Hi I'm looking for swirlgoodies s2 default hairs. I'm putting together a Simgaroop/Remi hair default system & all her own default links are dead. I'm specifically looking for her afhairbarretteearmuffs defaults at the moment but any uploads of her s2 default hairs would be appreciated.

Hello anon! :-D so terribly sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, all I could find was this WCIF-thread over at MTS. It seems swirlgoodies also goes by the name pixelswirl. Here is their tag at s2defaults.

Hey! Just wanted to post a quick apology about my Google Drive downloads being dead for so long! Basically Google was like "Guess what! All your links aren't secure enough (??) so you have to regenerate them each individually!" And I just... could not. Some kind soul reuploaded them so I'll reblog that here in a second. Hi! As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been absent for quite a while.  Making CC had felt like a chore for a long time, and like something that was getting in the way of me actually playing my game.  I’m trying to respark my love of Sims/Simblr so you will see me posting over on @pixelswirl very soon, but I won’t be posting many downloads here, at least for the time being.  Thanks for understanding!

Okay, Island Living Defaults are polished & updated!  Changed the texture of the longwavyombre, still not 100% happy with it but it looks a lot better than v1 imo.  Also fixed the handful of errors, so definitely redownload if you grabbed the first version! Ok!! I got the defaults done but I’m pretty sure I forgot to disable the Extra Unnaturals from random so maybe run it through S4S’s batch thing first.  Also I’m not happy with how the long wavy ombre looks in game, but it’s going to require more experimentation to fix it so that will have to wait until after my family leaves.... Everything else should be good, sorry for the slightly rushed job, but I wanted to make sure you all got these!! Download Island Living Defaults here I’ll make an actual post with previews & shit after I fix up the last few things!!

I occasionally get questions about how I recolor for ts4 and I find this part hard to explain without pictures so!  Here you go!! (The rest of the recoloring process is just Pooklet’s Actions, which are also required for this tutorial so scoot & download them.)

Start with EA’s Dirty Blonde Texture

Run Pooklet’s Volatile Action (under Natural Colors, marked with [BASE])

Add an Exposure Adjustment Layer, Select the Middle Eyedropper

Click a middle toned color on the texture, as pictured below  (after you click the texture will look like the right)  Ctrl+E to Merge Layers

Run Volatile Again

Add A Curves Adjustment Layer, Use the Lighter Preset, Merge Layers (Ctrl+E), Run Volatile Again

Repeat the Previous Step! Sometimes I’ll do it a 3rd time & Set the Curves Layer at ~50% opacity before merging.  When you’re all done it should look like the image below:
