“Only You”
Yugo x Princess!Reader (Reader-insert)
Genre: Romance | Comedy | Magical Hijinks | Post-Season 4
Setting: After the battles have ended — your peaceful sky kingdom, Atheria
Part I: One Spell Too Many
The Brotherhood of the Tofu had earned a bit of a reputation.
Not just as heroes of the World of Twelve — no, that was old news. By now, they were also known as magnets for magical mishaps, curses, accidental time travel, and the occasional talking vegetable.
So really, it wasn’t a surprise when this happened.
You were visiting an old ruin with the group — a forgotten temple perched high in the floating isles near your kingdom. Your sky-born homeland of Atheria shimmered in the distance, and you, Princess of the Skies, were enjoying the fresh wind as Yugo knelt in front of a mysterious pedestal.
“Hmm,” he muttered. “Weird runes. These don’t look like Sadida script…”
“Yugo, maybe don’t touch that one,” Amalia warned, already stepping back.
“I’m not touching it,” he huffed.
Then his finger slipped.
Just a tap against the glyph.
A flash of light. A poof of smoke.
And there, in the middle of the ancient stone floor…
Was a baby.
Tiny, soft, fuzzy-haired… and unmistakably Yugo.
He blinked up at everyone with wide, golden eyes.
Silence.
“…He’s adorable,” Ruel whispered.
Amalia blinked. “I’m going to scream.”
Part II: The Clingiest Baby in the World
At first, no one panicked. This wasn’t new, after all. Magical transformations happened twice a month, on average.
“He’ll be fine,” Evangelyne said, scooping the baby into her arms with practiced grace. “We just need to find a reversal glyph.”
But then…
Yugo started to scream.
Not a little fuss. Not a pout.
A full-on, horrified wail, like the world had ended and someone had stolen his last Tofu nugget.
“Oh, spirits,” Eva winced, trying to bounce him.
The screaming got worse.
“I think I’m going deaf,” Ruel groaned, clutching his ears.
Amalia stepped forward. “Let me try.”
She reached out — only for Yugo’s face to crumple like a Sadida bloom in winter. Tears poured down. Arms flailed. He turned beet red and kicked wildly.
“Nope, nope!” Eva passed him to Amalia.
The result? More screaming.
Every time someone tried to hold him, or feed him, or even so much as look him in the eye — he shrieked like someone was boiling his hat.
“I think he hates us,” Ruel muttered.
Then, like magic, you stepped forward.
“Let me try.”
They hesitated — then handed him over.
The moment your hands wrapped around his tiny body, he stopped crying. Instantly.
His little fists relaxed. His sniffles quieted. He blinked at you… and then gave the softest, happiest little giggle anyone had ever heard.
He snuggled into your arms and promptly fell asleep, cheek against your collarbone.
Everyone stared in disbelief.
“…What just happened?” Amalia asked.
“He imprinted on her,” Evangelyne said with wide eyes. “Like a duckling.”
“Or a Dragoturkey chick,” Ruel added.
“He’s decided,” you said softly, smiling down at the little Eliatrope in your arms. “I’m the only one he wants.”
Part III: The Baby King’s Demands
From that moment on, Baby Yugo became the most dramatic, clingy, jealous infant in the entire Krosmoz.
Whenever anyone besides you tried to:
Hold him?
Crying.
Feed him?
Wailing.
Rock him?
Instant meltdown.
Touch his blanket?
Tears, betrayal, shrieking.
Even look at you for too long?
Pouting.
“Okay, this is getting ridiculous,” Amalia said on Day Two. “I waved at her, and he glared at me. Glared! Babies aren’t supposed to glare!”
“I offered him food,” Ruel added. “You know what he did? He smacked the spoon out of my hand and crawled behind her like a Greedovore.”
“He growled at me,” Evangelyne said, arms crossed. “Growled.”
Meanwhile, you had a baby Yugo glued to your side.
If you sat down, he curled up in your lap. If you tried to stand, he clung to your cloak. He’d cry if you went more than ten feet away — no exaggeration. One time you stepped out to change, and they all reported it as “the loudest five minutes of their lives.”
But to you?
He was sweet. Lovable. Devoted in the most innocent, clingy way imaginable.
When he cried in the middle of the night, it was only your voice that soothed him.
When he tried to portal-crawl (horrifying), he always reappeared right next to your feet.
When he smiled — really smiled — it was only for you.
And in those quiet moments, when he tucked his tiny head under your chin, his hand curled around your finger, or he fell asleep with that soft little sigh?
You couldn’t deny it.
Even like this, he still remembered you.
Part IV: The Spell Breaks (and Feelings Stay)
On the fifth day, the magical effects started to fade.
Yugo’s glow returned. His hat floated back into place. He grew, inch by inch, until the baby in your arms was gone — and in his place was the boy-king again, taller now, voice lower, a little confused.
