Tumblr media
An accomplished executive, Steves Rodriguez is the founding partner of Freemark Financial, a business management company based in Beverly Hills, California. Steves Rodriguez’s leadership expertise at Freemark Financial extends to his active involvement as the founding board member of META Foundation. Established in 2000, the Making Education the Answer (META) Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps Latino youth from Southern California to achieve their educational goals through scholarships and mentorship. On November 10, 2018, the META Foundation hosted an event called Run/Walk for Scholars at Griffith Park Los Angeles to raise scholarship funds for 98 college students. Tickets for the event were priced between $30 and $45 for children, youth, and adults who participated in the 5k or 10k categories. The event started with registration at 6:45 AM, at which time participants received their race shirts. The race immediately followed and lasted for an hour. At 8:30 AM, the event staffers served free breakfast tacos and refreshments to everyone. The event concluded with the awards ceremony where winners and participants received their medals.
