Did you know that fiction affects reality? Wait, wait, not like that. I don’t mean that in an antishipper way. I mean that by exploring taboos in fiction instead of in real life, people can be happier by fulfilling the desire to explore taboos without hurting anyone irl!

I think it’s important to differentiate between irl and fiction in terms of problematic / taboo topics, but other than that I think we should let fiction be whatever it’s going to be. At the end of the day you can’t possible censor all taboo media. You just can’t. So I think it’s best for those who don’t like taboo media to distance themselves from it, and those who indulge in it to just be. Censorship is bad for the internet on general principal. Also, taboo media can be comforting to victims of said taboos.
