definitelyyy in a practising self love and acceptance rhythm.. becoming okay with the fact i may feel really bad sometimes but it doesn’t erase all the progress i’ve made 🙂🙂

recently I’ve been on this weird seesaw of my internal monologue where i’m unintentionally saying these horrible things like ‘i feel embarrassed of myself’ and ‘my existence is mortifying’. I’m not trying to make myself feel bad but sometimes i look in the mirror or pronounce something wrong or think about something i said a year ago and i just shrivel up with embarrassment. so, to counteract this mindset in an attempt to not internalise these thoughts I’ve been saying these affirmations like ‘i’m so lucky to be alive’ and ‘my life is so meaningful’. i love the fact that i’m making a conscious attempt to not live miserably.

i am patient, i am understanding, i am happy.

side note: i took this photo maybe a month ago. i was watching the finale of daisy jones and the six and was on the part where daisy starts singing honeycomb and tells billy to go. i erupted into tears and paused to recuperate when i looked outside the window and saw a double rainbow. i cried some more, but it was a really special moment
