In honors of Skybound Soundwave being the diva ever I drew him hitting more poses because I think that’s what he needs in life… with the Skybound style!! Idk what kinda bills he had to pay to be doing all that but I support it and I think he should do it ten million more times

Not unless I hit you with a recipe first:
Fancy Ramen
(Speciality of an old friend from the college dorms)
Ingredients:
Two blocks of ramen (no flavor powder needed)
Soy sauce
Black vinegar (or rice vinegar)
Butter (1tbsp per block of ramen)
Minced garlic
Brown sugar
Spam
Onions
Eggs
Steps:
Microwave ramen for about 3-4 minutes
While microwave is going prepare soy sauce, black vinegar, butter, garlic, and brown sugar in a pan on the stove. There should be enough sauce to just cover the bottom of the pan. Keep the heat low
While sauce is getting warm dice up half an onion and cut the half a block of spam into small cubes. Throw this into the sauce
Hopefully by this point the microwave is done, strain the water and put the ramen into the pan, crank up the heat of the stove.
Mix ramen and sauce until the noodles are brown. Crack an egg (or two if you please it) and mix until the eggs are thoroughly cooked through
Once served, it’s optional to sprinkle chili flakes on top for added spice and flavor
Enjoy :)
Hi it's me I'm now suddenly WAY more chatty than I expected to be today.
Would anyone like a list of things you can make in the kitchen that are likely way easier than you might expect them to be? I'm feeling talk-y and very psyched about being able to kind of cook again.

Since making this post, Moon Day has been accepted at two different film festivals and denied from two others.
The acceptance at the two festivals really surprised me, but what really got my attention was the email I got back from one of the festivals that denied it
Tumblr media
I’ve never really been interested in trying to over explain my movie, I just wanted people to view it and have the movie stand on its own merits. That being said this is really insightful. There’s some choices I made that were deliberate and others not so much, and having someone go through my movie and get some of those assumptions of what was a choice or not completely wrong is weirdly fascinating to me. Like I’ve spent months with these characters and this world, and now I get to read from someone who’s never even experienced it before.
When Moon Day got accepted to a festival that actually screened it before a live audience I made sure to go and attend it. The movie was somewhere in the middle of that evenings roster so by the time it started about half the audience had already left. Sitting in the back corner of the theater, I listened to how people reacted. I got a few chuckles out of the remaining crowd but not in the parts I was expecting. Just knowing that everyone in that audience brought their own baggage and each experienced a completely different movie is something I’m very proud of.
There’s a theater organization nearby doing a screenplay contest and I’m thinking of submitting the script for Moon Day. I’ll have to rework it a bit so it’s better for the stage, and I hope they’d be interested in it.
There’s all that, and I’ve also finished the first draft for my action movie! It’s 60 pages of crime-thriller superhero action and I’m collaborating with a music artist to produce a soundtrack for it. It’s probably gonna consume the next year or so of my life so hopefully it doesn’t drive me crazy :D
During the past five months or so I was working on an animated Roblox movie called Moon Day. The basic plot is that there’s an ice storm preventing the crew of a large snow cruiser from making it back home for the holidays, and not everyone is in a festive spirit.
The movie was released in a Roblox game called CineBlox Cinemas on December 21st, and has since been sent to multiple real life film festivals, consideration still pending.
I got some help with the script for this movie from @goodluckclove and @writingwithfolklore so id like to thank them both for helping getting the writing to a good spot.
Further thanks to @colasap for co-animating and editing, and thanks to @muffinsbs for drawing some artwork featured in the movie
Enjoy, and have a happy Moon Day :)

Truth or Dare ya betacuck you picked truth! what would you do if you were haunted? Like legit, it's definitely a ghost. Does it make a difference if it's s nice ghost? Do you feel weird about being called a betacuck? I definitely feel weird about calling you a betacuck! Sorry!
Kinda feel weird about being called a betacuck but it’s not the worst thing I’ve been called so it’s whatever lmao
Personally I’d be a big fan if I got haunted, I fw the idea of having another friend living in my house. If I hear shit going down in another room while I’m trying to sleep Id still find a way to blame my cat for it lol

I fw the idea of accusatory art lmao
For the AMA
Do you believe that the central theme of a piece of art should be a statement or a question?
I mean I guess it's okay that you posed what I understand quite clearly to be an incomplete question. After all, you're merely the writer/director of a pretty incredible sci-fi short film inexplicably produced in Robox, while I am an EGOT-stealing Internet-Haver.
You ask whether art should be a statement or a question. What you apparently haven't considered is the superior strategy of using art as an accusation. My first published novel, blind trust, was meticulously crafted to provide a case against certain key individuals for when I meet an untimely death. The next book in the series, migration patterns, is meant to provide some fun new developments in who the real Zodiac Killer was.
This is the true role of an artist. I'm like a combination vigilante/detective who spends most of their time listening to improv comedy podcasts.

The first drawing for Liquid Courage, drawn about a full year before the first issue was published (May 2023~ish)
Tumblr media
Danny was the original name for the main character, but the design def changed a bit
Tumblr media
The original idea of the comic was pretty much copied straight from Deep Rock Galactic, giant bugs and all.
Tumblr media
Old character ref sheet, mainly just figuring out the faces
Tumblr media
Originally wanted the surface of the planet to be consistent, but ditched this overcomplicated design in favor of just plain white
Tumblr media
For awhile I really wanted to dive into the language aspect and have a whole conlang, would've def been overkill for a newspaper comic lol
Tumblr media
Around May of 2024 was when I started to get back into the idea of drawing the comic but at the time I was more interested in the world building. The flag was based on my old minecraft banner of all things lol
Tumblr media
A draft of a comic strip that never made it past draft phase
Tumblr media
Back at my first job (before working at the newspaper) there was a "throne" built of cardboard boxes and decorated to look like the iron throne and if you sat in that seat you ruled the break room.
Tumblr media
The last draft sketch of Liquid Courage
All you need is a little bit of Liquid Courage
I work at a local newspaper for my county and one of the perks of my job is assembling the daily comics page. There's a filler spot that cycles between five comic strips for the five days a week we publish a paper, and I absolutely hated one of the comics I had to place. The humor was always stale, the artwork was just copy/pasted, and because I had always had an interest in drawing my own newspaper comic I got my general managers permission to insert my own. Liquid Courage was my answer to the terrible boomer humor that the comic syndicates churned out. I had drawn 13 issues that published between May and August of 2024. The comic centered around David and Abby, two asteroid mining co-workers who lived aboard a space station with their friend Bolton and were joined by two floating half-sphere robots called Otto and Anna. Those two robots were definitely my favorite part about the comic and from what I've gathered they were most other peoples favorite part as well :) This post is basically just to book end the comic drawing phase I had over the summer. As of writing this post, Liquid Courage is indefinitely on hold. Not done, just on a creative hiatus. Creating a work of art purely out of spite and hatred can only get you so far, and I don't wanna go through life being a hater, its a waste of energy I could be spending creating something truly enjoyable.
