Hey there (。◕‿↼。) A simple blog dedicated to the bricky adventures of a LEGO-obsessed 20 year old. Donations are helpful and hugely appreciated. All donations are used for my LEGO builds and for that purpose only.

To be real honest with you all, I have lots of ideas of things I want to build, but I’m currently at a point in my life where I just can’t afford to. I appreciate every single one of you following me and reblogging my builds, but you will have to forgive me because (apart from the oddball post of my STi and AW11) there isn’t going to be any new content on this blog for a while....

I might not get around to building this with bricks for a while (I have few expensive things I need to buy/do before the end of the year) so I did a fancy render for you in the meantime.
And a bonus surprised anime version:

I know I’ve been saying that I wanted to do this for a while now, but it’s finally happening. Here are my first two publicly available models/instructions.
- 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STi (GDB) digital model can be downloaded HERE - 1987 Toyota MR2 (AW11) digital model can be downloaded HERE
To open/view these models, you will need to download LEGO Digital Designer found HERE. Simply download the appropriate (PC vs. Mac) installer and follow the prompts.
Once you have done this, you can open the .lxf file. It should look like this. Feel free to play around with the model; add or remove parts, use the paint tool to repaint the car a different colour, etc.
To generate a parts list simply click “file > export BOM”. This will produce a excel file containing all the parts needed to build the model. This also contains part numbers to make it super easy to find the parts you need on bricklink.com.
Finally, if you decide you want to build the model yourself, you’ll need to create a building guide by clicking the last button on the toolbar. This will take a while so go make a cup of tea.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Finally, you will notice there are some missing pieces and some pieces floating around. This is because the program is missing some parts, and additionally I do modify some parts - which I obviously can’t do in the program. I will do another post soon showing the extra steps you will need to take in order to build an exact replica of my STi and/or MR2. If you have any problems working out how to use LDD, feel free to send me a message.
As of right now there are 458 people following this blog. I would like to say a massive thank you once again for all your lovely messages, comments on my posts and for simply clicking the “like” or “subscribe” button. This is a big step for the blog, and I hope to get instructions for the rest of my models posted soon.
A reminder; you can find more photos of all my models (and my non-LEGO photos too) over at Flickr.
Update;
You can download the current/updated version of the STi HERE. As I make changes I’ll update this file so the latest mods will always be available. The original STi is still available, so if you want the modest/simple wing and the roof racks, you can :)
First set of instructions!

Have you ever thought about making a 1997 Toyota supra, because that would be awesome :)
The Mk.IV is a car I’ve always been fond of so, yes, it’s definitely something I will build.... at some point... :P
