Introducing, or I suppose reintroducing for those who know me from my Quotev days my OC Psyche. A.K.A Specimen 42.

I'm very tired so this won't be a complete character sheet with all her information since I've spent several hours working on this part and her old sheet was like eight pages long and I really don't have the energy to match that info dump wise right now. I'll reblog later with her full sheet.

Uhhh important info wise, she's a former Creepypasta OC, but over the past 5 or so years since her conception, her story and the rest of the Sanctuary Cast has grown out of that into its own little universe and story thing. They could still technically (technically) be used in that setting but Sanctuary as an organization are a little too noble in their goals to work with the likes of Slenderman or God forbid Jeff the Killer outside of a temporary alliance or individual members choices(I guess Pixie might, since she despises most of humankind, and Psyche's Clinic provides medical aid to everyone, but they're an exception not the rule). That being said, it can be up for determination if they coexist in the same universe. Idk if anyone would be interested in what that looks like but yeah.

Speaking of the universe Sanctuary takes place in an altered timelime to our own. Long story short circa 1952 the history of the world as we know it changes in an event referred to as the Awakening. Spearheaded by a mysterious group known as the Architects the event caused fractures in the ley lines of the world allowing eldritch entities and creatures beyond our imagination to slip into existence. As a result of the Paranormal Protection and Research Division (the P.P.R.D for short) as a combined effort of various world governments as a means to fight of and adapt to this new threat. Fast forward about half a century later the P.P.R.D now serves mainly the elites and wealthy of the world and have finally cracked the code to the creation of living, super powered weapons, known as the Specimen (Colloquially referred to as Lab Borns). Tensions are high between humanity and "other kind" and various organizations and entities vy for power and territories to call their own. Which leads us to Psyche and Sanctuary.

Psyche is the 42nd out of the 50 Specimen that make up the first generation of her kind (as of now there are only 3 generations, each made up of 50 lab-borns) and was slated into a medical program around the age of 5 after being deemed a defect due to the complete inability to control her telekinesis, and otherwise unfitting to be trained in a combat squadron, but still useful to keep alive for research purposes. The conditions that she and the rest of her kind were raised and trained in were often times inhumane, strenuous and cruel. And due to the unique position that she was placed in, she was not free of guilt of contributing to some of these cruel conditions and actions under the oversight of Dr. Henry Mathews (known as the Harvester in whispers by the Lab born) before escaping with Specimen 108 around the age of 16 or 17. Eventually joining with a few other escaped Specimen and a few "otherkinds" in a scrappy group that would in the next few years become the early members and founders of Sanctuary.

A few years later she now resides as the sole medical provider and Clinic in the small town of Everglade in the Northwestern Wildlands of the remnants of the United States helping hide the entrance to the City of Opette and one of the entrances to the tunnels the lay below.

Thematically speaking Psyche serves to symbolize the themes of hope and guilt and foils her ex Chrissie (Also known as Insomnia) who symbolizes despair and atonement.

Personality wise, Psyche is a character that hides what she believes to be her true self. On the inside she is riddled with guilt and anxiety caused by the atrocities she committed before escaping the P.P.R.D and the little voice telling her she is an awful person. To combat that she's forced herself to develop the belief that everyone can change, that everyone can be redeemed, that everyone deserves another chance, that there's no such thing as good or bad people only good or bad actions (because otherwise what does that make her)?

So she puts on a front, she compartmentalizes, she puts on a cheerful, friendly and upbeat front in a desperate attempt to distract from her inner turmoil. Although it still slips through in the form of her stutter and items randomly floating around her when it's especially bad. And she throws herself into serving others, into always being kind, to always being a good guardian for Onyx, everything into always being good. She's already an incredibly empathetic person which when paired with her guilt and desire to do good leaves her in a vulnerable state where in despite her high intelligence she's incredibly easy to manipulate and has difficulty maintaining boundaries.

Fantasy/ D&D AU Part 3! Featuring Violet Heaslip! Please excuse the messy background I was half asleep when I uploaded it from my Kindle to my phone. I'm also realizing I forgot to watermark.

I'm gonna be real here this one was a hard one class wise since there's not really a distinctly artsy type class besides the bard, but even that is more so the visual arts then the fine arts (plus I already have another character designated as a bard and I want to have a somewhat balanced party), and I didn't really see her in a more melee orientated position. Wizards require high intelligence and that's not really how she's characterized in the show (I love you Violet it's okay) but she is known to be very well liked, so high charisma, again not a bard so...I decided she'd be a Sorcerer (We'll just call it wild magic for now, that might be changed when I make final character sheets for them all- I've already decided to change Tobey from Artificer to Inventor (Kibbles Compendium)).

As for her species I decided she'd be an Aasimar (hence why she doesn't look completely human) because idk. It felt like it suited her you know?

Background wise I decided Guild Artisan would fit her best.

Hello, my name is Lama, and I am from Gaza City, specifically in the northern Gaza Strip. I grew up in a loving family of resilience and hope, with my parents working tirelessly to provide us with a life of dignity and opportunity. My father was our steadfast provider, and my mother was the heart of our home. I have two brothers and three sisters, the youngest of whom is just six months old. She is frail and often sick due to the lack of proper food and medicine. My siblings and I have shared dreams of education, careers and a bright future. But life in Gaza is marked by hardship, and when the war began, everything we had built was shattered. My older brother, a kind and a courageous soul, was martyred while trying to secure basic necessities for our survival, my younger sister was gravely injured, and the cost of her treatment weighs more than the universe to us, now the responsibility for my family has fallen on my shoulders.

Our home, once filled with warmth, laughter and memories, has been reduced to rubble. We have been displaced more than thirty times from place to a place with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Each time we returned, we found more destruction, we always clung to the hope of rebuilding, but in the last attack, our home was completely destroyed, we are now homeless, living in unsafe conditions with no shelter to protect us from the cold nights. The loss of our home is not just the loss of a building, it’s the loss of safety, stability, and the place where our dreams were nurtured.

With my father unemployed since the beginning of the war, we have no income to provide even the most basic necessities. Water, food, medicine, warm clothes and blankets-things that many take for granted-are beyond our reach. Every day is a battle for survival, and every night is a reminder of the dangers and struggles we face. I am determined to care for family and give my younger brothers and sisters a chance to grow up with hope. But I cannot do it alone.

I am reaching out to you with a plea for compassion and action. Your support can help us rebuild our lives, restore hope, and secure a future where my family can live in peace and safety. Every donation, no matter how small brings us closer to survival and dignity. Please for the sake of god and humanity, help us in this time of desperate need.
