An idea I got for how tinies could get on humanity's good side is by getting jobs on a farm as pest control.

Would they eat the pests they kill? Even if they didn't, the humans would probably pay the tinies.

They had given themselves this self-proclaimed title and had wormed their existence deep into your life despite your efforts. You've even mistakenly grown attached to your doom.

You're well aware that, at this point, being an afternoon snack is merely imminent. But why has your "friend" still not taken a bite? Surely they're big enough by now... they could comfortably carry you in their palms as they please and do so regularly.

Waiting any longer will only result in a larger apatite, and you know them well enough to know they aren't one for cautious waiting... but then, whats stopping them from taking you? They did it to all your other friends. There were once 5 of you, now it's just you 2. When will you be next?

I could never eat you, your kindness is so genuine, and your judgment is too kind. There aren't enough people like you around, my only friend... I love you dearly.

Even if my motivations are misunderstood, and my appearance is misleading, my words are sincere. Thank you for letting me become close to you, for giving me the chance to speak up without worry of abandonment... like the others who left without saying goodbye, seemingly forgetting you all together because of what I am...

I do hope that one day your fear may subside, so I no longer must feel you tremble in my hands or grow uneasy whenever I smile. My diet is no longer human flesh. Your affection feeds me plenty. :)