He blinked, disoriented. “Wha—? What happened?”
Everyone froze.
You looked at him carefully. “Do you… remember anything?”
He opened his mouth — then closed it. Blushed.
“I remember everything.”
A pause.
“So… the crying,” Amalia deadpanned. “The tantrums. The fact that you literally screamed if anyone but her looked at you—”
Yugo covered his face with his hands. “I had no control! Baby brain!”
“You hissed at me like a Bow Meow!” Evangelyne added.
“I imprinted, okay!?” he blurted. Then immediately turned to you. “On you. And… I think part of me already had.”
Your heart stilled.
“You meant a lot to me before that spell,” he said, softer now, voice real. “But something about being like that — so vulnerable — and still knowing I wanted you near me? It kind of… confirmed everything.”
You stepped closer. “And what does everything mean?”
He looked down. Then back up.
“That I like you,” he said. “I really like you. Even if I drooled on your shirt for three days straight.”
You laughed, warm and full.
“And I like you too, even if you cried when I gave you to Amalia for five seconds.”
He stepped closer, shy but hopeful.
“Next time I need holding…” he said, “would it be okay if I still came to you?”
You took his hand.
“Always.”
Epilogue: Portal Baby, Revisited
One week later, Yugo sneezed near another ancient rune.
Poof. Baby again.
The others groaned.
You just smiled, arms already open.
“Come here, my little king.”
And this time?
He squealed happily and flung himself right into your arms.
Because no matter what shape he took, Yugo only wanted one place to be.
With you.

"Falling Into You"
Yugo x Reader | Genre: Romance, Fluff, Emotional Tension

It had started as an accident.
You didn’t mean to fall—literally—onto Yugo.
The Brotherhood had been invited to the annual Sky Summit Festival, held atop the high-floating Isles of Ventara. You, being newer to the crew, had never been this far up in the sky before, and the gravity was… slippery.
You’d been walking across a narrow cloud bridge—beautiful but very much not solid—when your foot caught on a curl of mist. You yelped, arms flailing, and started to fall off the edge.
Until someone caught you.
Fast.
Strong arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you against a warm chest as you landed hard—on top of Yugo, who now lay flat on his back on the soft clouds.
“W-Whoa!” you breathed, still clutching his shoulders.
“You alright?” Yugo asked, blinking up at you, his hands still on your waist.
Your face flushed. You were nose to nose with the king of awkward emotional tension himself, his dark brown eyes wide and… kind of pretty, actually.
“Y-Yeah,” you mumbled, quickly rolling off him, “Sorry! That was— I didn’t mean to—”
He sat up slowly, brushing his hair back, grinning. “Well, at least if I’m gonna get knocked over, it’s by someone cute.”
You blinked. “…What?”
He blinked too. Then turned beet red. “I-I mean—! I didn’t mean to say that out loud!”
You stared at him, stunned, lips slowly curling into a smile. “So… you think I’m cute?”
He groaned and buried his face in his hands. “I was trying to play it cool…”
“Well, you failed,” you teased gently, “but in a very flattering way.”
He peeked through his fingers. “I’ve been trying to figure out how to talk to you for weeks. Every time I get close you either vanish into training with Evangelyne or Chibi jumps in talking about bread.”
You laughed softly. “So you do notice me?”
“Of course I do,” Yugo said honestly. “You… calm the storm. Even when everything’s chaotic. I feel grounded when you’re around. And not just ‘cause you literally fell on me.”
Your heart fluttered.
The sunset bathed the clouds in gold, and the wind whispered soft promises between the two of you. You scooted closer to him, not quite touching.
“You didn’t have to fall,” Yugo said quietly, “for me to catch feelings.”
You looked up at him, surprised. “Yugo…”
He held out his hand. “Want to fall again? Just… this time, on purpose?”
You hesitated—then smiled, shy but warm, and took his hand.
“Only if you promise to catch me.”
He laced his fingers with yours. “Always.”

"Stuck on You"
Wakfu Fanfiction – Yugo x Reader (Princess!Reader)
Genre: Romance, Fluff, Humor, Magic Mishap
Setting: After Season 4

The Sadida Kingdom was as quiet and calm as ever.
You, the crowned princess of your kingdom and ally to the Brotherhood of the Tofu, were curled up on a plush velvet chair by the garden window, your eyes scanning a scroll, though your mind was elsewhere — with him.
Yugo.
He and the Brotherhood had gone on a mission to investigate a magical artifact found in a distant ruin — supposedly dormant, but too risky to ignore. You had wanted to go with them, but being royalty came with responsibilities. And so, you’d stayed behind, waiting impatiently, quietly missing the Eliatrope more than you dared admit.
You didn’t even realize how tightly you were holding the rolled-up scroll until the castle gates flung open and a loud voice echoed through the corridor.
