Season 2 Episode 9 spoilers

I like to think that the only reason that Ekko went into battle looking like… how he was looking… was because he honestly wasn’t sure if he would survive the battle and he wanted to make Jinx happy before he potentially died.

Because let’s be real, that fit was weird to say the least. The crop top was not doing it. But Jinx totally loved the look, so Ekko wore it.

EPISODE SIX SPOILERS AHEAD

Random thing I noticed after watching episode six:

Jax says that the others are all his playthings. This got me thinking….

It is a weird pattern.

Gangle is a glass figure he can shatter at will.

Ragatha is a doll he can toy with and manipulate.

Zooble is a box of mix and match pieces that can be placed wherever.

Kinger is a chess piece, a figure made with the purpose of being moved around a board by a higher being.

Caine is one of those wind up dentures that make the funny clicking sound.

Bubble is.. well, a bubble.

Pomni is a jester. A person whose job is to make someone, normally a person of high status and wealth, laugh.

And Jax is a rabbit. A living, breathing creature with feelings and emotions. Sure, he’s a cartoon rabbit, but a rabbit nonetheless. And cartoon rabbits are weird- Bugs Bunny has the craziest plot armor ever, being able to control and manipulate others and his surroundings with minimal effort.

The others are all playthings of some sort. And then there’s Jax- a cartoon rabbit, a creature known for being overpowered compared to the other characters in their show

Launchpad McQuack!

I love this pilot. He’s goofy, a little stupid, heartfelt, and serious when needed.

I love his voice and design.

Also, he’s canonically an organ donor! What a legend!

He lives in the garage of the manor. I find this funny. Kind of reminds me of how Shellington’s bedroom is also the laboratory.

His date of birth is the date the first original DuckTales episode aired! Which makes him 37 years old right now, turning 38 on September 18, 2025!

He’s so funny and loveably stupid. Disney, this was peak adorkable character. I haven’t watched all of DuckTales yet, so please no spoilers of any kind. But I found it hysterical in the terrafirmians when he asked Dewey to follow him and I was like “My man really is gonna kill a ten year old.”
