Caregiver Optimus Prime Stimboard!!
🎒 🚚 🧣 | 🎒 🚚 🧣 | 🎒 🚚 🧣
🌼 media: transformers
🐝 age appropriate? depends! some transformers media is rated pg-13 whereas others, such as transformers one are only rated pg and are seen as okay for younger children! i recommend looking into what version you want to watch and as always, it's okay to turn anything off if it isn't for you!
🍯 rqd by: anon <3
🌻 note: i haven't seen transformers in a while but i love this franchise a lot! (i was obsessed with bee as a kid!!) i love prime's relationship with bee so i think he'd be really good with a regressor who has vocal/communication issues <3

It’s okay. It happened. You don’t have to keep going to that place, you already know what’s there.
we tend to keep going back, replaying it, expecting it to go differently this time. it won’t and that’s okay. it’s okay to be upset about it, it’s also okay to move on. 🤎

Toys/Stuffies PSA!
Here’s a few things I wanted to remind you about your toys and plushies! It’s important to remember!
✨ Your toys love you so much!!! You are their best friend, don’t forget that!
✨ Toy Story is fictional! Your toys don’t feel sad or upset when you don’t play with them for a while! They understand, and they’re happy regardless. When you get new toys, they’re happy to have new friends!
✨ Stuffies need to be washed. Make sure you give them a nice warm, relaxing bath occasionally. Stuffies don’t breathe like we do, so they enjoy being soaked underwater sometimes. They’re also very flexible! Ringing water out of them and scrubbing them is like a nice massage!
✨ They like the washer and dryer! It’s like a theme park ride! Just make sure it’s gentle, you don’t want them getting hurt!
✨ If you wake up, and a plushie is on the floor, don’t feel bad! That means they went on a super secret mission to make sure there were no monsters hiding anywhere
✨ There are plenty of ways to play! There is no one way to play, so don’t feel bad if you don’t interact with your toys the same way as someone else, or even if you don’t have any toys! Here’s a post on some non pretend play ideas!
✨ If you can’t keep a toy, don’t worry, they’re not upset! It’s just the beginning of a new adventure for them!
✨ It’s okay if you struggle to give your toys names and personalities! As long as you like them, that’s what matters!
Personally, I love thrifting my plushies and toys! It’s like reaching an animal from a shelter, versus a pet store! :3 all toys deserve love 🩵
#the second one was actually one i really needed to hear...#i feel super guilty that i cant give all my plushies equal time and love... theres just too many of them#it was so bad at one point i was having panic attacks because i thought my plushies would be angry at me or even worse feel neglected...#thankfully its a bit better but it still gets worrying#this also reminds me i should wash my favorite plushie!! i bring her everywhere with me so shes gotten pretty dirty..#i gotta give her a bath soon >_<!#text post#agere#age regression#💗-reblog

tips to caring for littles who suffer from:
emotional dysregulation, hyper empathy,
and harsh moodswings !!
• develop grounding techniques to bring your little back to earth when they spiral. (breathing exercises, hand squeezing, observation games, etc.)
• remind them that what they're feeling is only big right now, and will pass.
• offer reassurance and spend time with them. Do not get angry if your little is easily upset or agitated.
• if the source of the moodswing or dysregulation is removable, try to get your little or the cause away from the other.
• find distractions to help your baby cope. (tv, games, toys, coloring, etc.)
• offer to talk with them about their big feelings and / or listen.
• if they're comfortable with it, take over bigger tasks and set down rules to prevent harm. (Ex: earlier bedtimes, no exceptions.)
• show love towards your little, and communicate your feelings aswell.
• encourage your little to be open about their moodswings the moment they have them. Preventing further damage or fear for both parties.
• if your little is experiencing hyper empathy towards another party, assure them they're a good person for feeling on the other's behalf, but remind them that they're their own person.
• if your little is neglecting themselves for others, step in and stop them from doing so if safe.
As someone who experiences big emotions very quickly, and has symptoms of hyper empathy as well as bpd. I have a hard time distinguishing my emotions, I hope this post helps others like me ^^ feel free to add your own tips on!

#i dont have a cg but this can probably help me when i am having those issues :D#text post#agere#age regression#💗-reblog

NSFW, k!nk or dualcom DNI.
-> Your regression is not embarrassing.
-> You have nothing to be ashamed for.
-> You are not “gross” or “creepy”.
-> No one is owed an explanation of how or why you regress the way you do.
-> Cruel words are not a reflection of you.
-> Your caregiver is not judging you.
-> Your babbles and mannerisms are adorable and full of sweetness, not weird.
-> You deserve to express your regression in ways that feel best to you.
-> It’s okay if your regression doesn’t align with what “common”. It’s your own, and other people don’t get to police what you do or don’t do with it.

"we're an inclusive school! Don't hesitate to reach out to staff"
And then they tell me
"You can't wear your headphones unless you get a doctor's note saying you need them for noise. We will continue to not believe you. You're probably lying. Even if you get it put into the system we're still gonna shout at you for wearing your headphones no matter how many times you tell us you need them."
I'm so sick of this

☆ can we normalize carrying toys / plushies in public? ☆
as an autistic person that struggles with social anxiety, taking my comfort plushies with me always helps me be more comfortable.
it's not wrong to have comfort items, and we shouldn't be shamed for carrying them around!
#i do this!!! i stopped for a little while but i started again :D#i always need to bring my plushie with me to school or restaurants or just like... anywhere hehe#it genuinely kind of feels suffocating when i dont have her with me#surprisingly nobody in my school has said anything yet! which is good... probably because they can tell im sensitive#agere#age regression#💗-reblog