“Somebody better bring water, tea, or I dunno — a shovel! We just carried a lovesick baby king across half the continent!”
You jumped to your feet, rushing to the main hall.
There they were — Dally, hauling Yugo over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, Amalia, red-faced and flustered, and Evangelyne, who looked half-exhausted and half-amused.
Yugo was squirming in Dally’s grip, reaching out toward you.
“Put me down!” he whined, his voice almost dreamily dramatic. “Let me see her!”
“What happened?” you gasped, your eyes locking on Yugo, who — the moment he spotted you — lit up like the sun.
He teleported out of Dally’s hold in a flash of blue light and reappeared directly in front of you. Before you could react, he threw his arms around your waist, hugging you tightly, his face burying into your shoulder.
“I missed you so much,” he whispered, as if the world had ended and you were the only one left in it. “You’re warm… and you smell like flowers…”
You stood frozen. Your heart was hammering. “Yugo…?”
Dally plopped down nearby, exhausted. “So, here’s the story,” he said, flapping his hand. “We were investigating that creepy temple ruin, right? We find this old rune-covered orb, Yugo touches it like a doofus, and BAM! A blast of golden light hits him, and the guy turns into a walking, talking love poem. But only for you.”
“Wait, what?”
“I kid you not,” Dally said, chuckling. “‘I miss her,’ ‘I need her,’ ‘she’s my sunshine,’ ‘she has the prettiest laugh I’ve ever heard.’ That was every fifteen minutes for the last two days.”
Amalia groaned. “He wouldn’t eat. Wouldn’t sleep. Wouldn’t teleport us home unless we swore you were still waiting for him.”
“Guys,” Evangelyne added, “he growled at a flower merchant who asked if we needed help. Growled.”
Yugo was still clinging to you, eyes soft and drowsy, as if he hadn’t seen you in years. “I thought about you the whole time,” he mumbled. “They tried to give me soup, but it didn’t taste like anything. I wanted you.”
Your cheeks were on fire.
“I think he’s under some kind of spell,” Eva said, stepping closer.
Yugo didn’t look at her. Instead, his arms tightened around you as he pulled you behind him, shielding you with his body like a grumpy, possessive puppy. “Don’t touch her.”
Eva blinked. “Okay, then…”
The Affection Spell: Day 1
It was decided that Yugo would stay in the castle under your care until the spell wore off. Which sounded simple… until you realized what that actually meant.
“Why are you in my bed?”
“I can’t sleep unless I hear your breathing.”
“You have a room right next to mine!”
“But that one doesn’t have you in it…”
The Eliatrope — normally composed and level-headed — was now full of affection and drama. He followed you everywhere. He sat by your throne during meetings, glared at visiting nobles who even looked at you, and insisted on feeding you fruit in the garden.
Once, when a knight from a neighboring kingdom complimented your dress, Yugo teleported between you and the man, eyes glowing.
“She’s mine,” he said firmly. “Go find another one.”
The poor knight fled in terror.
The Affection Spell: Day 3
It was starting to get a lot.
“Yugo, I’m just going to the washroom. Alone.”
“I’ll wait outside the door,” he said with puppy eyes. “What if you get hurt? Or lonely?”
“...It’s a bathroom, not a dungeon!”
But despite the constant clinginess, there was something undeniably… sweet about it.
He blushed whenever you touched his hair.
He got jealous of butterflies that landed on your shoulder.
He cuddled into your side when you read him poetry in the courtyard, sighing like a love-struck bard.
And every time you tried to talk about the spell, he just shook his head.
“I don’t care if it’s a spell,” he whispered one night, lying next to you on your bed, hands tucked under his chin like a child. “It’s just giving me the courage to show what I always felt.”
You froze.
“What do you mean?”
He looked up at you with soft, vulnerable eyes.
“I’ve always loved you.”
You swallowed thickly, heart pounding. “You… what?”
Yugo nodded, serious. “I’ve been in love with you for so long. I just… never thought I had the right words. But now, I can’t stop saying it. And I don’t want to stop.”
The Aftermath
On the sixth day, the spell finally wore off.
You knew it had the moment he woke up and blinked at you from your bed — confused, groggy, and no longer magnetized to your side.
“Oh no,” he muttered. “What did I say? What did I do?”
You told him.
He covered his face, groaning. “Great. So I basically confessed everything I ever felt in front of everyone. Even Dally.”
You giggled softly. “Yup. Dally said if you said ‘I love her’ one more time, he was going to drop you in a lake.”
Yugo groaned louder.
But then you leaned in, placing your hand gently over his.
“Yugo?” you said, voice quiet.
He looked at you through his fingers. “Yeah?”
“I loved every second of it.”
He blinked. “Wait, you—?”
