If u want to write a story about a character that's just you but hotter with a dark twisted backstory and magical powers and a pet falcon or something, I think u should just go ahead and do that. Who's gonna stop you? The government?? Fuck the police.

A Stand Your Ground vampire gets sued.

You are the first ever completely ethical vampire: you post the terms and conditions of trespassing, make it clear in the memo that said people are subject to be fed on… You can safely say that humanity’s stupidity has kept you alive for thousands of years.

The mc ends up going on a magical adventure in the forested hills behind the village and past the shrine. A grand epic through the eyes of a child fully experiencing nature, perhaps for the first time. I may do this one.

*edit* Orrrr it could be a horrific journey through the haunted forest behind the shrine of a disrespected god. You're in his domain and reality means very little here.

*Edit of the edit* Alternatively it could be a story of both. Siblings, perhaps twins, who, after being bullied and taking refuge in the forest during a field trip, were inevitably separated and have VERY different experiences, the point of view switching between their paralleled juxtaposed circumstances. In the end both having come out of it for the better, having learned exactly what each needed to.

Wholesome Pov child 1: is jaded and believes nothing will help them. But ends up believing in magic and that at least trying to ask for help is worth it. They aren't alone and should stop acting like it. Things will get better.

Horror Pov child 2: is frightened of EVERYTHING and so is too afraid to fight back. They come out of the forest learning to fight for themselves, destined sword in hand. They realize that blind fear and cowering won't help them out of their problems.

I'm definitely writing this one.

This is the start of my first non-kit embroidery attempt. I found a huge box of stamps from the 80s and 90s while antique hunting in local thrift stores and got inspired by the premade kits I used to buy. Let's see how this turns out!
