probably preaching to the choir here but if you see a disabled stranger in public just going about their business the most helpful thing you can do is a) Not Interact, or b) only interact in a situation when you would interact with an abled person. if you wouldn’t ask an abled stranger for their medical history don’t ask a disabled stranger. if you wouldn’t loudly comment on what an abled stranger is doing don’t do it to a disabled stranger. it’s literally so easy. what I am asking of you is practically a non-action. just mind your business and get it into your head that disabled people are also regular human people who have regular human lives
