Hey buddy! I’m Madhavi, and I’m a senior at a performing arts high school in NJ. I’ve been a huge fan since Fearless and I’m kinda bad at this whole social media thing but this is SUPER IMPORTANT so I’m gonna try an get my message out there. Since I go to a specialized school and I have a major, I have to write a thesis paper in order to graduate. You’ve been such a wonderful influence in my life, musically/emotionally/mentally/politically/etc, I *of course* made you the object of my paper! My thesis is observing the way production and accompaniment affects the way songs are interpreted. For example, you put two versions of Forever and Always on Fearless; one was fully produced which gave off one vibe (felt more angry and bitter in my taste) and the piano version gave off another vibe (felt more sad). I looked at two of your other songs in the same way (Holy Ground and State of Grace). I just wanted to throw all of this out there because I need lots of sources and research for this paper (ugh it’s like 10+ pages long) and I was hoping you could answer a few detailed questions I have? Almost like an interview but completely confidential over DM or email or snail mail… whatever works for you! REPUTATION TOUR MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY!

Hi everyone,

In under a month my sister (Maggie ) and I (Molly) will be seeing the Reputation Tour in Melbourne and Sydney (my 9th and 10th shows!)

We both have been fans of Taylor for so long, 10 years on the 24th of December, and we would love for her to see this post.

Hey @taylorswift !!! Just wanted to let you know that I’m going to your Melbourne concert in Etihad Stadium on October 26th!!! My friend and I will be in level 1 of aisle 34, row P and seats 11-12. This is such a long, long shot but I have been a fan since 2009 and we’ve been mutuals (!!!) since 2014, you’ve liked my posts twice - and a lot has changed since then, but your music always gives me a sense of comfort and familiarity and I will NEVER not consider myself your fan — I mean, you are the reason why I originally got a Tumblr all the way back in 2011 😂 Pictured is my friend and I (I’m on the right) at the RED tour; we literally spent MONTHS coming up with our outfit and had the most amazing time!

I haven’t had the easiest year — I’ve lost quite a few friends because our friendships became toxic, I was harassed by two guys in my dorm, I moved from NZ to Australia and haven’t had the easiest time fitting in… and being able to go to a Reputation concert is honestly a lot of what’s getting me through. I’m a broke uni student so I saved up for ages before I finally was able to get tickets for the Reputation tour and I am SO EXCITED. I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE 💕✨ It would make my absolute life if I got the chance to meet you, but even if I don’t, I know I’m going to have an AMAZING time!!!!!!!

All I want in life is to meet Taylor Swift. I’ve been a fan since her very first single and 12 years is a long time to wait to meet your favorite.  I’M READY FOR IT.

Why do I want to meet Taylor? Well, like I said, I’ve been a fan since “Tim McGraw.” Her music has been a soundtrack to my life since I was 15. Her music has gotten me through good times, bad times, sad days, happy moments, heartbreaks, and every turning point in life.

I’ve sang her songs through laughter and through tears, through times of having to be brave or times of fear. I’ve jammed to them at parties and drove countless roads with them. I own every album, every song.

Only 13 daaaaays for rep tour Dallas. It’s going to be my first time watching @taylorswift performs and I’ll travel from Mexico 🇲🇽 to Dallas 🇺🇸10 hours and 603 miles just for you. I’m pretty sure, that October 6th will be an unforgettable night. I’m going alone to this concert but I don’t care because I know that I will be so happy that I won’t care about it 🎵I’m better off being aloneee🎵

The first song that I heard was “picture to burn” like 8 years ago and the second one was “teardrops on my guitar” so it will be so coool if you sing one of them. I really wanna meet you and hug you but I’m sure that I will be shocked and nervous, that I won’t know what to say.

In 2015 I was living in Dallas and I remember I wanted tickets for the show but I didn’t have enough money for a ticket, and I watched “The 1989 world tour live” millions of times that I already know every second of the video.

3 years later, I’m happy to say that I’m going to my first @taylornation show In only 13 days!!!!
