SHITTY  GRAPHIC  FOR  A  SHITTY  NOTICE,  I  GUESS.

      so,  as  school  has  started  &  i  have  been  hit  with  a  new  wave  of   ohmygodicantdothis,   i’ve  decided  it’s  best  to  put  my  health  above  all else,  and  try  to reduce  the  pressure  i’m  under  by  putting  all  my  blogs  on  hiatus  with  the  exception  of,  maybe,   my  multimuse   and  one  other  blog.  i  don’t  intend  on  stating  publicly  what  the  url  is,  unless  any  of  my  mutuals  message  me  asking  for  it  !   ——————   this  really  has  got  nothing  to  do  with   toxicity   and  all,  i  just  decided  to  stop  the  madness  for  a  while  until  i  get  back  into  the  flow  of  things.   skype  is  also  available  upon  request,  and  i’ll  still  be  here  checking  on  all  my  blogs  every  few  days  !           take  care,  everybody.

a  warmth  spreads  in  his  chest  at  the  compliment :   he’s  used  to  being   praised,   but  now  it  feels  different.   honest.   somewhere  in  his  mind,  faintly,  a  red  flag  rises  ---   he  should  tell  her  to  be   careful   with  his  creation   ---   but  instead  all  he  can  bring  himself  to  do  is  nod  and  offer  the  smallest  of  smiles,  barely  noticeable.

this  entire  situation  is  still   new   to  him  as  well :   at  one  moment  he’s  in  a  grocery  store  in  london,  and  the  next  he  blinks   ------   he’s  ended  up  in  what  he  assumes  is   france,   judging  by  the  view.

name :   alexander  ridder  byrne. age :   23. current  residence :   temporarily  resides  in  london,  england. current  occupation :   freelance   /   comic  book  artist. positive  traits :   responsible,  ambitious,  logical,  smart,  eloquent,  calm,  charming. negative  traits :   facetious,  may appear detached,  worrisome,  perfectionist,  prideful,  disobedient. parents :   genevieve  byrne   (   mother,  deceased.   )   /   leonard  byrne   (   step-father.   )   /   biological  father  unknown. sibling(s) :   timothy  byrne   (   older  brother,  deceased.   ) bio :   he  was  never  meant  to   shoulder   the  responsibility  of  being  an  adult   ------   not  to  the  extent  his  father  wants  him  to,  anyway.   growing  up  in  the  byrne  household  as  a  second  child  was  a   relief   if  nothing  else,   when  he  looks  back  on  his  life  now.   his  brother  was  the  one  always  pressured  to  be   presentable   ;   the  one  supposed  to  graduate  from  both  school  and  college  early,  the  one  supposed  to  inherit  the  company,  the  one  supposed  to  be   alive----

but  he  isn’t.   (   a   tragic   day  for  the  byrne  family   ;   dubbed  a  ‘ driving accident ’,  but  the  truth  lies  buried  six  feet  under.   )   and  neither  is  his  mother,  always  playing  the  peacemaker  when  a  fight  between  him  and  his  father  ensued.   there’s  no  one  stopping  the  madness  that  his  father’s  demands  are  now.   (   whether  caused  by   grief   or   greed,   he  may  never  know.   )   alexander  was  never  taken   seriously   enough  to  bear  such  responsibilities :   he  was  always  in  the  shadow  of  timothy,  and  he  was  content  that  way.   (   bastard  children  don’t  deserve   recognition.   )   then  suddenly,  just  mere  weeks  after  his  death,  he  is  expected  to  take  his  place.

he’s  not   made   for  the  business  trade,  however.   alexander  is  an   artist   first  and  foremost :   the  blood  of  a  leader,  of  leonard  byrne,  does  not  truly  run  trough  his  veins.   so,  when  faced  with  the  choice  of   fight  or  flight,   he  decides  to  flee,  and  finds  himself  on  a  plane  to  london,  to  visit  a  cousin.   with  only  his  father’s  wrath  left  to  look  forward  to  at  the  end  of  this  trip,  he  doesn’t  think  he’ll  ever  go  back.

SUNBRUISE.

HIS  STARE  IS  IMMOBILE .    there is a second where their nonchalance collides so perfectly,    that before it shatters to nothingness,     it revives reality where it stood unmoving.     his eyes dart up to the unfamiliar face,    no longer grappling at the ring to amuse him.     ❛    IT’S  STILL  A  BETTER  SIGHT   to observe  than  its puppet .       must’ve  devoured  yours  already .    ❜

HE  LAUGHS,  THEN,      head  shaking  with  amusement,  a  glint  of   curiosity   in  dark  orbs   ------   gone  as  quickly  as  it  came,  but  it  lingers  in  his  voice,  if  you  listen   just   the  right  way.            ‘   must have.   been  stuck  with  it  for   centuries,   now,  that’s  got  to  have  some  consequence.   ’

THE PREMISE

what is human? an ability to reason? to imagine? to love or grieve? if so, we are more HUMAN than any human will ever be.

eight strangers from different parts of the world find themselves connected to each other despite never knowing the other exist. they start to see what the other sees ; feel what the other feels ; soon after they are able to see, touch, and hear each other ; helping them out of situations they have gotten themselves into, soon relying on them to protect each other and their SECRET. as they learn about each other, the things they have in common racking up faster and faster ; even with the differences ; they call to each other. IT’S LIKE YOU’RE MY MIRROR.

THE RULES

i. track the tag v; it’s like you’re my mirror. 
ii. no ooc drama. ic drama is welcome. 
iii. tag explicit content– no sexually explicit content with underage muns.