You nodded. “You don’t need a spell to tell me how you feel. But I hope you still mean it.”
He sat up, eyes wide.
“I do. More than anything.”
You smiled. “Then… I guess it’s my turn.”
And you kissed him — finally, after all the awkward stares, blushing declarations, and hilariously clingy days — and it felt so, so right

"Jealousy Looks Good on You, Yugo"
Setting: After Season 4, during a royal summit at the Sadida Kingdom. Kingdoms from all over the World of Twelve are in attendance… including yours.

The Sadida palace was alive with celebration. Colored banners rippled from tall windows, nobles and royals laughed over drinks, and the music of enchanted flutes echoed through the halls. You stood near a glowing fountain in a flowing silk outfit that shimmered like starlight, laughing at something Prince Liam of Zaria whispered in your ear.
Yugo watched from across the room.
Tight-lipped. Arms crossed. Quiet.
Evangelyne noticed first. “You okay there?”
“Fine,” he said quickly, looking away.
“You’ve crushed that goblet with your hand.”
Yugo blinked down at the shattered glass in his palm. “Huh.”
Dally laughed. “Yugo, man, you’re so obvious it’s painful.”
Amalia, sipping a drink, rolled her eyes. “Why don’t you just tell her?”
“She doesn’t like me like that,” Yugo mumbled, glancing over at you again. Prince Liam was offering you his arm. You took it with a soft smile. Yugo’s heart sank.
Evangelyne raised a brow. “You sure about that?”
“She treats me like a friend. Like a teammate.”
“She also talks about you constantly when you’re not around,” Amalia muttered into her glass.
But Yugo was too far gone, lost in his own thoughts. You looked radiant tonight. The way your eyes crinkled when you smiled, the way you tossed your hair over your shoulder when you laughed — it was driving him insane. And now you were laughing like that at Prince Liam’s dumb jokes?
He didn’t even realize he had started walking toward you.
Meanwhile…
“Prince Liam,” you said politely, trying to put a little distance between the two of you, “this has been a lovely chat.”
“But not as lovely as you,” he said, holding your hand. “Would you care to dance?”
Before you could reply, a hand gently — but firmly — landed on your lower back.
“I think she’s already taken,” said a familiar voice.
You turned. “Yugo?”
Liam raised a brow. “Taken?”
Yugo gave him a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. “She’s with me.”
You blinked. “Wait—”
Yugo’s hand found yours and he twined his fingers between yours, holding them possessively. You could feel his pulse — fast, nervous — but his expression was calm.
“Come dance with me,” he said gently, looking into your eyes.
You were too stunned to argue.
On the dance floor…
The music slowed. Lights dimmed. Couples swayed in elegant rhythm.
“Yugo,” you said quietly as he pulled you close, “what was that?”
“What was what?”
“You grabbing my hand like you’re claiming me from Liam like a jealous boyfriend or something.”
“I’m not jealous.”
“...Yugo.”
He sighed. “Okay. I might be a little jealous.”
You smiled, unable to help it. “Why?”
“Because he looks at you like he knows he could have you if he tried hard enough,” Yugo muttered, not meeting your eyes.
“Maybe he can’t.”
Yugo blinked. “What?”
You shrugged, a playful smile on your lips. “Maybe I only like boys who can open portals and wear blue hats.”
Yugo flushed. “So… you do like me?”
“I don’t dance with just anyone,” you whispered.
He smirked then. “I knew it.”
“I also don’t let just anyone get away with being jealous.”
His eyes gleamed. “So I’m not ‘just anyone’?”
You leaned in. “Not even close.”
The rest of the world melted away. The music faded. You didn’t even notice Prince Liam watching from across the ballroom, jaw slack.
Because right then, it was just you and Yugo. His hands on your waist. Yours on his shoulders. His lips inching closer.
And finally — finally — a kiss that felt like the answer to every question you’d both been too afraid to ask.

"Yugo, Baby Daddy (Sort Of)"
Pairing: Yugo x Reader
Setting: Post-Season 4, at Eva and Dally’s house
Genre: Comedy, Fluff, Chaos, Misunderstandings

I. The Setup: One Sister, One Lie, One Baby
Yugo was still dreaming about the night you left.
The stolen kiss.
The warmth of your body against his.
The soft way you whispered goodbye as you left for your one-year mission, promising to return soon.
He waited every day.
He trained harder, took more missions, protected his people, but a part of him missed you—achingly.
Then she appeared.
Charlotte.
Your sister.
A smirk curling on her lips and a baby in her arms.
“Hey Yugo,” she chirped, dropping the child into his arms before he could blink. “This is your kid.”
“…What?” he blinked, looking down at the little boy blinking curiously up at him.
“Yeah. Reader told me to bring him to you but said not to contact her—she’s busy with mission stuff. His name’s Liam, by the way.”
