someones probably said it before but i just love professional wrestling because in places like the wwe you'll have a bunch of characters existing in the same space that in most other kinds of media just wouldn't be thought of being put together

like its so funny to explain to people that like

stone cold steve austin (your american friends' middle aged dad) and the undertaker (being from hell) had a tag team match against the undertakers brother kane (also a being from hell) and mankind (batshit crazy man who loves pain and wears a thing on his face that could almost be mistaken for kink gear)

like where else would you get something like this. the undertaker is a being from hell, the dead man, the guy who has a meme thats just him being ominous behind AJ styles and his theme as a meme for something being scary/ominous, and kane, who is the dead mans brother, who's silent but incredibly large and also a being from hell and ominous as fuck too, you've got mankind, the guy who's fuckin crazy, rips his hair out during matches, has taken crazy amount of punishment and kept going (falling off of a 16 foot cage, lost almost all of his ear, general crazy shit), loves pain, and then you've got stone cold steve austin, the average mid 30's texan dude who's angry 80% of the time and loves beer

Important details to note:

His name is Michael Holt

He’s a legacy character. There was a Mr. Terrific before Michael named Terry Sloane who has been dead for decades. He’s the reason why “Fair play” is written on Michael’s jacket sleeves.

His origin includes attempted suicide.

His mask has a purpose! It makes him a walking blind spot to cameras.

The New 52 Mr. Terrific is a completely different character.
