webbed the rock into his grip and filled in the missing piece.Â
âHey so if you really are from another earth and you really do know this Grundy guy, that means heâs from your place, so help me figure out what heâs doing here. please.â Miles looked at him and stepped off the wall and stood straight up with him. âIf youâre smart enough to travel here maybe you can help us take these guys down.â Miles extended his hand. âSo what do you say?â
Wally followed the kid to the window. Bundy? Was he listening to anything Wally had just said?Â
âNo, you need to get me to someone established. What about Wayne? Have you got a Bruce Wayne?â Wally rolled his eyes as the kid refused to focus. Had he been like this? He had definitely been life this. He glanced out at the warehouse where he had caught the kid. He hadnât even noticed they had gotten far, and he forgot that he would probably have to explain it. Though the kid seemed to explain everything himself.
Wally grabbed him by the shoulders to hold him in place.Â
âLook, thatâs handled. Grundy isnât hard to deal with once heâs down, and that guy you know was knocked out cold. Theyâre being handled by the police for now. I need you to tell me what Grundy is doing here.âÂ
If he could figure that out, he could take Grundy back and shut it down from the leadership level. Grundy was a grunt. Wally snickered, âHeâs grunt-y get it?â He laughed, nudging the kid as he walked to the nearest wall, pulling a rock off the ground. Writing some equations, he frowned. His speed must have combined with the wannabe-boom tube in a way that they couldnât foresee. On the plus side, Wally could cross dimensions now. And all he wanted to do was get back.
Did they even have a Tahlia here? His team? His family?

Miles was lost but glad he was leaning against the cold concrete wall. âGet you back? look I know you are a concerned citizen but trust me this is nothing that your neighborhood spidermen canât handle. So you know this Bundy guy.? I need to know anything you know.âÂ
Miles felt something odd with this guy, he couldn't tell what it was but he felt weird. When he touched his arm it was almost like he scrambled his life force. âHey who are the justice league?â Miles stood up straight and dusted off his suit. With one motion he zipped himself to the window and opened it to catch a glimpse of his location.Â
âOkay the warehouse is about 3 blocks from here, wait... did I fall this far? wow...â Miles checked his Spider watch and noticed its been about 15 minutes. âWoah! its been 15 minutes! I have to find these big bads and get them back to Rykers.â
Wally spun, looking at the guy⊠Kid? He sounded young, and he was pretty sure his spiderman was his own age.Â
He stepped forward as the kid stood up, Wally lifted his hands, wanting to help, but he was clearly uncomfortable. âHow old are you? Wait- So youâve seen Grundy? I canât figure out what heâs doing here. But if heâs here, then the Light has been using the boom tube tech. Though I thought the boom tube was localized. So-â He paused, raising an eyebrow at the kid.Â
âHey, youâre not out here alone, right?â It was bad enough that this issue had seemed to spread cross-dimension, and now this kid was getting involved in something way over his head.
He stepped forward, lightly grabbing the kidâs arm and guiding him to lean against the wall. âLook, if Grundy is here, thereâs a lot more at stake than you think. You donât need to be getting involved in it, so if you can lead me to someone who can get me back, I can shut this down as soon as possible. Can you take me to the Justice League?â He stared, a questioning look in his eyes. âIâd even accept the Avengers at this point.â