“I have a—wait—my kid?”
“You heard me. Take responsibility. I’ll be back in a bit to pick him up!”
And with a whirl of her cloak, Charlotte ran.
“…What just happened?” Yugo whispered to the baby, who promptly grabbed a fistful of his hair.
II. Operation “What Do I Do With a Baby?”
Yugo did what any emotionally panicked, suspiciously fathered 18-year-old king would do.
He ran straight to Eva’s house.
The Brotherhood was already there when he arrived — perfect.
Eva opened the door and gasped. “Yugo? Is that—wait, whose baby is that?”
Yugo, absolutely pale, muttered, “Apparently… mine and [Your Name]’s?”
There was a silence.
Then, the explosion.
“WHAT?!”
Percedal grabbed the baby first. “Are you sure? You don’t even look like you—okay wait, he kinda has your eyes.”
Ruel: “He has more hair than you did at his age, Yugo.”
Elely: “He’s so cuuuute!! Can I hold him?!”
Yugo held Liam close like a mama dragon. “NO. He’s mine. I mean, he’s [Your Name]’s too. And I have to protect him.”
Amalia narrowed her eyes. “Wait. You and her—did you two…?”
Yugo blushed deep red. “That’s not important! What matters is that we apparently have a baby and I have no idea what I’m doing.”
Eva sighed and motioned him inside. “Sit down. Let the real parents show you how it’s done.”
III. Chaos and Cuteness Ensue
The rest of the day was a comedy of errors.
Liam cried every time someone other than Yugo held him.
Yugo tried to change a diaper. Once. The bathroom is now under quarantine.
Percedal taught Liam how to swing a sword made of spoons.
Elely dressed him in baby Sadida armor and took 500 pictures.
Ruel kept trying to charge people 5 kamas just to look at the baby.
Amalia stood in the corner silently calculating if this meant Yugo was off the market forever.
Yugo, meanwhile, became obsessed.
“Is he too warm?”
“Do babies eat apples?”
“Wait, can he teleport yet—oh no, he disappeared, HE’S GONE—oh wait, he’s behind the couch.”
IV. Charlotte’s Return… And the Truth
Just as Liam fell asleep curled in Yugo’s lap, Charlotte walked back in.
Yugo glared at her with wild, sleep-deprived eyes. “Where were you?! He wouldn’t stop crying!”
Charlotte smirked. “Aw, poor little Yugo. Don’t worry, I’m back to pick him up—”
“Wait, you’re taking him?”
“Well, yeah. He’s my baby brother, remember?”
Yugo blinked. “Wait—your brother?”
Eva, Dally, and Amalia screamed in the background.
Charlotte smiled innocently. “Yeah. You didn’t actually think you and [Your Name] had a secret baby, right?”
He stared. “You—YOU TOLD ME—”
“I said he was yours. Didn’t say I wasn’t lying.”
Yugo looked like he aged 30 years.
V. Later That Night…
You returned that night. Battle-worn, exhausted, and craving a long nap in your own bed.
You walked into Eva’s house to see the entire Brotherhood passed out — Yugo, slumped in a chair, snoring with baby Liam on his chest, and Charlotte, eating a pastry in the corner.
You blinked. “What happened here?”
Charlotte smiled, sipping tea.
“Oh nothing. Just some quality bonding between King Yugo and his son.”
Your eyes narrowed. “Charlotte…”
“Hey, he was getting cocky. This was funny. Look how attached he is now!”
You looked at Yugo — one hand curled protectively over Liam, his mouth barely murmuring your name in his sleep.
Despite everything, your heart melted.
VI. Epilogue: Maybe Someday
Yugo woke up to find you beside him, watching him.
“You’re back,” he said groggily.
“I heard you had a wild day.”
He groaned. “You have no idea.”
You smiled. “He looked good in your arms.”
Yugo blinked. “What?”
You kissed his cheek. “I said he looked good. Almost as good as our real baby might, someday.”
His jaw dropped.
You winked.
Then walked away.
Now he was the one who forgot how to breathe

Okay thanks to everyone who is supporting me and imma be posting mainly Yugo but off if you have any request please let me know even if it’s from another show or anime I’ll do my best to to make them

“A Pretty Boy and a Firestarter”
Setting: Post-Season 4 — at Evangelyne and Percedal’s home
Pairing: Yugo x Reader (Evangelyne’s younger sister)
Genre: Romance | Slice of Life | Drama | Comedy | Warmth & Banter
I. The Birthday Celebration
The golden rays of the midday sun spilled across the lush fields surrounding Evangelyne and Percedal’s estate. The home was warm, buzzing with laughter, decorations, and the sweet scent of wildberry cake.
It was Elely’s 13th birthday, and the entire Brotherhood of the Tofu had gathered to celebrate.
