Rats causing chaos, spiders the size of burly mafia men, dinosaurs lurking the sewers! When there's this many unsolved mysteries there's only one thing to do....

Get the sons of one said myths and figure out what the heckapus is going on!! Welcome to my TMNT iteration...

Leonardo: He is a brown softshell with light brown spots. His shell is built by Don. He also, like all Leo's before him,has anxiety! His father plans to make him the leader of his brothers but at the moment it's more like an democracy. Votes all around!! He doesn't let his softshell wear him down as he mostly worries for his siblings safety. He also a dork,like all Leo's before him. Like April he believes in the supernatural. Something about it just speaks to him.

Raphael: He is a snapping turtle that's a bit on the short side of the other snapping turtles.He's the rude tude guy. What can I say? He's the first to run into the fight,even when there's a clear other option than fighting. His Anger was worse but thanks to his mother (who I will get to shhhhh) he has found other ways to manage his anger like cooking and drawing. He's also a total momma's boy no matter how much he tries to deny it. He doesn't care if the supernatural is real as long as he gets to punch a demon in the face. But don't worry, he'll protect his family to death if he has to.

Donatello: They are a non binary Leather back sea turtle with glasses and is packed with equipment.They're the residential scientist even when his science borders on mad science from time to time. They're also the residential emo. Unlike the rest of their siblings, they don't believe in the supernatural. They go along with them to prove them wrong. They're never allowed to have coffee, they had it once and they almost burned down the house. They're technology is incredible and odd. Sometimes Don has to explain how their tech works.

Michelangelo: he's the yellow spotted box turtle and is the only turtle who can go fully in his shell. He's the sunshine that light their sewer home. He's very social despite whenever he tried, people ran away screamin. He also has no concept of personal space. He 100% believes in ghost, he swears he's seen them despite the fact his brothers never do. He also loves animals, he tried time and time again to get a pet but was always convinced to released them back. Until he found something else...

Venus de Milo: The 10 human girl in the sea foam green bow is their adopted sister. 2 years ago, as mikey was looking over the city sights, he spotted a bald girl in a hospital gown with a V on the back of her head running into a alley from some punks in purple. He grabbed the girl and hid away until the punks left. When he looks over the girl, about to calm her down. She wasn't afraid,in fact she seemed to melt into him as he stared up to him with wide eyes. He asked him about anything about her life, but all she would say was bad glow. He made the choice to bring him home as long as she pinkie promises not to tell anyone about his brothers and his dad. As soon the rest of the family saw them, a lot of questions were asked but only a few getting answered. After agreeing to take her in, they realized that she needed a name. Splinter noticed the V on the back of her head and came up with the name Venus de Milo. After that she was officially adopted by their mother and as her hair slowly grew back, she opens up more to all her family. She's skeptical of New friends but if her brothers say they're ok, they're ok. She also goes with her siblings supernatural investigations just to watch them flail like idiots. She's a natural fighter and is smarter than she appears.

April O'Neil: The girl in curly orange hair is April. She has been the turtles best friend since they were 5. She insists she's a future reporter in training. Her specialty is the mysteries of New York, whether if they're supernatural or not. She has to deal with her high school competition like Casey, the hockey idiot that always crashes into her and Vernon and Irma, her rivals in journalism. She has the Hamato siblings to help her.

Splinter: he was once Hamato yoshi, brother in arms to one oraku saki. They trained in japan in the foot clan. As they trained, they meet Tang Shen. She was from New York and had all the tude that came with it, splinter feel head over heels immediately. Saki didn't but saw her as a friend. As the trio got along, two things happened over time. One was the romance between Yoshi and Tang, the other was oraku saki slowly becoming more rageful and violent for what seemed like no good reason. It all accumulates in oraku saki making his stand and killing their sensei a week after Yoshi and Tang's honeymoon. Yoshi and Tang confront him as Saki rants that he's the reincarnation of the Greatest Warlord to ever live. Seeing that their friend has lost his mind, they try to stop them. It ends in failure has Oraku saki burns in the flames of the dojo. As they both search for any foot clan members but they're either dead or missing without a trace. This leaves yoshi devastated but Tang offers to take him back to his home. As they do, Yoshi reads up on the Renaissance as he looks for a job and a purpose. One day, he walks from the pet store with a gift to his wife, four small turtles. As he walks, barrels of a weird green glowing substance fall from the sky. They hit the street as chaos ensues. As he awakes, he realizes he has mutated into a rat. As the shock settles in he hears a baby cry. He looks up with blurry vision as he sees a monster picks up a baby by the foot as it plans to eat them along with the other three. Despite the pain he defends the infants and retreats. As his visions clears, he realizes what he holds in his hand. These are the turtles that he had bought. He knows he cannot return to Tang like this, so he plants a note in their shared apartment and leaves in the night. He hides in abandoned water tower as he thinks what to do now. But that is interrupted when Tang Shen burst down the make shift door.

Tang Shen: she comes from a big family. She's the lady in the jacket. She got into a lot of trouble and ran away from home a lot. When she arrived in New York and meet Yoshi, it put a lot of things into perspective for her. As they fell in love they brought out the best in each other. So when Tang reads the news of a spillage and the note Yoshi left, she didn't buy that shit for a second. She learned a thing or two from the foot, one of those things was tracking down a person. When she found Yoshi, she promised him that she would always be there for him, no matter what he did. When she saw the babies, she instantly fell in love. Soon they came up with a plan, she would become a "widow" amd moved to a smaller apartment, one with a sewer hatch in the middle of the kitchen. To "save money", but in reality it's a secret hatch to their real home in the sewer. She works for the police and is the main money maker of the house. Came up with the splinter nickname after the boys kept comparing it to the green dinosaur.

And that's what's this iteration is about. Solving the mysteries of not only their origins but other myths in New York. What else could it be about after all?

I always struggled drawing hands before anyone told me what to do. So here is a HANDy dandy drawing reference to see the steps on an actual hand. There are three big muscles in the palm. The thumb lump is most important because without it you’ll never even get the shape right. Circle up the knuckles and draw bendy lines (red) to connect them. Make sure the fingers go from medium-tall-short-shortest just slightly (index=>pinky finger). Notice the big red squareish shape around the palm-that’s the first thing I do. Note: every infer has 2 knuckles don’t forget the thumb does too…just in a weird way.
