bobby being ordained gives us so much potential for a potc style "marry us" in the middle of disaster. like, the 118 are in the thick of [disaster of the season] and they might not all make it out. buck and eddie are trapped together. and buck's like (tearfully) god, i can't believe we didn't even get to get married 🥺🥺🥺 and eddie's like (tearfully, voice cracking) we still can, bud. then on his radio: cap? you copy? and bobby's like. yeah, yeah i copy. and eddie's like (staring softly at buck eyes all red) marry us. please. and buck is just sobbing now. and bobby does. marry them. and then idk. the building they're all in starts falling into the sea or what the fuck ever. episode ends. then they do it properly when they survive next episode and everything is fine.
