I haven’t worked on these goofballs in a while so I figured I’d start making outfits/editing their old ones again. I really do make little guys and dress them up like fashion dolls. Anyways, I’d like to introduce everyone to my ride-or-die OCs I’ve had since middle school; Seth and Gabe. I’ll post drawings with their actual fuckin faces soon. They’re gay and a little tragic.

pose practice/warm up with Mo from earlier this week. not happy with the hands but as my friend who watched me draw this in a coffee shop said, “the body is tea”. this doodle also marks the end of my sketchbook so I’m gonna have to finally stop putting off making a cute cover for my new one.

I’m literally sooooo scrapbook. Ngl I might get into doing stuff like this more bc this is the second collage I’ve made this year, for the other one I used some watercolor pieces I made for it. I used to make digital ones a lot but smth about being able to cut and arrange the paper by hand is nice to me <3

Also how lucky was I to find some good art of Pixie in a stack of already cut into comics? She got mutilated in some of the pages that had already been gotten to but I still managed to pick out some REALLY cute panels. Wish I’d gotten more of Storm. I only managed to find like one piece for Sue, Harley, and Emma, which makes me sad. I think Harls makes a wonderful centerpiece though!

I wish I hadn’t hastily outlined some of the hearts in black but it’s not the worst. I may go over them with copic to solidify those lines, make them look less shoddy. I have a bestie5eva that works at Scraplanta and I may go see if they have any fun scrap paper or beat up comics I can use. I also *have* an at home printer I can literally print shit out on if I can’t find anything or don’t wanna cut into comic books. May use this tactic for some Twisted Wonderland manga panels. Books aren’t cheap.

As I was making this I LITERALLY had someone come up to me saying they’d buy shit like this if I was willing to make and sell them. And then gave me a business card! Anyways that’s like. Super tempting. I kinda need the money rn and this was all made using what I had on hand at a panel. I’ve got plentyyyy of scrap supplies at home I can use.

Back at work. Just doodling malenore. My mom started asking about twst while we were in line for space mountain. She's obsessed with maleficent and was surprised to see her featured in the game. I then explained the draconia family tree and she loves malenore's design. I was shocked to hear she wants to watch the anime and said it's a series she could really dive into. I can't imagine it. My 60 year old mother playing a hot anime boy gotcha game...
