And... done! While it wasn't my intention when I started, this challenge was a good way to examine what I consider 'productivity' and what the challenges are in my work-study-life balances. I had hoped to have my full phd application drafted by now, but I still think I've made great progress and can have the draft finished in the next week. I definitely try this again at some point with more concrete goals to work for, maybe looking at different types of productivity.

monday | june 16 10/100 dop (@tea-ckles we're a tenth of the way there!!) steps: 15.3k

possibly the busiest day i've had all year, and that's saying something. some of the highlights:

~5.5 hours of work, including a meeting with my PI

moved into the house i'm subletting for the summer

30 minutes of reading

30 minute bike ride (in other words, went to the store)

2 hour dance class

house meeting with all my new housemates

and all that on the snatches of sleep i managed to get on the plane! looking forward to another productive (and hopefully better-rested) day tomorrow.

Chem tech lab final went rather badly, so I made these chocolate-filled pastries to cheer myself up. Luckily it didn't affect my final grade much! I finished another batch of corrections for my thesis and sent it to my professor, can't wait for him to find even more things that need fixing... But in the meantime I have to focus on the next final: chem tech. Seems like the lecturer is cooking up something evil, so I really can't slack on this one. Some friends and I are hoping to take advantage of office hours next week but we're all kind of scared of the professor lol 💀

love all the reading I've been doing lately. it is also exciting to see my library build up over the years, especially now that I can afford to buy some of the books I have wanted for years. recommendations from friends and acquaintances have also helped me expand my reading choices beyond my usual categories and genres. the tbr list keeps growing and it's a reason to live for.

got some new tombow pens yesterday and wanted to try one out so i switched up the normal grey to a green :)

lunlun remembers she’s a studyblr —here are some pics from the last few months. i finished my german course and completed b2 level. i still need to work a lot on my vocabulary and speaking skills. it was fun though, i had a very good teacher and i loved doing all my assignments: i even gave a presentation about my favorite fictional characters! but i’m a bit tired from constantly studying and working at the same time, so i’ll take a small break from studying because i can’t quit work —yet 😳.

I finished reading the papers I was given (for now...) and I'm making an overleaf doc with my notes so it'll (hopefully) be easier for any future papers we write! also I'm in the middle of moving so I probably won't get that much done today or tomorrow but that's okay