Inside the home, Eva was rushing around with her bow slung casually on her back, directing guests and scolding Dally who was—once again—trying to sneak frosting from the cake.
Chibi and Grougal were curled up on the windowsill, the twins roughhousing outside with Flopin keeping a cautious eye.
And Yugo—older now, taller, broad-shouldered, with soft blue eyes that never stopped moving—was helping Elely pin streamers to the ceiling.
He smiled when she giggled, unaware that his calm presence was being watched from the entrance.
Because that was when you arrived.
II. The Unexpected Guest
The door creaked open, and a hush slowly fell over the room.
Eyes turned to you—a young woman, radiant and strong, with wild hair falling around your shoulders and a confident smile curving your lips.
You looked like a Sibling of Eva, but you weren’t anyone the Brotherhood had seen before.
Percedal tilted his head in confusion, but Eva froze.
Her heart stuttered.
“…(Y/N)?”
You grinned.
“Hey, Big Sis.”
Everyone turned to Eva, shocked.
“You… have another sister?” Amalia blurted out, blinking.
“She was taken by our father years ago,” Eva whispered, voice tight with emotion. “We never found her.”
“Well, she found you,” you said, stepping forward with ease and opening your arms. “I wasn’t going to miss Elely’s birthday.”
Eva crossed the space in two seconds flat and hugged you fiercely, her eyes suspiciously glassy.
III. Reunion and Revelation
Later, the party resumed with renewed cheer.
You were introduced around. The children adored you instantly, especially Elely, who clung to you like a long-lost cousin.
Even Ruel looked up from his plate of pickled gobsage long enough to give a grunt of approval.
And then you saw him.
Yugo.
He stood by the window, sipping juice from a tall glass, watching the festivities with a soft smile.
You tilted your head, smirking.
“Who’s the pretty boy?” you asked Elely, nudging her.
She blinked. “That’s Yugo.”
You grinned wider and made your way toward him, hips swaying like you owned the ground.
IV. Glorified Flirtation
You stopped in front of Yugo, bold as the rising sun.
“You,” you said, “have the most unfairly pretty face I’ve seen all year.”
Yugo blinked, taken off guard, cheeks flushing slightly.
“Uh… thanks?” he chuckled, a bit awkwardly.
“I’m (Y/N),” you said, extending your hand. “Eva’s younger sister. Which means I’m the fun one.”
He took your hand, a bit stunned. “I’m—Yugo.”
“I know,” you teased. “The Wakfu Prince. Savior of worlds. Adorable and single—probably.”
Yugo coughed into his glass. “I… uh…”
You leaned closer, eyes dancing.
“You and me should marry,” you said lightly. “We’d have very cute kids. Blue-eyed, sharp-smiled, world-saving little warriors.”
Yugo's face turned bright red. “Wh-What?”
Eva, watching from a distance, nearly choked on her drink.
V. Kingdoms of Banter
Over the rest of the evening, you stuck near Yugo like a playful shadow.
At dinner, you sat beside him and stole his sweet potatoes.
When Amalia rolled her eyes, you smirked. “Don’t worry, I’m not stealing your man... unless he wants to be stolen.”
Yugo couldn’t stop smiling.
He’d never met anyone quite like you — wild, blunt, with a softness behind your eyes like stardust waiting to be touched.
And as the night wore on, you began to talk.
About your years away. About how you’d searched for Eva. How you’d trained, grown, refused to be someone else’s pawn.
“I knew she was out there somewhere,” you said, voice lower now. “I just… needed to be strong enough to meet her again.”
“And you were,” Yugo said softly.
You looked at him, eyes glinting in the moonlight.
“And now I meet you.”
VI. The Quiet Moment
After the cake was cut, and Elely was fast asleep in a pile of wrapping paper and confetti, the adults sat around the garden bonfire.
The stars above glimmered, and Yugo found himself beside you again—drawn like gravity.
You were barefoot, tracing circles in the grass with your toe.
“I like you,” you said plainly, not looking at him.
Yugo turned to you, surprised. “You… barely know me.”
“But I feel you,” you murmured. “Your soul. I can see it.”
He exhaled slowly. “I like you too. You're… electric.”
You smiled softly. “Pretty boy.”
He chuckled. “You’ll never stop calling me that, will you?”
“Not unless you give me a better name to use.”
His voice dropped to a whisper. “How about ‘yours’?”
Your heart skipped.
VII. The Kiss Under Firelight
You didn’t need to speak.
Because a moment later, you leaned in—and kissed him.
Not soft. Not hesitant.
But real. Warm. Bright.
Like two stars finally crashing into each other.
From the house, Eva looked out the window—and smiled faintly.
“…Took her long enough,” she muttered.
Dally leaned in. “Should we stop it?”
She smacked his arm. “No.”
Amalia pouted in the background, arms crossed. “She’s not that pretty.”
