Runaways thoughts.  Spoilers below!

I’m really torn.  I like some of it, and I’m frustrated with other things.  I don’t mind some of the changes.  I’m all for changes.  But we’re on episode 4/10 and the Runaways still haven’t actually run away, and it doesn’t look like they’ll be doing it anytime soon. 

Love Karolina.  She’s adorable and probably my favorite part.  I wasn’t so sure about the change to Chase, but I dig this version of him.  No idea if they’re even gonna stick with the big Alex thing with the way things are going.  I’ll be sad if they change that.  I love more attention on the parents and seeing more of them.  But I feel like there is just so much going on and I kind of just want to see more of the kids without all the angst all around.  I loved the charm of the comic with them all interacting, but it just feels like it’s lacking here.  I feel the change most strongly with Molly.

I hope she calls herself Princess Powerful at some point.

He didn’t know what had happened.  Couldn’t imagine how it had happened.  But somehow, someway, Bart had nearly entirely missed the Thanksgiving dinner with the rest of the team.  The speedster found himself staring forlornly at a table of empty pie dishes, only crumbs left behind.

And then there was Rose, taking pity on him.  He beamed as he flickered over into the chair next to her’s, a fork already in hand as he stabbed it into her piece of pie, pulling off a chunk.  “You’re the best, Rose.”

ooc; My laptop died a few days ago, which is why I haven’t really been around here much.  Really bad timing.  x.x  But I bought a new laptop yesterday, and it arrived ridiculously fast.  o.o  

I finally finished cleaning it out of all the junk that came pre-installed and did some maintenance on it to speed it up, but it’s all good now.  Planning to spend some time here tomorrow doing stuff.  :)

ooc; Catching up on the Titans comic at the moment.  Just read a line that was supposed to be “A device to be used in the bleakest of emergencies” as “A device to be used in breakfast emergencies.”  

I’m kinda hungry and totally skipped breakfast.  Should probably eat.  >.>
