Wasn’t sure if people want me to upload more on this, but I’ll do so anyway because I want to vent it out. Any posts I’ll make on this will go to a different blog, which I will use to reblog this and my other post.

YouTube’s getting worse and silencing people who aren’t happy with the OSA and the AI plan in the US, Reddit’s doing the same too. YouTube also pulled a dum-dum and blocked people who are using VPNs, telling them they aren’t allowed on unless they turn them off.

They can’t accuse that we’re on the side of predators if we’re against this, because if they do, than they’ll know what it’s like if we clearly tell them they’re on the side of hackers, dark webs, stalkers, scammers with this verification bullcrap.

I’m saying this once again, we shouldn’t have to give away our information all because of this. ‘Protecting the kids’ isn’t something they’re claiming to do if it means we’ll lose everything we have. Protecting the kids is of them learning about how the world works. That’s the parents responsibility to teach them the safety. And explain to them what is right and wrong on the internet. Not the governments.

What’s worse is how despite all our protests on it, they refuse to comply. Generally, I wish I could say I’m having hope, but it’s not working. More and more is that I’m afraid it’s going to get worse than it’ll get better. Can’t even talk to my dad about it, as he says it’s already happened. (What a way to comfort your daughter as she’s going through an online crisis that is getting rid of her freedom.)

If the online backlash won’t be enough, it does make me wonder if we’ll take our chances sending the message outside of there.

Don’t give up. I’d rather we keep fighting. I may not have any strength in me for it, but I’m still enduring it.

The petitions on this in the UK have been rejected still, but it will presumably go into the demand of a next election. The Reform said they’re going to do something about it, but idk how or if it’ll work. Not sure if there’s any controversy to say that they’re also full of crap, I haven’t really payed much mind to the world until now.

Any protests I’ve seen being outside of the internet are about the other problems in our country, but I’m hoping they’re also protesting on the OSA.

God don’t deny me any hope rn, because I would really like some.