VIII. Epilogue: Spark and Storm
You and Yugo weren’t quiet about your bond.
You flirted in front of everyone. Called him “pretty boy” in meetings. Braided his hair once and told him he looked majestic.
He rolled with it. Smiled like you put stars in his blood.
And when he kissed you again—weeks later, in the ruins of a Rotalström outpost—you whispered:
“Told you we’d make cute kids.”

“Mine to Hold”
Yugo x Princess!Reader (Baby!Reader Episode)
Genre: Comedy / Romance / Light fluff with magic hijinks
Setting: Post-Season 4 — After peace begins returning to the World of Twelve
The day started like any other.
The Brotherhood of the Tofu had been summoned to your kingdom — Atheria, a gleaming kingdom in the skies with flowing rivers of Wakfu and floating gardens that shimmered at twilight. As a princess and newfound ally of Yugo, you had taken it upon yourself to lead the diplomatic repairs of the world, one kingdom at a time.
And things were going well. Until a mysterious spellbook fell out of Evangelyne’s satchel and bounced open on the palace floor.
“No one touch that,” she’d warned as she scanned the ancient runes.
So naturally, you had touched it.
“Wait, what does this one mean?” you asked, fingers brushing over a shimmering glyph before anyone could stop you.
A blinding flash of blue energy erupted from the page, and in seconds — poof! — a puff of smoke, a baby’s squeal…
…and you were gone.
Sort of.
Standing where you once stood was a chubby, wide-eyed baby version of yourself, now wrapped in your oversized royal cloak, blinking up at the horrified, then completely smitten faces of your friends.
Evangelyne dropped her bow.
Amalia gasped and clutched her heart. “By Sadida’s roots… she’s adorable!”
“I wanna hold her!” Percedal shouted immediately.
“You held Elely upside-down the first time,” Evangelyne snapped, already reaching for Baby You.
But someone got there first.
Yugo.
His portals flickered into existence and zipped him straight to your side. He scooped you up carefully, cradling you in his arms as your tiny fingers instinctively reached up and tugged on one of the braids under his hat.
Your baby eyes met his — and for a moment, the world stilled.
“...You’re so small,” he whispered, staring down at you, something soft and unreadable blooming in his chest. “Still got your attitude though, huh?”
You cooed, delighted by the sound of his voice, and wiggled.
“She likes you!” Ruel said, squinting. “Maybe she remembers us!”
“Let me hold her,” Amalia said, stepping forward.
Yugo turned slightly. “I’m good. I got her.”
“Oh, come on,” Amalia said. “You’ve been holding her for ten minutes.”
Yugo clutched you tighter. “Exactly. Ive bonded with her.”
“She’s a baby,” Ruel pointed out.
“She’s still her!” Yugo said. “Do you think she’d want you wiping drool off her face? She’s royalty.”
“You’re not her nanny,” Evangelyne said, arching a brow.
“I could be,” Yugo muttered under his breath, bouncing you gently in his arms as you babbled. “I mean, temporarily.”
Everyone stared at him.
“What?”
The Next Day
You remained babyfied.
Ruel had tried to find a reverse spell but got distracted by a treasure chest in the royal library. Amalia tried to conjure Sadida spirits to help, but they just kept cooing at you and making flower crowns.
Meanwhile, you were now crawling around the plush throne room in your baby-sized royal diaper, occasionally babbling like you were giving state orders.
Everyone adored you.
Too much.
“Princess!” cried a courtier, dropping to their knees as you waddled by.
“She waved!” shouted a knight, nearly in tears.
“Can I hold her?” asked one of the royal healers.
“No,” Yugo answered flatly, swooping in with another portal and lifting you like a prized Tofu chick. “She’s not a carnival attraction.”
“Yugo,” Amalia said with growing suspicion. “You’re acting weird.”
“I’m protecting her!” he shot back. “She’s small and squishy and impressionable, and I— I’ve already imprinted on her, okay?”
“You’re not a Dragoturkey,” Evangelyne deadpanned.
Yugo ignored her, settling into a couch with you on his chest as you drooled happily on his shirt.
Later That Week
You still hadn’t turned back. The spell, according to the researchers, would wear off naturally after seven days.
You were currently on Day Five.
Yugo had built a fortress of pillows. You were lying inside it, wearing a handmade baby cape with his portal symbol stitched into it — courtesy of Yugo himself.
“Why does her pacifier have your face on it?” Amalia asked one morning, narrowing her eyes.
“It’s a protective ward,” he lied.
“She’s teething on your face.”
“It comforts her.”
Yugo was obsessed. It was getting concerning.
Any time someone else tried to feed you, he’d swoop in with your customized baby spoon. When Ruel tried to rock you to sleep, Yugo would interrupt with “She likes portal cradling better — watch,” and proceed to make mini Wakfu loops that gently rocked you while you giggled.
