My favorite thing about this was seeing the brief back-and-forth edit war on Wikipedia between people who thought there was nothing wrong with editing your own Wikipedia page, more knowledgeable people who knew that it's against Wikipedia policy for anyone to edit their own page, and even more knowledgeable people who knew that there's a specific exemption for providing a high-quality photo of yourself.

This is why it's stupid that there's a unit called a "meter". Geometer moths aren't named for the units they use, but rather for the fact that they measure at all, and this sort of exclusionist message is really hurtful and damaging to the geometer moth community.

To any geometer moths reading this, please know that you are valid and you are still a geometer moth regardless of the units you use.

Today I have learned that Inchworms grow up to be Geometer Moths. I would have assumed they would become Geofeet Moths rather, but I guess they grow out Imperial as they mature.
