Inspiration and Worldbuilding for my upcoming D&D 5e game set in a prehistoric world full of elementals, giants, dinosaurs and other ancient terrors. The coming age of world-changing sorcery should keeps the PCs constantly struggling for survival on the primal planet who is believed to be the body of a dying goddess. Imagine scrolling through it as though it was a massive cave painting; each picture may actually exist in some way in the world, or could be the stuff of myths and stories. Design Set 1 for storytelling cubes for Neolithic and Mesolithic tales for Year 3 learners. Recently bought a lovely set of storytelling cubes for prehistory but they featured too many dinosaurs and so I’ve created my own. I’m hoping to put together a few sets of wooden cubes for small group storytelling in class. I’ll post the final cubes when I’ve made them! 2.1.16.

Inside a dinosaur’s bone. This is a special preservation where a variety of quartz called agate has filled the bone’s pore space. Fossils with this preservation are largely found in dinosaurs, especially sauropods, from the Jurassic Morrison Formation in states like Wyoming, Utah, and colorado.