But the most obvious thing?
How he looked at you. Even though you were tiny, confused, and currently had a crumb stuck to your forehead — he looked at you like you hung the stars.
Day Seven – The Spell Breaks
Then, at dawn, a shimmer of Wakfu energy surrounded you — and in a flash, you were you again. Grown. Awake. Wearing one of Yugo’s coats draped over you for modesty.
He blinked awake.
“...You’re back.”
You smiled sleepily. “Apparently.”
He stared at you in silence.
“You, uh… took good care of me,” you said, smoothing your hair. “Though I don’t remember everything.”
He gave a nervous laugh. “Yeah… you missed a lot. I wouldn’t say you were a spoiled baby, but you definitely had a fan club.”
“Fan club, huh?” you teased, stepping closer.
“But,” he added firmly, “I didn’t let anyone else hold you. Just me.”
“Oh?” You tilted your head. “Possessive much?”
He blushed furiously. “I—! No—! I was just—!”
You took his hand, warm and familiar.
“I’m glad it was you.”
He looked at you, breath catching in his throat.
“No matter how small I get,” you whispered, “my heart remembers you.”
His hand tightened around yours. “Then next time you touch a cursed spellbook—”
“You’ll hold me again?”
He smiled, wide and unguarded. “Always.”
End.
(Or until the next magical mishap.)

Shadows Between Us
Yugo x Reader
Setting: Post-Season 4, after the final battle
˚⋅˖* ⊱❀⊰ *˖⋅˚
The sun cast a warm glow over the trees of the Sadida Kingdom, dappling your skin as you sat on a mossy log, watching Yugo and Amalia walking ahead on the forest path. You had been traveling with the Brotherhood of the Tofu for a while now, ever since the world had begun slowly rebuilding itself. Peace had returned, but your heart… still warred with itself.
You noticed the way Yugo looked at Amalia. The way he laughed with her, always eager to match her pace. You weren’t blind to it. Every time she teased him or brushed a strand of hair from her face, he responded with a smile that made your stomach twist.
You couldn’t help wondering: Does he like her?
It hurt to think so. Because despite your best efforts, despite the strength you always tried to show in battle or the quiet understanding you offered in conversations with him… you had started to fall for Yugo.
He wasn’t the same wide-eyed boy he used to be. He’d grown—taller, stronger, wiser. But what drew you most was the way he carried the weight of his people, of his past, and still somehow smiled like he believed in something brighter. You saw his pain, even when others missed it. And you wanted to be the one he leaned on.
But you weren’t a Sadida princess. You weren’t graceful like Amalia, or bold like Evangelyne. You were just… you. A companion on the journey. A friend. At least, that’s how it felt when he always chose her to walk beside, always grinned at her jokes, always helped her pitch her tent first.
You stayed behind on the trail that day, pretending to check your bag. Honestly, you just needed a moment away from the ache.
“Hey.”
The voice startled you.
You looked up. Yugo stood a few feet away, hands tucked into the pockets of his coat, his hat casting a slight shadow over his eyes.
“You okay?” he asked. “You’ve been quiet today.”
You gave a small shrug, trying to play it off. “Just tired. Long walk.”
He tilted his head slightly. “That’s not all, is it?”
You looked down. Damn him. He always noticed too much.
“You’re always with her,” you blurted before you could stop yourself. “Amalia. You’re always next to her, laughing with her, walking with her like... like she’s the only one who matters.”
Yugo blinked, surprised. You could feel heat rushing to your cheeks.
“I didn’t mean—forget it,” you mumbled, turning away. “It’s stupid.”
“No,” he said, stepping closer. “It’s not stupid. I didn’t realize I was making you feel that way.”
Silence stretched between you.
You swallowed. “Do you… like her?”
Yugo scratched the back of his neck, looking suddenly unsure. “I mean, I care about Amalia. She’s been through a lot. We all have. But… no. Not like that.”
Your breath caught. “Oh.”
“I guess I joke around with her because it’s easy,” he said softly. “But that’s not where my heart is.”
You looked up slowly to meet his gaze.
He was watching you now with an intensity that made your chest tighten. “I’ve been wanting to walk with you. Sit next to you. Talk with you. But you always seemed a little distant, like you were pulling away. I didn’t know why.”
Your lips parted slightly. “I thought you liked her.”
“I like you,” he said, voice low but firm. “I just didn’t know if you felt the same.”
Your heart skipped.
“I do,” you whispered.
He smiled—soft, relieved, and a little shy. “Then… maybe next time, we walk together?”
You nodded. And when he offered his hand, you took it.
As you returned to the path, Amalia shot the two of you a curious glance over her shoulder and smirked knowingly, but said nothing.
Maybe you had been in the shadows too long. Maybe it was time to step into the light—with him
