also it's CRAZY that the implication is that the umbrum can shapeshift into basically anything. their illusions are insane, even in their trapped state. connecting to anyone they can to get out.

nah i think its so silly that the umbrum and a bunch of other implied terrible no good creatures are trapped in the crystal, but when the literal protection crystal heart breaks ONLY the winter storms come?? NAH! at least SOMETHING is breaking out if not more than one. especially when sombra is known to constantly be reforming even when he's been disintegrated to nothing. even the smallest opportunity is going to he taken.

i just think its funny that it's a little guy they send out like "this'll work, it worked last time with [sombra] so it'll work again" and now there's just a umbrum hiding in the crystal empire library who forgor why she was supposed to be there.

NAME. Eirian Jikkens NICKNAME. Ira SPECIES. void pony AGE. ??? Young CUTIEMARK. None HISTORY. The Void. Beyond Tartarus, the endless abyss leads to nothing--this is where Ira was born. Few ponies, or rather any living thing has made it in...or out of the Void. Though Ira was one of the lucky few. With her escape, she took on a closer form to a pony, though it was still far from normal, or even identifiable. She would simply coin it as a void pony, something that she would apply to others, if they managed to get out. Ira currently travels, not knowing where exactly she should settle, let alone where she would be accepted.

OC BIO | SAFAIA CLAW

NAME. Safaia Claw NICKNAME. Safaia SPECIES. dragon pony AGE. 18 CUTIEMARK. none HISTORY. Safaia, daughter of Breeze Claw, was raised isolated deep within the Everfree Forest. With time, however, she grew bored and bitter towards her mother and the life she lived within the forest. Not to mention, she grew curious about both what lied outside and the raw magic she possessed. After what she would describe as more than enough time to wait, Safaia ran away from home, deciding to move to Canterlot. Despite being a dragon pony, she managed to slide herself into the eyes and later enroll into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Though due to not being a unicorn...exactly...she was didn't entirely fit in. Still!! She was determined to not only learn, but also to make friends. Safaia ended up leaving early, between the pressure of not being a "unicorn" and only ending up bored...not really finding herself wanting to study magic as she though. Presently, Safaia works at one of Canterlot's libraries, specifically as the night shift.

NAME. Shallow Flight NICKNAME. Fallow SPECIES. bat pony AGE. 18 CUTIEMARK. HISTORY. Shallow Flight, like her sister, is a bat pony, though she is not a member of the guard. Fallow was born blind, having to rely heavily on her sister. Fallow decided to go down the path of music, though she is a pony who much prefers to be alone, rather than being around anyone else, sometimes even separating herself from her sister as she grew older. Fallow currently composes music for birds and other animals, preferring them to working with actual ponies.

NAME. DIKE NIGHTRIFT NICKNAME. Dike SPECIES. bat pony AGE. 24 CUTIEMARK. tbd HISTORY. Dike Nightrift, alongside her sister, Shallow Flight, were born among one of the few bat pony families who had served Princess Luna before her fall to Nightmare Moon and later banishment. Dike acts as the older and protective sister to her younger, and has since become one of the night guards for the Princess of the night.

OC BIO | BREEZE CLAW

NAME. Breeze Claw NICKNAME. Breeze SPECIES. dragon pony AGE. ??? quite old CUTIEMARK. tbd HISTORY. In the distant past, though not too distant...the Tree of Harmony was protected by a group of ponies who were descended from dragons and crystals. Breeze Claw was the last protector of the Tree of Harmony, her role disintegrating in the last century or so with the rediscovery of the Tree, and later destruction. These dragon ponies were known to be a secretive and hidden kind, their existence fading into nothing with their role no longer needed. However...Breeze craved something more than to simply leave the place that she and her entire family sought to protect. Breeze soon settled in the depths of the Everfree Forest. She would later meet another pony, a dragon pony of another history. At first, this was seen as a wonderful thing, as not too long after, Breeze became a mother of her own to a filly they would name Safaia. Though with the hatching of their child, the one who she had hoped to have spent the rest of her long lifespan with left. Fading into time, and leaving a clock necklace as the only thing to remember him for. Breeze still wears this necklace, though has since become bitter and reclusive and relentlessly protective of her daughter. Though this protectiveness tore them apart, Safaia soon leaving her mother to be alone and continue to swim in her bitterness and long hope that her love might eventually come back.

OC BIO | "SILVA" SILVER HOPE

NAME. Silver Hope NICKNAME. Silva SPECIES. umbrum AGE. ??? filly aged CUTIEMARK. none HISTORY. Silva spent most of her life in the crystal prisons within the Frozen North. Like all umbrum, she was incapable of leaving...until for a brief period, when the Crystal Heart was shattered before Flurry Heart's crystalling, the magic that kept the Frozen North at bay, and the protective shell of those crystal prisons began to crack...she made her escape. Silva was one of the umbrum that was considered a 'candidate' for manipulating a pony to allow their escape. To assure she wouldn't be immediately brought back to the crystalline prison, she quickly flew deep within the snow storm, far from the Crystal Empire. Soon after the Crystal Heart was restored, Silva took on a more appealing and pony-like form and attempted to assimilate into the Crystal Empire. She soon found herself 'living' within the Empire's library. At first, she was not found at all, whenever anyone would come near, she would hide in the shadows, observing the crystal ponies. However, Silva's curiosity soon began to overthrow the 'cause' for her even escaping, not to mention the Crystal Heart seeming to have an odd effect on her, making her slowly forget the goal of freeing the other Umbrum. Not to mention, other fillies and colts would draw her out of the shadows, being called the library's ghost and very quickly becoming friends with them. Silva remains in the library, only leaving through the shadows of the other ponies who have called her 'friend.' Her existence is otherwise denied by the adult ponies, through her hiding in the shadows, and the young ponies who know of her keeping it as their "own little secret." Even though her memory has begun to fog, that doesn't stop her from occasionally hearing the quiet whispers of those that crave escape.
